I completely forgot about that! Honestly, It Takes Two has fantastic game design all around and definitely deserved the awards it won, loved it! Thanks for reminding me :)
A minigame i really love and have probably put a few hours in is ‘Orlog’ in assassins creed valhalla
I only found out about that one while editing this video! It seems super interesting and fitting with the time and theme of the game. I know that when I get the chance to play Valhalla there will be many hours sunk into it :)
Minigames and how they at times perfectly round out the pace of a game has been on my mind lately, glad I stumbled over this video and subsequently over your channel.
Another great example for minigames is Dave the Diver, which if you haven't already you absolutely NEED to ^^

My favorite mini game is probably the Casino in GTA V Online, Watching pixel horsies race is fun
I only realised from gathering footage during this edit, that GTA and Red Dead Redemption have a insane amount of minigames, which I genuinely never knew!
The puzzle boy minigame in SMT 3 Nocturne were fun af just because they were soooo different from the rest of the game
I never played that one, but I especially love those minigames that are completely different from the rest of the game, it truly gives you a amazing break before jumping back into the thick of things! I'll add the game to my backlog for games I still need to play c: thanks for the recommendation!

Warioware is incredible. Microgames have all the constant barrage of new stuff like with shorts/tiktok but demand you to exert full and unflinching attention at all times
Its the perfect gift for those with the attention span of a dog on an unhealthy dose of drugs, or you know.. me. and I'm all for it! I remember never getting bored or distracted while playing them c:

Yakuza has the best mini games
I have never played the games, but what I found during the editing of this video made me laugh more than once! Like the toy car racing track was a complete unknown to me and looked super fun!
@iRywo there's also the fish shooting minigame in yakuza 6,the shareholders minigame in yakuza like a dragon, and all of the yakuza games have old sega arcade games like space harrier as minigames making a video on minigames and only having yakuza played in the background for a few seconds once was you're biggest missed opportunity

But I don't feel comfortable stating opinions on a game I have not played myself.. might very well be that I make a updated version of this video in the future where Yakuza and a ton of others I have missed will be included :) my apologies for not including more of them though, or just talking more about the game on the whole!

@@jarrellfamily1422 because while Yakuza has based on what I've heard fantastic minigames, there are thousands more that are amazing too! But I promise, I'll go through the whole series as soon as I can!
Audio would need a bit of polish. Nice green screen editing.
Thanks man! I've been struggling in the audio department if I'm honest. Was my voice volume too low? Background footage to loud? Echo from the mic or anything else? I'd seriously appreciate the feedback :)
@@iRywo it ain't too bad, but from what I can hear the mic isn't the issue, just guessing the room/walls could use some more padding
@@MC_2311 I've started to hang up blankets and throw down pillows on the floors to try and reduce it haha. Sadly I can't add padding to the walls in the current space I film.. But, I did notice a massive difference between standing and sitting while editing this video (standing needed 20% dereverb while sitting only 5) so hopefully it won't be as big of an issue in the future c: Thanks for the tips though!
