Well done!!! I first heard this song as a young kid in 1964, and to me, it is still as exciting and fresh as the day I first heard it. Lennon's rhythm track drives the song along and the rest of the Beatles provide that incredible sound that still thrills and fascinates us today.
Wonderful as always. Great exposition of one of my early Beatles favourites. Always loved John's rhythm part on this. Through the magic of technology your soundalikes are the next best thing to the originals. And for me you often get the spirit of the originals so right too, that you can barely get a cigarette paper between them. Nice that you're getting the family in on the act too. Thanks as always.👍😊
@COBBETT - You're most welcome and thanks for those VERY kind words. I think the key (to get the spirit right) is to FIRST focus on getting the drums played like the record. That's the hardest part for me ('cuz I'm not a drummer) and usually takes me an entire day. Ringo's playing (tempo wise) is all over the map. So ya gotta get all those subtle tempo variations correct. I always record the drums first and I'm listening to the original Beatles record in the headphones whilst recording the drums. None of their songs fit perfectly to a tempo grid. So to get a song to feel right - ya gotta include the ba-zillion tempo variations that occurred when they played the song live in studio. NEVER try to play or record a Beatles song with a click track!!
@@MPfrance Good to hear how you go about putting your sound-a-likes. Your drumming sounds very fluid / relaxed to me.Bah Humbug, you are a drummer! You’ve been playing the beats for years! Anyone who can play like the Best, receives certification. Sorry Pete no pun intended! None of the great drummers have perfect tempo. If they did, they wouldn't be included amongst the greats. Much prefer the human ‘ba-zillion tempo variations’ as opposed to a robotic clinical click track! Miles was spot on! Good job lad and happy Chrimble to the Pachelli family!
Man, that was great! Loved the split screen of you doing all the instruments, and the back up harmony vocals in the center screen too! This was my first album, my mom bought it for me, then took me and my brother to see the movie on the big screen. It was an incredible time to be a boy growing up in the mid-60's. I'm 68 now, and it's been a great life, but I'd give anything to go back in time and spend a day with mom, and blasting out that album in my bedroom again!
Great lesson Mike. This is a great song for a single guitarist to play as there is no lead . However very tricky and fast strumming . Also lots of chord changes. You are the gift that keeps giving Mike with these amazing lessons and sound a likes. Cool your son played on this one
You really nailed this one again Mike. The harmonising perfect, Ringos restrained drumming, Johns complex strumming and George’s vocals. This is one of many songs that really helped the Beatles on their meteoric rise to fame but it seems they didn’t really rate it.
Yes, I confirm. Lot of work to play and record in front of a camera. I do appreciate, as I try to do it myself, and can't even reach Mike's ankle 😉. All the best, knarf from France 🎸🇨🇵😊
Great as always. Thanks for your videos/ tutorials i always enjoy the soundalikes. I dont believe Paul could say that about this song i would expect a comment like that from John. Not Paul. All my loving is super corny and and a fan favorite.
I had the DVD of Hard Day's Night when I was a kid and that was where I first heard this song and I still enjoy it, such a great song and awesome rhythm playing form both John and George as always
Great stuff Mike. Again you are so meticulous, for a moment I thought you had missed the open E string., but you proved again that you are the best in the east.....or the south of France. I had picked out the John part years ago but hadn't worked out the George part. So now I can finish my sound a-like. As they say in your neck of the woods...un grand merci Michel !!!!
Before this walk-through, I didn't really appreciate how tight the arrangement of this song is. John's rhythm part is amazing, and throwing that B+ in the verse and lyrically emphasizing it with the key word in the title is songwriting genius.
@MPfrance - apologies if this has been asked and answered before, but I’m curious what video editing software you use to make these great lessons. And thanks for all of your hard work and attention to detail.
My mother is 72 years old and I was sitting next to her last week watching the Beatles64 on Disney+ and I asked her “why was your generation so crazy? Look at these girls screaming and passing out.. crying.. you guys say our generations are crazy but you guys had the same thing or even crazier than us” 😂 and she was looking at the video so surprised 😂
The songs that Panderd to the fans were their greatest songs, so Paul's got a stick up his ass in this one, probably why they abandon their fans in 1969 and they never wrote the same again
This is it. Lennon’s greatest moment on rhythm. EVERY Mike Pachelli lesson is the greatest moment of the month!
Beg to differ….winner is All my loving.
Really hear how Johnny Marr's playing style was formilized on this one Mike, could watch youe vids ALL DAY..flo- LowerthanLoFi @ Bandcamp -
@@edd2771 I have to agree with you there.
@@edd2771man that one is just unfair 🤣

Same here, what a time to be a young kid, we were so lucky!

@@MPfrance good advice …..click track has killed rhythmic nuance
@@MPfranceI always thought and read that Ringo was a human metronome!
@vito - Nothin' could be farther from the truth. If'n ya wanna be kind - you could say he 'breathes' with the music...

Definitely a TOP TIER Beatles lesson!! Thanks Mike!! You nailed it again!! Of course your son sent it to the next level!! ♠️🎸♠️

I've always loved this song in particular John's rhythm guitar playing. Thanks for sharing.
What a great musician you are Mike. I will work away and learn this song. Thanks from Toronto.
Nice...thanks for the hard work you put in making these video's..

Thank you for your awesome lessons ✌️&❤️
Brilliant Mike. A great moment in the Hard Day’s Night film.
Good as always Mike. Glad to see that you had a little help from a mysterious player with the drums. Cheers from Quebec, Canada
Mike, you are the best with these Beatle videos. The rest do not compare at all. Excellent! Love the Swiftie Tee
Finally…Thanks Mike for doing this one. I have always been flummoxed with the strumming on this one to get the right rhythm. Great job…thanks again
Bravo, you always capture the Beatles essence.
“Hey kids, why don’t we do the show right here?- Yeah!”
Tell your son well done!👍
Thank you!!👍
Another SUPER fun one to play! Thanks Mike!
Great job Mike! This is actually my favorite rhythm guitar song by John Lennon. He did such a great job on this song.
Waited a long time for this! Will be learning every detail. Thank you so much
Thank you so much Dr. Pachelli.....for all your wonderful works and lessons.......Wish you ......Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I’m a Beatles fan and especially a Pachelli fan. Keep up the great lessons.
That song was always one of my favorite Beatles tunes! Terrific lesson as usual Mike! 👍👍
I always loved that B-aug chord in there...fantastic job as always Mike, thanks so much!
Thanks for this, Mike! This is further proof that John Lennon is an incredible guitarist.
Couldn't agree more!

???? Well, believe it or not - that's a DIRECT quote from Paul McCartney.
Love this song, and one of my favorites. Excellent work on this one Mike. Thank you!!

Thanks Mike. Great work as usual!🎶
The only tutorial featuring the opening chord with open E string! Good job, dude!😊
Great,Mike! One of my favorites!!
Hell yeah. Been waiting for this one
Such a catchy song. I love the bouncy rhythm.
Much guitar work in that piece, especially in Johns great part. But you nailed it again. Good job, Mike!
Super job again 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤

Interesting. I've always played Gdim7 for the second chord of the verse, but now you've got me rethinking it.
Mike a #1 Dad: you are treasure!
You’re so good at these. Can you do all of the songs from hard days night
LOVE your shirt!
hey mike! love the videos! you should make a video for if i needed someone.(love the shirt by the way)
Thank you Mike
John actually put a lot of work into a song that they only thought was good enough for George to sing.
Great, man!
👍 great stuff mike
Really fun song ... wish I could move my hands that fast.
Yesss i requested this song about a year ago 🤩

Can you do Anne Murray’s version next :)
Another Home Run!
A “throw away practice” song by the Beatles is better than 99.9 percent of everyone else’s music 😂
Man, that is chordy
Isn't anyone else bothered that Mike's got three arms?

Absolutely brilliant Mike thank you again
