Great work Geneva - truly remarkable. As a RV sales person and seasoned Brand/Marketing specialist I feel pretty confident you've filled very special void in category. Great video. If you haven't in other media you could easily present the POV of this being a Heritage Brand. I look forward to watching your wild success.
Thanks for the kind words!
"Quality that will last you a very long time." Would be nice to quantify that statement. I don't know if an "all-electric RV" is that big of a deal as a trailer.
Years of pulling a single axle airstream makes me wonder - where is the spare tire? You need a pickup to haul this with just to have a place for your lawn chairs, miscellaneous gear, etc.
Winnebago made one but it’s just ridiculous. It doesn’t even go more than 100 miles and you know when you charge the batteries you can only charge him to 80% so that means that goes 80 miles.
We believe in ultra-lightweight and aerodynamic to facilitate the towing experience with EVs. At only 3,250 lbs dry, the Volterra enables over 200 miles of range between charges behind a Tesla X and other luxury EVs.
Could a Kia EV6 tow it?
No, unfortunately the Kia EV6 has a maximum towing capacity of 2,300 lbs. The GVWR of the Bowlus Volterra is 4,000 lbs.
The interior really feels like the inside of a jet. I don't like the outside look but the inside, while a little claustraphobic, does look very nice. Bigger galley would be ideal but I get it, they have to be very careful about the utilization of space and weight. Def seems more appealing than an airstream but I like airstream exteriors more.
actually, when she walked out at the end, I didn't mind that exterior shot as much. Def want to keep an eye on this company.
Thanks for the feedback.
Our iconic shell is crafted from 2024 aluminum-which is, for example, the same material used to construct a Boeing jet. Our aluminum is 5-6 times the price of softer, dentable aluminum used in an Airstream.
How easy is it to move when it’s loaded up and you're not parked on smooth flooring?
It's surprisingly easy. With a hitch weight under 300 lbs and a GVWR of only 4,000 Lbs, you can pull the Bowlus to your tow vehicle on most surfaces.
I should really rethink this not being rich situation I find myself in.
How many kWh has the battery? I didn't catch that value in the video.
17 kWh Lithium-Iron-Phosphate in the Volterra
there is no doubt that is a very fine travel trailer. One of these days......
The tesla is a turn off
How about a Porsche Macan or Cayenne? Those are popular Bowlus tow vehicles as well.
