Ich muß jedes mal weinen, wenn ich diese Berichte sehe. Die Geschichte meiner Oma/meines Vaters hängt mit dieser Geschichte zusammen (Freetz-Schlawe/Ostpommern). Die ganzen Grauen von Oma gehört- es bewegt mich sehr und es ist mir unvorstellbar, mit welchem Mut diese Frauen ihre Kinder und das wenige Hab+Gut auf eine Reise in die Ungewissheit mitnahmen😢

You Germans tell with heavy hearts and great sorrow what your lot in life was at the end of WW2 in the East. The vengeful Russians were coming for you - and they certainly had a lot to take revenge for. Are you all oblivious to what your Armies did in the Eastern lands they invaded, overran & conquered ????? The SS in particular; they were cruel and pitiless beyond the comprehension of ordinary, decent living people. Tell the whole story, not just what YOU lost and how YOU were treated. Millions of those to whose Countries you brought War to suffered immensely but they don’t bleat about it like Germans do.
Mein Vater wurde in Königsberg geboren. Er war nach 1990 oft in seiner Heimat. Er liebte Ostpreußen und hat diese Liebe auf mich übertragen. Es gibt keinen schönere Flecken Erde 29:41
