I love these videos, I would really enjoy being able to drive as much of this great country as you have been to. As a MD "local", I can't help but wonder just how differently commuting around Baltimore would be if both I-70 and I-83 were able to have been completed like their original plans called for.
Reminds me of my trip to Baltimore/DC in which I used this route to escape the city after being chased by an insane woman. Road rage are its finest...Thanks for the memories.
Another spectacular video Jim! The JFX can be really fun to drive on. Not so much during snow and ice storms, though, since nearly the entire length is just one long bridge elevated over the city! Excellent music choice too! You can use Queen anytime!
Excellent video Jim! I hope you saw the shot tower while you were stopped at Baltimore St.. In related news, some developers are pushing for removal of the 1983 leg of the JFX in order to make room for a new neighborhood on the east side of downtown:
I-83 continues to Harrisburg and connects with a highway to New York. May take longer but if there is heavy traffic on 95 not really. Also, no tolls until Newark, New Jersey.
Pointless Sentience The JFX follows a stream bed for the most part. While much of the road is elevated, the neighborhoods on either side are higher up. If you look on a map, Druid Lake and the Zoo is on the left (west) side and 28th and 29th streets meet up just there at the corner of the lake. It is a visual mess on a map and awful to drive (any part).
Pointless Sentience I forgot to mention the third road... it’s a northbound off ramp that swings over JFX all by itself that also meets up at the convergence of the other two roads.
nice music unfortunately that's the point why many of your great vids are blocked in Germany within just a few hours (publishing rights), that's also the reason why I couldn't reply to your comment :/ thx for the info there :)
Amazing choice of song
Thank you!

Thank you and that is a great question, at the very least I-70 should have been completed.
@@Freewayjimmaybe piggyback on 695 beltway? (Just like 95 on 495 in Washington and 69 on 465 in Indianapolis)

Oh dang
Most normal female homo sapiens in north america:
Boy you sure got some great shooting weather on your trip Jim! Another excellent production!
Congrats Jim you've done it again! ANOTHER great video!
Jim, you're the master...I loved how the song seemed to be perfectly synchronized to the video. The fast and slow scenes were especiially cool!
Nice video Jim. There's some roads that are definitely worth revisiting. This is definitely one of them!
It's just an independent clip I shot heading in to Atlanta on I-85 South, it's not part of any "official" video.

Good stuff, chief! I actually enjoy driving on winding portions of interstates.
Queen for the win!
Thanks, glad you liked it, completely different mood and lighting than the first one.
Very nice song to use!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Thanks, yes it's very lush through that area, which is quite close to the city.
Thank you!

Final Destination was Littleton, NH, thanks.
It's AKA the Jones Falls Expressway... (after a local river)
Thanks!
Thank you sir!
Thanks, glad you joyed it ;)
Thanks, that's what I was shooting for.
Great vid as always!
Thanks, yeah we got lucky with the weather.
50-55 MPH is just fine for this road, it is tight and twisting with narrow inside shoulders.
Can someone explain why is there an awkward and ugly 3 stack at 1:55

what video did you use for your intro?
Thanks! I saw the tower but did not shoot it. Not sure removing the past part of the JFX is a good idea, but I'm not a city planner :P
Search for the article in Urbanite magazine.
