I would like to say, that this animation took 9 months in between my now passed thesis and I don't regret making this
Making this absolutely made me emotionally tired; crying at the lan wangji's longing, curious at wei wuxian's revival and the heartfelt romance of these two
There's so much more that I want to say about this story, like how messed up all the characters are by politics and class, the unseen suffering, etc. But all I can say is that MDZS is one of my favourite danmei novels I have ever read, and I'm glad that this was my first one too!
The way i started sobbing violently at the part where wwx confessed

The perfect compination of ALL the versions of MDZS. I've always loved how the different things each versions' wangxian focuses on bring together the whole story-the longing, the despair, the love. And you somehow made them all appear infront of our eyes! So much love for this animation❤❤❤
THE WAY I STARTED WAILING WHEN I HEARD THE TRANSITIONS IN THE SONGS OMG IT WAS PERFECT. Beautifully animated as well- not me tearing up while I’m at work lol.

The cinema of it all astounds me, like how did you manage to capture the story in such a beautiful and emotional way??? MDZS is one of my favourite danmei along with TGCF and you captures it so perfectly

this is an absolutely incredible work of art. the attention to detail, the fluidity, the emotions in each frame-- i'm absolutely and completely Obsessed. this is a masterpiece and the fact that you spent almost a year making it? that is some dedication and i applaud you for your hard work! you can really tell this comes from a place of love and i adore that. i shall watch this several times over.
