@@Deathbatman The Pixel 5 is $600 worldwide but $700 in the US because of adding Verizon's mmWave 5G to it. Technically it's $100 more than the 4a 5G for wireless charging, water resistance, 90Hz display, all aluminum build, and bigger battery.

I think I’m going to switch from my old iphone 7plus to the pixel 4a 5g since the new iphones are pretty much double the cost in Australia for the same 128gig and at least the Pixel does cone with the charging brick.

Probably gonna go from my iPhone 6s to the 4a 5g. I think the iphone 6s was the last great phone made by apple. Ever since the removal of the 3.5mm into cheap DAC dongles their phones have just not had anything to justify me spending a bunch of money on a new device.

Nice comparison, I think the 4a 5g offers the best value to the money because of its extra features, slightly extra power and because it's future proof for having the 5g antenna.
Well, speeds of 765g 5G antenna are just slightly faster than current 4G, coverage of 5g is still quite small and won't be super broad for like next 2 years, but yeah, depends where you live. Speed is a bit unnecessary to consider based on current data flows, maybe lower latency is greater benefit. Also, if you wanna use dual sim just as I would use it (nano + eSIM), you loose availability of 5G. Simply if you want go for 4a 5G it would be for ultra-wide camera, faster CPU, bigger display and maybe a bigger battery. It is more like Pixel 4a XL+ frankly

Sincerely...there's no use of 5g for our contents size. And infrastructure will be really developed in 2/3years. In 3 years you will get another phone so the 4a 5gis useless if you don't need extra screen.

Great video. Switching from a A71 to a Pixel 4a because I "miss" a smaller phone. A71 is 6.7" I think. Great device and similar to Pixel 4a. Good value there as well. Subbed and looking forward to more videos .

I ordered a couple of slimmer cases from Amazon for my 4a 5g...the fabric one makes it too bulky...so with a normal case it will fit in your pocket just fine
Google is really serving the neede of ppl who don't want a huge phone. Even the largest of the new pixels isn't too big at 6.2'. That said, let's hope they offer an XL device next year. Good video 👍

The pixel 4A is literally the perfect size screen for a phone. People that want bigger screens literally just want a small tablet. But for an actual phone the pixel for a is the perfect size.

Which out of the two would u recommend for overall longevity? I tend to use my phone for 4+ years. Idc about the 5g, but the better processor and bigger battery appeals to me due to longevity. Would I be right in thinking that?

My phone is over four years old and has been slowly dying for about a year, but I've been waiting for a reasonably priced phone with 5G and this is it! I probably won't be needing a new phone for another four years, but I liked this video! Cancelled my pixel 5 order due to the reviews of poor speaker quality, overheating and overpriced. Will settle for either the 4A or 4A 5G and save some money but no 90hz refresh rate and a smaller battery which I’m ok with. Oh well can’t have everything.
Funny enough I get more screen on time on the Pixel 4a 5g than on the Pixel 5

Should buy none. Call Screening and hold for me doesn't work outside US. Google Pixel is useless. Better to get OnePlus Nord or OnePlus 8T if your living outside US.

I have a somewhat specific request and I need advice.
I need a phone with an excellent camera (main) and above all with the fastest possible picture. That is, with minimal post-processing.
I will be using a company application to take pictures, so I need the camera not to depend on the application itself for image quality.
The price does not matter, but ideally it should be an android phone. This is not a technical limitation, but rather a personal preference.

5:06 Could you please confirm verbally that you got 9 HOURS OF SOT WITH 3 DAYS OF TOTAL RUNTIME?? THATS INCREDIBLE. Probably didn't do any heavy tasks/gaming with it, right? Could you maybe share some more insight into what SOT and what total runtime you got in the last week? I subscribed btw, you seem very nice and honest.
So it is possible to get between 8 and 10h SOT but not 3 days of runtime. maybe one and a half. I typically answer emails, on twitter quite a lot, edit pictures for thumbnails, whatsapp messages, some day trading, chrome, etc. No gaming

@@RedskullPro I think the hardware of the Pixel is quite poor compared to other android phones in the same specifications, maybe only in the camera it can be something better.

@@RedskullPro Thanks for the 👍🏽 test. But in fact the software processing is a little different in colorimetry. The 4a 5G pulls more on the wamer side. Stabilization is better surely thanks to the ultra wide angle that provides additional information for processing.
On the other hand I think it's not cool on the part of Google that there is a difference in photo and video quality between the 5 and 4a 5G that yet share the same sensors and the same processor.
