Hey! Thanks for the great question. That has been a concern for many and frankly, I've not found anything to remove them. I simply wipe out any spills or moisture accumulated with water and dry it thoroughly, as I would not recommend using other products for fear of damaging the plate. So I live with the spots. If I find out that Ninja has a product to address this. I'll post here. Thanks for checking out my channel!
Awesome review! Thank you. I tried looking everywhere for a Sous Vide explanation, and this is the only video I found covering it. I bought this device and wow--- I made the BEST potato soup in it, that I've ever made. TWICE. Love this crock pot!
Thanks! Glad you checked out the channel. And You'll soon discover it goes far beyond Crockpot Brand,.You've got more really good eating coming. Wait till you Sous Vide for the first time!
Excellent review. I just bought the Foodi Possible at Sam's Wholesale for $89.00. It also included the rack. I am trying sous vide tomorrow with a pork tenderloin. Wish me luck!
Hi! Thanks for checking out the channel. Please note, Low or High is for use with the Slow Cooker function and Sauté/Sear functions.. The Braise function includes an internal preset temperature that you cannot adjust. You just fill the cooker 1/3rd full with water or other desired braise liquid and food and set your desired time. Remember not to cover the food, but pour the liquid down the sides of it.
Very nice review. I'll go check out your channel now. Here is my situation, hopefully you can answer my question; I'm looking to purchase one of these items. My husband and I just moved out of our state to another where he is working. While we find a permanent place to live, we're staying in a long-term hotel, with no kitchen! My question, does it produce a lot of smoke when cooking? What do you think about using this item in our situation? Which model would you recommend? I love cooking, and I miss it so much! I am looking to save, be able to cook, and have something efficient I can use in the meantime. Thank you very much!
Hello! Thank you for checking out my channel and for the question. I think for your situation the Pro may be ideal. It's light weight and easy to carry and as a multi cooker stands up to a full size kitchen. Think of the Sear/Saute Function as your everyday stove top. You can fry bacon and eggs for breakfast, etc, as you would on a stove, and if you are worried about smoke be mindful of your temperature setting and use the lid. , and the Bake function is your oven, though if you purchase one, look especially for one that includes the Steam & Roast rack. You wanna be mindful though of two things : 1.the wattage of the Pro is 1200 watts, so you wanna make sure you're not running other high watt items at the same time so you don't blow a circuit at the hotel. 2. Also, the smell from your hotel room will be undeniably good, so you want to clear the use of the appliance with the hotel staff first, as you don't wanna lose your temporary place to stay while you transition to a new state and new home. But if your hotel allows it, great piece of equipment for your situation and after you're settled in your new home. Good luck! And thanks, again for checking out my channel.
@@The411onKitchenGadgets-li7xz Thank you so much for your reply! Loved watching your videos, very detailed information...Will keep checking for your new videos!
Thanks for checking out the channel. If you find you are spilling on the base I'd recommend removing the pot from the base and loading it before placing it back on the base. Honestly, for the base, I just wipe any spills there with water and dry well. The cooking pot is a dream to clean, so you won't have a problem there.
Excellent video - thanks so much …give us some recipes on cooking whole chickens - spaghetti sauce with raw meatballs ( no pasta ) when to use slow cook for spaghetti sauce only or soups -do I use the bake button ? I cooked my sauce for 8 hours in a regular crockpot - now I think I cook my sauce on bake fir 4 hours right ?
Thanks for the question, suggestions, and for checking out my channel. Slow Cook is optimized for soups and sauces, so you could still slow cook your sauce . You could sauté your meatballs to brown them to begin the cooking process and then slow cook them in the sauce and they will finish cooking. I would not bake them for 4 hours.
We Sous vide all of our meats!! I’m looking at purchasing this but we also have an Anova Sous Vide Machine. So I’m excited to see how this does too. I’ll be purchasing with in the next month. Thank you for this video and explanations.
Thanks for checking out my channel and for the question. So, if your model does not include a Sous Vide and you'd like to try this cooking method you can purchase a Sous Vide stick to use with a stock pot you may have at home, or if you have an Instant Pot or other brand pressure cooker that has a Sous Vide function, that would be another way to try it. There's really no comparison to Sous Vide, best steak I've ever had in my life...not kidding...all I can say is YUM.
@The411onKitchenGadgets-li7xz love your reply. I'm looking at amazon currently for one but yes, the taste and texture is unmatched. My friend does a1 garlic liquid smoke a couple days prior and damn.
Loved your video. I purchased this unit a couple of months ago and have only used it a couple of times. But will be using it more for fall and the holidays. I know the capacity is 8.5 quarts, but for stews or soups, is it ok to fill the pot to full capacity? The only level marker I see is for the sous vide. Thanks!
Thanks for the question and for checking out the channel. While it's true the finished capacity of food it can hold is 8.5 quarts, keep in mind that when slow cooking for example, you only want to fill the pot 3/4 full because liquid does not evaporate while cooking using the slow cook function. so keep that in mind when making soup using slow cook. When using the braise function, again 1/3 full down the sides of the food without submerging it . The natural juices of the food will release during this process and will result in more au jus or liquid in the pot. so you need room for the extra capacity... And as you noticed, fill the cooker with water to the marked line for Sous Vide. So the short answer for soups and stews on slow cook you need to allow for the fact that liquid does not evaporate and on braise natural fluid will release from the food during the cooking process, so don't max out all 8.5 quarts. But for sautéing or baking, you can load it up and take full advantage of all 8.5 quarts using these 2 cooking processes. Long answer I know, but I wanted to be thorough. You got some good holiday eating coming!
Hi! Thanks for the question and for checking out my channel. Before I get to the heart of your question, please know that the Pro is a multi cooker, but it cannot air fry. And, it sounds like you may be debating purchasing one that can also air-fry. As good as the Pro is, If the primary function you want to use is air fry, I'd consider the Ninja Combi, because it can do everything this Pro can do and more including air fry. The Ninja Speedi is another option designed for small families of 4 that can do everything the Pro can do as well as air-fry. So, if your family is larger than 4 people or the Combi is in your budget, it's the best of all worlds. If you have a smaller household, then consider the Speedi, if it fits in your budget. Either way, you cannot go wrong. But if I had to choose and didn't already own an airfryer, I'd buy the Ninja Combi. Hope this helps.
Also, The Ninja XL Pressure Cooker with Smart Lid air-frys and does everything the Pro can do and more, so that is another great option for a multi -cooker. Please note that Ninja has stopped manufacturing them, so what is available in the marketplace is all that remains.
great video. Do you have one on this showing the operation of it? Mine beeps at everything I do. Plus why do I have to turn it completely off to change mode. Even just from hi to low? Is that just mine or not? Much appreciated
Thanks for checking out the channel and the question. I do not have operational videos, as there are many of those on UA-cam for the Pro. My focus is to tell you what those videos don't. Remember the Pro is a multi cooker with preset modes for the 8 cooking options, so when you change a setting, it's like a reset for the cooker, as it brings up the appropriate set of options for the mode selected. This is not a bad thing, as Ninja has done the work for you. And yes, Ninja beeps when you plug it in, beeps when it's done...so it's not you. But I 'd be surprised if after you Sous Vide a steak if you didn't fall in love with the Ninja Beep! Thanks again, for your comments.
Thank you for checking out my channel and for your question. To clean the bottom, I take a damp sponge and then wipe out . I don't use anything but water and ensure afterwards it is completely dry.
The Slow Cook function works fine on low and high but It does not work like a Crockpot. I've found most that say it doesn't work expect it to work like Crockpot brand cookers. The Ninja Possible Cookers work differently and cook 30% faster than Crockpots. So, if you go in with the expectation to learn and adjust to how the slow cook function works on Ninja Cookers you'll be fine. If you expect the Ninja to work exactly like a Crockpot, you will be disappointed, because it's not a Crockpot. It's a Ninja. And that's not a bad thing, not a bad thing at all in my experience. Thanks for checking out my channel and for your question. Hope you found my answer helpful.
Thanks for the question. Some Presets Like Sear/Sauté and Slow Cook simply have Low and High choices and the actual temps of both are not disclosed by Ninja.. Braise is a set temp as well, and is not disclosed either, but to achieve a braise the food must stay at 210F for at least an hour, but that's just the science of the cooking method. Sous Vide Temps range between 120F and 190F. Proof ranges are between 90F and 105F and the Bake range is between 250F and 425F. Steam also is a preset where the temp is not disclosed. It preheats and then steams . The only user input is the desired amount of time to steam the food inserted in the pot. Hope this is helpful. Thanks for checking out my channel.
Thanks! I so appreciate you checking out the channel. Thanks too, for the question. The answer is : Yes, the cooker will automatically switch to Keep Warm at the end of the time cycle.
Hey new subscriber. I’ve had the Ninja slow cooker the first one that came out for years n years. It got a short in it n would cut off n on by itself if plugged in. I used it every week several times a week or more. I’m disabled n it was a good n easy way to cook. My best friend bought me this one to replace it. We got it for 89.99. The other day Kohl’s was having a pre Black Friday sale n with both coupons we got it for that. Thank you for your info.
Hey! Welcome. Thanks for checking out the channel and subscribing! Glad you found the video helpful and that you and your friend were able to pick up the Pro for such a great price. You've got some good eatin' coming'.
@@Tobywedinikki Nah, it's good. Just approach with an open mind. It's not the slow cooker,. It's the Pro and that's a good thing. Learn its ways and it won't disappoint. Good luck!
Thanks for your review. I just bought the one with all the choices. I just made or in the middle of making a beef stew. I love the sear/sauté function. However I feel the slow cook high setting is way to high and the low setting is way too low. I hope it turns out well.
Thank you for checking out the channel. Key to remember is the Pro cooks 30% faster, so it is not your traditional slow cooker. That's not a bad thing, but it will require you to leave all the things you learned about slow cooking from other slow cookers by the wayside and learn & discover how the Ninja works with your recipes because it does cook very differently.. So don't give up on slow cook yet. You got some good eating coming'.Thanks again for checking out the channel and for your question and feedback. I so appreciate it. Good luck & God Bless.
I love real world reviews without paid marketing promotions, thank you for review, I’m looking for something to cook lean cuts of beef ( sirloin tip, top round), slow cook or some other option to make meat soft, I’m kinda new in cooking world, I will need to learn some new recipes for slow cooking.
The Braise function on the Pro is fabulous for what you want to do, much better than slow cook for those cuts of meat in my experience. Slow cooking leaner cuts of meat can make them tough, so I'd definitely recommend braising leaner cuts as opposed to slow cooking..All models of the Possible Cooker would do a good job of that. Thanks for the comment and for sharing your thoughts.
Hey Everyone! Want to let you know, today-September 19, 2023, HSN is offering The Possible Cooker Pro as the value of the day, for 119.99 with Flex Pay at *5 @$24.. It includes the roast rack and claws to shred chicken or pull pork. They also have exclusive colors too. So, if you missed the Sam's Club sale, you may want to consider this.
Don't think missyestep447 saw your question, but. based on info provided online at Target.com, it does not list the rack as included in the pack up,, but you can purchase directly from Ninja and if Target will honor Sam's Club price, You'll still beat HSN & QVC's price of 149.98 with the rack included in their packups.
I bought mine as shown in the video from Sam's club for 99.99 and that is an everyday price. Keep in mind they can be hard to find at Sam's club, but I was lucky and got one of the remaining ones at my Club.
Place 3 cups of water in the Possible Cooker. Add Eggs. Select Sear/Saute' High Cover. It will take a bit for the water to come to a boil. Once boiling, allow it to boil for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, turn off cooker and transfer eggs to ice water for a few minutes. Then Peel and Enjoy. Please note , time varies based on size and amount of eggs. Thanks for the question and for checking out my channel.
The base that the inner pot sits in should not have any water or other liquid put into it. The inner pot that sits in the base requires water to the marked line for Sous Vide.

Hey thanks for the info… can you tell me if it Sears well? Like a Chuck roast, pork butt, chicken and especially short ribs. I love to braise and need a deep sear for all the good flavor… thinking of getting it for $90 at Sams (till the 20th)… it’s a bit too big for me but I guess bigger is better than smaller, lol
Hi! Thanks for the question!, The Possible Pro does sear, but if you really want the best sear for braising, I'd purchase the Instant Precision Dutch Oven I talk about in Ep 2,. For searing, nothing is better than cast iron, and the Instant Precision Dutch Oven has a braise function too. As I own both products, I can tell you the sear that you'll achieve in the cast iron Dutch Oven is far superior than the Ninja. So, if it's in your budget, I'd recommend The Instant Precision Dutch Oven over the Ninja Pro for your specific purpose. Thanks for watching. Good luck!
yes it really does! making a beef stew for dinner and the meat seared very well! so love this new pot! old slow cookers meant searing in a separate pot, making another mess.. not this! all in one and its easy to clean
LOVE THIS PRODEUCT. I bought this Instant Precision Dutch Oven 8 months ago, used it three times, and finally gave away - ABSOLUTELY TOO, TOO HEAVY - gave it away and just bought the Ninja Foodi 8.5 cooker which is SUPERB, a true joy to use...The Nina Cooker weighs only 12 pounds, and it cooks just as well , and gets just as hot, as the Instant Dutch Oven. It also cooks on the sides as well as on the bottom of the cooker. It also has a few more functions that the other, and the Dutch Oven weighs a very HEFTY 20.5 lbs. THINK BEFORE YOU BUY! Reply
It’s $99.98 regular price at Sam’s Club! And I got it on sale there for $79.98 February 2024! I love this Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker Pro more and more!!
So interesting cuz ive seen so many videos where Experts have stated that they have done videos to show that the hockey put in the oven. Now I'm so confused I want to watch cannot be put in the oven.
I'm not new to cooking but vision and all the new tech of this cooker is challenging. The older versions of ninja cookers were simpler. Ty for this video ❤
I have not tried it with a liner, nor have I found one for the inner pot's unique shape. I've found it very easy to clean too. But because I've not tried it with one, I cannot recommend their use.
Thanks for checking out my channel and for the question. Yes, using Sear/Sauté on Hi . Place water in your cooker and eggs in the pot, let it come to a boil, cover . You may have to monitor the Pro for the first time to figure out the best length of time based on your size of eggs, etc. but it can be done successfully.
Hi! Thanks for the question! You want to consider the weight and if bone in or boneless and type of cut when choosing braise time typically the longer, the more tender. Season your roast to taste and brown it on all sides in the cooker. Then deglaze the pot and place the roast and any other aromatics like onion and garlic in the cooker. Pour water or desired liquid down the sides of your meat but do not cover it. You want the cooker about 1/3 full of the liquid. Set your time, typically if it is under 6 pounds 4 hours or less, 6.or more pounds you can braise for 5 or 6 hours depending on the cut and toughness of the protein.
Do you happen to have the interior dimensions of the cooking pot itself? I can't find it anywhere - and Ninja couldn't even tell me when I chatted with them.
Thanks for the question and checking out the channel. The basics of cooking still apply not withstanding the vessel used to cook. So, you still have to know the basics of food safety and the proper temperature foods need to reach to be safe to consume, etc. So it's not going to tell you something is done. You must decide that. It responds to the inputs you put into it, time, temperature, etc, just like your freestanding oven would. However, it does cook 30% faster than your freestanding oven so adjust your timing accordingly,
I've never tried it, but because it has a sauté function, I imagine after filling the cooker with your desired oil, once at temperature, it should deep fry as you would on a stovetop. Love to know how it turns out. Thanks for your question and checking out the channel.
I was going to go with a pro but I decided not to so I bought one of the other ninja cookers that have a built in timer. The pro don't that's why I didn't go with this one.
Thanks for watching. and sharing your comments. Glad the video was able to help you make the decision that was best for you. And, while the Pro does not have a separate standalone timer setting, each function has within it its own specific timer. Ninja is a fine brand, so I'm confident whichever product you chose, You've got some good eatin' comin'
This is not the same as a crockpot. Watch lots of videos before buying this unless you're looking for a challenge. I loved the older ninja multicookers, this not so much.😢jmo
Thanks for the question and checking out my channel. I've not made biscuits in it, but I have used the bake function for other things and many fellow users have made bread successfully in it. Would love to know how a batch comes out if you make some. Keep us posted. .
This I have never tried, so if anyone out there has, let us know. I think it would take longer than a rice cooker or stove top to come to a boil, but as I have not cooked rice in mine, I'm curious if it would work. I will say, I did an episode on the EveryGrain Cooker which is an excellent rice & grain cooker, if you're in the market for one. Thanks for the question and checking out the channel
I've not tried it personally in the Pro, but if you are in the market for a great rice cooker, check out Episode 5 on the Nutribullet Multigrain Cooker. It is a rice Cooker that does so much more. Thanks for the question and for checking out my channel.
I don't understand your comment, or how it relates to how I speak, but if you have a problem with the tempo of my speech, you can speed up or slow down the rate of play on UA-cam.
Special Note: The Lid for the Pro is also Oven safe.

great video.
I bought one of these cooker pro’s and oh my I love it! I did a chili and was the best chili I’ve ever had now trying to do some pulled pork
Thanks for watching and sharing your comment. Pulled pork sounds yummy!
Very helpful, but hoe do you clean the bottom when you remove the pot??!?❤
Thank you for checking out my channel and for your question. To clean the bottom, I take a damp sponge and then wipe out . I don't use anything but water and ensure afterwards it is completely dry.
Does it automatically switch to warm once the slow cook time is up?
Thanks for checking out the channel and for the question. Yes, it does automatically switch to Keep Warm.
Good information, I just bought one from Costco for $100, which seemed like a good price. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks.
Thanks for checking out the channel and sharing your comments. Excited for you! You've got some good eatin' comin'
So does the low setting on slow cook work? I keep reading that its to low in other reviews...
Id love to know tempatures at the presets
Thank you so much! I definitely took notes for mine!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much for watching!
The sides and
bottom heat up.
That cooks liquid
faster and evenly.
That also bakes
the bread.

Great review! Question: does slow cooker switch to warm when time you've set is finished?
@@The411onKitchenGadgets-li7xz I hope so. It’s different from the very first one lol. It might be a lot of not so good good till I figure this out lol
@@Tobywedinikki Nah, it's good. Just approach with an open mind. It's not the slow cooker,. It's the Pro and that's a good thing. Learn its ways and it won't disappoint. Good luck!
@@The411onKitchenGadgets-li7xz thank you
my pleasure
I purchased mine Ninja Possible Cooker Pro from Costco on 10/17/2024 for 89.99
Great Deal! Thanks for checking out my channel.

It's on sale now for 99 dollars
@@adraineholmes4566 GREAT! Thanks for letting me know and for checking out the channel!
Sam’s Club has the pro model for $89.98. And thanks for the review.
WOW! That's a great price! Definitely take advantage of that if you are considering it. Thanks for sharing!
I got this from target using the price match and they honored it!
@@kingtut5121 GREAT!
@@kingtut5121 did it still come with the rack from target?
Don't think missyestep447 saw your question, but. based on info provided online at Target.com, it does not list the rack as included in the pack up,, but you can purchase directly from Ninja and if Target will honor Sam's Club price, You'll still beat HSN & QVC's price of 149.98 with the rack included in their packups.
I bought mine as shown in the video from Sam's club for 99.99 and that is an everyday price. Keep in mind they can be hard to find at Sam's club, but I was lucky and got one of the remaining ones at my Club.
Good Job! Great buy! Thanks for checking out the channel and sharing your experience.
Just got this how do you do hard boiled eggs
Place 3 cups of water in the Possible Cooker. Add Eggs. Select Sear/Saute' High Cover. It will take a bit for the water to come to a boil. Once boiling, allow it to boil for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, turn off cooker and transfer eggs to ice water for a few minutes. Then Peel and Enjoy. Please note , time varies based on size and amount of eggs. Thanks for the question and for checking out my channel.
AFTER ALL IS SAID AND DONE, which cooking pot/Dutch oven do you prefer??? The Ninja cooker is much better and more versatile than the Dutch oven -
Glad you're lovin' it, Sandra!
Do you put water in cooker base?

Glad you are enjoying it!

I hope the information was helpful and thank you for watching and sharing your comments.
I'm not new to cooking but vision and all the new tech of this cooker is challenging. The older versions of ninja cookers were simpler. Ty for this video ❤
Is it okay to use crockpot liners?
I have not tried it with a liner, nor have I found one for the inner pot's unique shape. I've found it very easy to clean too. But because I've not tried it with one, I cannot recommend their use.

Has anyone made hard-boiled eggs 🥚 inside of this unit?
Thanks for checking out my channel and for the question. Yes, using Sear/Sauté on Hi . Place water in your cooker and eggs in the pot, let it come to a boil, cover . You may have to monitor the Pro for the first time to figure out the best length of time based on your size of eggs, etc. but it can be done successfully.
there is no better way to cook a thick filet mignon than sous vide. perfectly uniform meat and intense marinade!
Couldn't agree more! YUM!
So helpful, thank you.😚

How do u braise a roast
Thanks for the question. The inner pot is 11L x6W x6.5D approximately.

How do you know when something IS cooked, or does it tell you? Thank you😘
Thanks for the question and checking out the channel. However, it does cook 30% faster than your freestanding oven so adjust your timing accordingly,
Can you deep fry french fries with this cooker?
I've never tried it, but because it has a sauté function, I imagine after filling the cooker with your desired oil, once at temperature, it should deep fry as you would on a stovetop. Love to know how it turns out. Thanks for your question and checking out the channel.
I watched a review that reported the instructions say it is not for deep frying.
@@SambasueGreat, thanks for the comment!

Sams sells it with the rack

Oh wow! EXCELLENT!
Can you cook rice in the ninja?
This I have never tried, so if anyone out there has, let us know. I think it would take longer than a rice cooker or stove top to come to a boil, but as I have not cooked rice in mine, I'm curious if it would work. I will say, I did an episode on the EveryGrain Cooker which is an excellent rice & grain cooker, if you're in the market for one. Thanks for the question and checking out the channel
I’m waiting to see someone make a prime rib in this. Thanks!
It would be perfect for Braise or Sous Vide!

Slow cook vs braise explanation was lacking.
Thanks for the feedback. What specifically did you want to know about the two that wasn't covered?
Can you make rice in this thing?! 😂🤦🏽♀️
I've not tried it personally in the Pro, but if you are in the market for a great rice cooker, check out Episode 5 on the Nutribullet Multigrain Cooker. It is a rice Cooker that does so much more. Thanks for the question and for checking out my channel.
