Blacks were mostly poor and uneducated and the ones that weren't were fighting the government, that's why there were no Blacks in government. After Zimbabwe-Rhodesia was founded, and a Black majority government was established; Robert Mugabe, founder of ZANU, refused to lay his arms down (he wanted to eradicate all white Rhodesians from rule) and continued to fight, by attacking civilians, raping women, burning farms down, etcetera. And after he took over, he started to hunt down all ex-Military in the country and Whites mostly left the country out of fear of their lives. A country 8% white is now 0.2% white.
