Hi there, I just want to say thank you for your review and answering some questions. I ordered the experience pro for my brother to help him with his noise sensitivity issues and have the option to use mute if needed! I also ordered experience for myself for concerts! Thanks so much!
Hi Rakel. I’m so glad this review has helped you. I thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience with the loop product. I’m sure it will help others. Greetings from New York!

I'm from Brazil, your videos really helped me choosing!! Since the taxes are expensive, I bought the experience and the quiet one to get free ship, cause I understood reading their website that pro reduces only 18dB and reachs 23dB with mute, should've take only the pro instead, saw this video after the purchase :( But I'm looking now for the mute package for future, since they can combine with Quiet!
Thank you so much, hugs from Brazil!
PS: I have noise sensibility and use foam blockers everywhere, college, shopping, restaurants, supermarket etc, I'll be switching them in each ocasion and I'll write how it worked to help ppl with the same issues soon enough! (they will arrive in 4-8 weeks)
Hi Sayuri. I am so glad my review helped you. And yes please write back with your own review on how they worked for you.

2) meus vizinhos fazem festas e o barulho me incomoda. Qual deles? Seria melhor comprar os dois? Obrigada ❤️
Interesting what you said re combining the loop quiet and the mute. I just had a look at their website earlier today where they said you can not combine the two of them.
Hi @pax3550. Yes, I’ve heard that too. A subscriber told me that you can combined the mute with all of the brands that they sell. I didn’t realize this or even think of this, but tried it and it worked. Unless they modified their products so that they don’t fit anymore, they definitely all work together for me at the time I received them.
-Michael
Hi, thanks for your info. My only comment is loop say "Unlike our other Loops, Loop Quiet doesn't have an acoustic channel, which means the Mute doesn't provide an additional 5dB of noise reduction. However, you can still choose to insert Loop Mute if you want to personalize your Loop Quiets."
Hi. You're welcome. Thank you for watching.
Unless they modified their products so that they don’t fit anymore, the mute I received with the EXPERIENCE works on all 3 products. I have heard other subscribers tell me what you are telling me. So, that would be my best guess.

Thank you for this information -- I have a question -- Would the Loop Experience Pro help in situations where I would need to hear myself singing when I am unexpectedly pulled on stage to sing at events with live bands and I'm unprepared and not equipped with an in-ear monitor system? When this happens, especially if the sound system is not that great, I have issues not being able to hear myself on stage, which is so frustrating, so I'm just wondering if using Loop would help me hear myself singing while still being able to hear the live band...Thanks
Hey Gale. Great question. Yes! This is what they are made for. As a singer and musician myself I can safely say these are great in those situations. Picture the LOOP Experience Pro as a volume knob, not a muffler. You’re literally turning down everything in the room equally. You’ll protect your ears and sing comfortably.
That’s not to say, if you never used earplugs before, that it doesn’t take some getting used to. You will hear more of your “inner voice” and vibrations. I had to practice a bit and record myself to make sure I still sounded good. But once you get used to it it’s a game changer.
Does that help?
-Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Yes it helps - Thank you! I actually just got Loop Experience Pro delivered this evening ... And I see what you mean about having to get used to it..I've never used earplugs before, but I'm doing exactly what you mentioned, recording myself to make sure my "outer voice" is going to match what my "inner voice" is sounding like...

Lol!!!
Thank you for these videos they've been really helpful! I just need to decide which model I need. I've started rollerskating at rinks but the music is too loud for me to enjoy myself due to overstimulation. I still want to be able to hear the music but just not so loud :D
You’re so welcome! I’m so glad they helped you out this much. If you can afford it, I would go with the PRO. This way you at least have the mute option. The Quiet may be too quiet for you. But the Experience might be the exact thing you need. Remember, the PRO is basically the PRO without the mute.
Let us know which one you decide and what color. I hear main people are getting the red nowadays, but I still love my black PRO’s.

Thank you for the information! Does using Loop Experience increase the “inside voice” (i.e. your own voice) when you speak? It’s something I always struggle with when using ear plugs, because of my sound sensitivity. Thanks!
Hi Yuri. Yes and No. I have never came across an earplug that completely removes inner head voice but Loop and Earos are the least effected. What I mean is Loop and Earos are the best if you want to REDUCE inner head voice the most.
I did a review on Earos if you'd like to see it here: ua-cam.com/video/XCxvrde9q48/v-deo.html

Hey, are the loop experience pro 100% the same as the loop experience, just with the mute rings?
thx for your videos on this topic!!
And it looks like your discount code doesn't work for me (tried ordering the pro from germany on the website)
Hi Dead2Tee. I’m so glad you like my video. You are correct. From what I’ve experienced, it’s the mute that separates them.
I’m sorry about the discount not working. I’ll reach out to LOOP and ask why that is.
-Michael
Hey Michael, thank you for all this information. I still have a question for you. In my case I work in an office with very talkative colleagues. My goal is to reduce the noise as much as possible so i can focus better on my work. But sometimes also listen to them but also in a noice reduced matter. Is it right that I than should pick the experience pro?
Thank you so much for your advice and greetings from germany :)
-Maxi
Hello my friend. Yes, in your situation I would go with the Experience Pro and probably not the need to mute option. But it’s always there in case I’m wrong. The mute option is HUGE! Does this help?
-Michael
Hi! There is a big difference between "Experience" & "Pro"? Because I have a pair of "experience" and I used them it on Tomorrowland, but I really noticed that when I use it, the high frequencies sounds lower and low frequencies sounds louder. I'm thinking to buy a pair of "pro" because I want to hear more balanced, but you could say that the pros will make a big difference? What about your experience? Thanks in advance!
Hi Franco. Great question. I understand what you're saying about the high and low frequencies. All earplugs and acoustic filters do that on some level. Loop is, in my humble opinion, one of the best out there despite this fact. I don't think you will find a better earplug out there.
That being said, if you are not happy with the low and high frequencies, I would NOT recommend getting the PRO if you are hoping to have a different experience with the highs and lows. I think you will find it to be very similar. The best part of PRO is the mute option (which is my absolute favorite part).
Does this explanation make sense?
-Michael
Hi Michael can you help me?
I work in an open space office (so I have different people closed to me).
I’d like to consistently reduce both ambient and voices noises to be more focused when carrying out my tasks.
However I wouldn’t like to be completely isolated from everything (for example if a colleague is trying to call me, I’d like to be able to notice it, even if his voice noise is significantly reduced).
So on one hand I want all the noises (of the voices as well) to be hugely reduced but on the other hand I would appreciate if I could be a little aware if someone is calling me.
Is that possible with the loop experience pro (with the mute filter on) for instance? Or the voices are too much high (even with the mute filter on)?
Because if with the loop experience pro the noises of the voices are still too much high, I would be disturbed the same (and in that case I would choose the quiet: I would be very isolated and not able to notice if someone is calling me, it’s true, but at least I would be focused when doing my tasks that it’s the priority for me).
I hope you understood the situation.
Thank you very much in advance for the answer!
Hi Alessandro. I do believe I understand your situation and I’m happy to help. I think if you have it in your budget, I would go with the PRO because if you use the mute option and realize it’s too quiet, then you can take the mute out. I do believe you’ll be set with the mute out. However, these earplugs are really great and you may enjoy it even quieter with the mute in and still here a colleague calling you.
If money is a little tight then go with the Quiet. Again, the only downside is there is not a mute option to remove there. I hope this helps.
-Michael
You said you could combine loop quiet and the mute for -32. According to their website and asking them on Twitter its a NO.
Hey Vlogging Peacock. I had one other subscriber write that about their website and it not fitting. So, I’m not saying that their site or twitter is wrong but I am saying that when I put my mute into the Quiet it’s noticeably quieter than without it. So, maybe because I was one of the first to buy the Quiet and since then they may have modified it a bit so that it doesn’t fit but for me it does. I hope that helps.
-Michael
They say on their website that it meant to be for only coloration/design.
Edit: it only blocks the hole on the experience pro and there isn’t any hole on the quiet one. Maybe the added weight/thickness changes the resonance frequency of it so it is a bit better feeling for you. But no, def. not over 30dBA.
Also you can calculate the true blockage amount by (X-7)/2 so only 10dBA for the quiet what is still a lot. :)
I have both Loop Experience plus and Loop Quiet. While I can easily fit the mute on the Loop Quiet and it does sound like it adds more I have no way to prove that. I assume if it did add an extra -5 db they would be advertising/marketing it rather than saying no, it's only for aesthetic purposes, as these have to go through rigorous testing before making any claims. I still use them on the Quiet's as I feel it sounds more muted so I'm more comfortable with it but when the company doesn't even say that I know it probably doesn't have much effect.
Thank you for this in depth review. Would you possibly be able to assist me? My son has noise sensitivity and is struggling in class. His teacher has suggested ear plugs, but I don’t want him completely unaware of what’s happening in Class. Which option would be best suited for him? Thank you.
Upon researching I came across these and they seem Much better than the conventional ear plugs.
Hi Leanne. You’re welcome for the video. I’d be happy to assist you. Please keep in mind, I’m not an ENT specialist or your son’s doctor and my advice should always be backed by a professional.
In my opinion the LOOP Experience Pro may be the way to go. He may not need the mute option but it’s there if he needs it.
And yes, these are so much better than conventional earplugs. You can still hold conversations and they are so comfortable that you forget you’re wearing them.
Does this answer your question?
-Michael
i have a question. I recently bought the loop experience plus and it came with the regular tips but also some foam tips. What's the difference between them? Is it just a matter of which is more comfortable or do they have a different function? :)
Hi Simone. It's a matter of preference and comfort. Which ones do you like best?
-Michael
Can you wear the quiet to a concert and still be able to hear stuff? I want something to sleep in and also use for concerts.
Hi Alexandra. While, you will still be able to hear th music, as a musician and music lover, I wouldn't want to use Quiet for the concert b/c it will just block out too much of the low, mid and high frequencies I'd want to hear at a show. I understand you wanting to only have one LOOP and not have to worry about switching them out. Can you do it? Yes. Do I recommend it? No. I would go with Loop Experience Plus for the concerts. Did I answer your question?
-Michael
I’m thinking of getting a pair of earplugs, primarily to help me focus at work and reduce background noise, but if it helps in social gatherings and with sleep too then that’s a bonus. I’m not sure whether I should get the loop quiet or loop experience pro. From what you’ve explained it sounds like the noise reduction is the same on both (with the mute on the experience pro), which makes me sway towards the loop quiet, but I think it’s good to have the mute option as well to adjust the noise reduction even more. Also I’m wondering if the loop experience pro can be worn in bed as well and if they’re comfortable to sleep with.
I would appreciate some advice here
Hi Finalninjadog: based on what you said I would go with Loop Experience Pro (now called Experience Plus for all the reasons you said and for the reasons I explained in this video. The mute is a great option. And yes you can wear any of the Loop products in your ears at night. Does that help?
-Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusicYes I think so. it probably makes sense for me to go with the loop experience plus as I work in an office on the phone most of the day, so could really do with reducing background noise whilst I’m concentrating on my work or the phone conversations. And the mute option gives me the flexibility to reduce noise even more. Thanks for your advice

Thank you for this helpful video :) I had a couple of questions - How often do the ear-tips need to be replaced? Also can I buy third-party silicone ear-tips or are Loop Earplugs only compatible with Loop ear tips?
Hi Anmol Gupta,
Thanks for your questions. Sorry for the delay.
I believe they said to replace the tips every 6 months on the website but I would use discretion. If the tips show wear or if they aren’t sounding as quiet, I would replace them then.
I am not sure if you can fit a third party tip with Loop.
Any particular reason why you would want to?
-Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Hi Michael, thank you for taking the time out to answer my questions. I really appreciate it!
The only reason I asked about the durability of the Ear Tips and the possibility of using third-party Ear Tips is because Loop does not deliver products to my country. (India) After watching your video, I have ordered the Quiet Earplugs (2 sets) via my friend who's returning from Germany soon. But in the future, it will be hard for me to order replacement Ear Tips unless a friend or a family member is flying down from a country where Loop delivers!

Your review is very interesting! I'm planning go to a show (front row - the band is Rammstein), and I was wondering which one I should buy between the Experience and Quiet? The band's DB go from 105 to 136 depeding if the venue puts some restrictions, and their music was literally heard even 11 miles away time ago. They also includes lots of explosions and pyrotechnics in their lives. Thank you!
Hi Kkotsin! Wow- Rammstein front row is going to be super loud!
I wouldn’t normally not recommend Loop Quiet for concerts but it I were you, that’s what I would wear. I’d also pick up 2 mutes in the accessory section. That would give you approximately -32 DB’s.
Does this help?

@@kkotsin ahhh. Yes some of these colors are really cool looking that it makes it a tough choice.
I believe you meant to say Loop Experience Pro/Plus + Mute is -23 dB instead of -27 dB. It's up to -18 dB without the mute just like the normal Experience.
Hi Kevin. Thank you for this question. You may be right because when I originally got these the NRR had a range of -18 to -22 and with the mute option it reduced an additional -5 db's making it -27 NRR. I am not sure if they changed the product at all but I do see what you are saying when I look at the current website.
-Michael
What do you recommend for when you are at the race track? As a racefan i of course want to hear the cars, but from experience they can be pretty loud. Also what do you recommend for noise sensitivity? I'm thinking about the PRO with MUTE but im not sure if that would be enough. Is there a big difference between the PRO with MUTE and the Quiet?
Hi Marc. I fully understand your question. Here is my answer:
The PRO with mute option is about -27NRR and the Quiet is exactly the same NRR. Without the mute it's approximately -22NRR. The advantage here is you can here more by taking the mute out of the PRO and the Quiet doesn't have that option. I think the Quiet is the way to go here for your situation.
However, like one of my subscribers mentioned in this video, if you do happen to have the mute option, you could put that in the Quiet and reduce the noise an additional -5 dbs equaling approximately -32 NRR. I just thought I'd throw that info out there for you. I hope that helps.
-Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Thank you very much for your awnser
@@marchuisman1720 My pleasure!
@@michaelmingoiamusic This is wrong. You are confusing SNR (european standard) figures with NRR (U.S. standard) ones. This can be clearly corroborated by checking the Certificate of Conformance in the amazon page of each Loop product, where there’s a link to it if you scroll down enough.

Hi Financially Goated. The number 28 never came out of my mouth… at least in this video lol!

Hi Mia. Sorry to learn this. My wife suffers from hyperacusis as well. The good news is she has found much comfort with Loop. If you need a little more quiet, you can always pop the mute in and that will help you even further. Does this help?

You cannot enhance the noise reduction of Quiet by adding the Mute ring. Loop explicitly states on its website that adding Mute does not offer any additional noise reduction when combined with Quiet, only aesthetic purposes. Do research instead of spreading false information and misleading your audience. Some might have even bought the Mute and thrown out their money in vain because of that.
@zizkany You are not the first person to tell me that you can't enhance the reduction with the mute ring on the Quiet. However, at the time of this video and with the product I have, you absolutely can. It's awesome!
If LOOP states that it can't on the website then, maybe they changed the design.
I am nothing but honest in my review of this product here and I am in all of my videos on my channel. Saying that I am spreading false information is far from accurate and I don't appreciate you insinuating that I am lying in any of my videos.
