Maybe plumbers/Electricians, but I work HVAC and we work no matter the weather, yeah when it's cold we're slower cause how the heck am I gonna work normal speed when I can't feel my feet/hands lol, but the plumbers/electricians and even carpenters are gone at the first sight of snow/heavy rain
I feel like whoever wrote this script has never played this game, let alone researched it's history of prior versions. Playing Farm Sim has nothing to do with the "characters" like grandpa, they're just artificial tutorial fluff completely ignored by anyone playing more than an hour. The mobile/switch releases have zero relation to the PC/console releases. As for who was playing while recording the video for this review, just wow, should have at least spent maybe an hour getting the hang of how to actually drive vehicles in the game. Also completely ignored the biggest game changer feature over previous FS22, the integrated steering assist.
Yet they did say correctly what they did, the game is in a really bad shape from a technical point. I have bought all FS titles but FS25 is the only one I ever regretted buying and refunded it. I had crashes, bugs, glitches, you name it. I will probabil buy the Premium version a year from now when the game will be fixed and it's potential reached.
@Zero4Infinitives I agree on the bugs. It's like they took 23 and added a bunch of crashes. Lol. Even the radio station has the same songs. Wonder if the staff is the same or a bunch of unqualified dummies.
The gameplay we endured watching this video 100% matched the script. Dude pulls his trailer up to offload his harvester, but instead of driving all the way to the harvester like a normal person, he parks 100 feet away, gets in the harvester and destroys 100ft of crop driving it to the trailer. "Hello, I can't even back a trailer without jackknifing it into my rear wheelwell... here's my review". He seems like the kind of person who stands directly in front of a TV with a remote, flipping channels, then sits down after he finds something to watch.
Considering before this he pulled a trailer up to offload a harvester, but parked 100 feet away, then drove the harvester forward destroying 100ft of crops to offload the cereal. This is why IQ matters.
My biggest problem with all of these games and this one especially is the driving. The equipment doesn't feel heavy at all, everything accelerate way too quickly, wheels turn unreasonably fast. Driving in the game is so unrealistic and not pleasant at all.
I wonder if there’s a DLC where you can buy farm land in the UK as a way of avoiding Inheritance Tax and then drive your tractor to London to protest against the Government.
Once again, you don't understand how the releases work. Platform is odd years, and the other versions are even years. They have messed up a bit on timing, but that's how they laid it out.
The pop in is awful. The graphics haven’t improved since the last game. Locked at 30 fps on console. It’s just not a very good game. No real reason to play if you already own FS22. 5/10
The pop in is real with this one and before a map is fully loaded it stutters a lot. But still, after it's loaded and you don't look too far ahead when driving due to pop in I'm enjoying my time so far
@@5hrimp_Nachos It's a franchise they release a new title to about every 2 years. There's never anything really that significant that sets the next one apart from the previous one, especially when you consider what the modding community makes available. It's just a little step up in graphics, and they incorporate a couple popular community mods into their base game. Then you have to wait months for them to work out the bugs, optimize it, and get a fair selection of mods ported to the new version. Other than an updated game engine, there's really nothing new about the "next" game that modders couldn't do for free.
I'm running the PC version on a MSI Claw A1M. Graphic Setting: Ultra High 150hz 4k resolution. Graphics are remarkable. Alot has changed. Tractor sounds, terrain and weather have got alot better. GPS works well along with AI so no more wonky furrows. You can even push the pressure washer around :)
I been looking around I was playing last night trying to cut trees, the quality of the trees is really low, and I kept having problems with the chainsaw as well I think they need to update this game asap n get the bugs fixed ,my opinion if you’re selling a game for over 60 bucks wouldn’t you wanna make sure everything’s 100 % ?
1:50 that tells me enough to know about this reviewer. Instead of driving the last few meters to get the tractor to the harvester, he switches and drives the harvester to the tractor, destroying crops on the way. lmfao
Don't use TAA. Keep DLAA on. TAA looks about as good as DLAA, but has a way bigger performance impact. I have my fps capped to 90 in game, so my fps is always at 90, regardless of settings, but that 90 was drawing SIGNIFICANTLY higher wattage with TAA. Actually, going from DLSS quality to DLAA at 1.1 sharpness, I actually DECREASED my wattage draw by 4% at the same framerate by using DLAA. I tried FSR3 and XeSS, and they both were the exact same performance as DLSS quality on thier respective quality settings. TAA was TERRIBLE for performance, and DLAA was the best. Visually all were very similar, so best to just go with DLAA, as TAA/DLAA prob had the best quality overall, and DLAA had the best performance. At 4k max settings, DLAA, 90fps cap, and render distance doubled by editing the game config .xml, I was always under 500w total draw through my PSU. Usually between 390w-470w, which is pretty low since that my whole PC draw at the PSU, not just GPU/CPU draw. Not even drawing 50% of my max wattage. Now, even though the FPS stayed locked to the set 90. It didn't feel that good. I'd get a random stutters now and then and feel almost like it was about to crash. Controls and menu functions sometimes felt delayed and unresponsive, sometimes my screen would flick black, and objects/environmental textures would flicker all white. So, the game is actually pretty efficient when it comes to rendering performance and resource usage, it just feels shitty cause something is broken with it. Between that weirdness and the lack of equipment and mods in game, it really feels like an early beta test, not a full release. Especially when you compare to FS22 and the the staggering amount of more content/features/equipment/etc it offers over FS25. Really, FS25 kinda feels like an overhaul mod and map, and not quite a polished legit release from a large dev studio. I feel that it has more total POTENTIAL than FS22, but it'll be 2-3 years before we see any of that. At least a year until it even rivals FS22. Honestly people, consider these Farming sim games to launch as early access, even if it doesn't say so. The games never really feel "finished" until like a year after launch, and when they drop the full year one content bundle. When the complete year 1/expansion edition launches, that's the point I feel is the REAL launch. So, just stick wirh fs22 until the FS25 platinum edition or whatever launches, unless you're cool with being an early access tester.yesterday. the "new features" of fs25 are just base game integration of mods that you can already get in FS22. There's nothing 25 offers that 22 doesn't, but there is a lot 22 offers that 25 doesnt.
Ever seen the prime tv show Clarksons farm. It’s funny. Can you do that in this game and be a really newbie to this and have fun trying. It looks so sim like real
I played it on my computer with a 4070 super and it was horrible... I got a refund. I thought it would be better with the PS5, but I'm not going to jump in on it. BOO
Thing is, they purposely half ass these games because they know modders are going to fix it and make the game even better and they don’t have to pay them
Graphics aside, theres nothing new that FS15 modded didnt have. and even the graphics are subpar compared to any other medium or higher budget games in 2024. the LOD distance is still pure garbage
The poor optimization issues made me ask for a refund today. Love FS22. Maybe they'll have fixed Fs25 it by next fall and it'll be worth the price then, because in it's current state it isn't.
The small circle of draw distance is hella annoying. AI can’t weed. You can’t harvest root vegetables as a single player. Fuel hardly depletes at all, yet vehicles will require repair after a full day of work. Game has a LOT of problems but is still enjoyable overall. I agree; can’t really recommend in its current state.
Step 1: Build your farm
Step 2: Bury granddad in a mountain of debt and play FS22
GIANTS added nonsense shitty tornadoes, but no shotguns to get rid of granddad.
"A.I. problems with workers not finishing jobs". That is not a glitch. -Paid workers not finishing jobs.. Now that is realistic! A true simulation!😆

Agreed. Very disappointing

Did they use AI to voice NPCs? There’s no way someone listened to that and was like yep that’s fine no need for another take
Ya wish they'd get that "day 1" update out to fix all the graphical issues...so annoying...and field 77 not working at all seems like
New IGN becoming already this channel , you didn't speak about seasons and how cool are them and the nice features they added.
