Sincerely! This is the best video in which they explain all cases of PLL, how to recognize it and solve it. My biggest congratulations and thank you very much! I hope someday you make a similar video regarding all cases of OLL.
Thanks man. I recently picked up the cube after many years and I used this video to re learn the algorithms I had forgotten :P there’s probably a couple algorithms in here that I have since replaced with better ones. Maybe it’s time for an updated video lol
Thank you for this. I found it easy to solve every PLL using these.. it only took me for 1 day knowing them and 2 days to completely using them. Thumbs up!
Same! I just watched the G perms part and said that they are easy just like how T, F, J and other PLL have moves in common but it ended up I'm still gonna use 2-look PLL.
Omg thank you sooo much! You're literally the only video which explains how to memorize the moves plus how to recognise the cases!! Thank you! You're awesome!!
For the Ua permutation I would use: R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R' For the Ub permutation I would use: R U' R U R U R U' R, U, R2 For these ones the 1x3x1 block would be at the back rather than the front. I think these are better! Try them!
Bro I learned all of my PLL algs from u about 2 years ago, and now again it popped up in my recommendations lol. Currently Transitioning to 3-style for 3BLD. Hope you have a great day!
6:04 - Could a better way to recognise the E permutation be that all the middle pieces match up and the edge pieces of each side are opposite colours (providing they are always the opposite colours)? e.g. the blue side has *red + yellow* (opposites) with blue middle piece matching. The red side has *blue + green* (opposites) with red matching.
Not that hard to practice cus i remember them all. Just remember one of them. Then move to the next one and so on. If not. Then have fun with ur f2l and the rest beginner method :p
Great job dude. In only 2 weeks I've memorized all of the 1 look pll except the gd, gc, and the four corner swap. Amazing channel by the way. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I have an Idea. Im not trying to be rude, I promise. It is just a suggestion, that will make your cubing tutorials clearer. You should put the algorithms in the description, and go slower while showing the algorithms. Also, you should say the algorithms too. Nice channel, by the way!
Great video! I hope you pride yourself on it! It made me several seconds faster on average. I commend you for being able to create such an easy to understand tutorial, and the diagram was an excellent touch!
Thank you so much i just learned all the 21 pll's in this quarantine and just realised this video is 9 years old🤔 Thanks a lot Now solving the third layer is really very easy❤❤
Don't use the JA Perm in this video, its too awkward and you can't do finger tricks with it. This is a much better alternative JA Perm: F2 L' U' r U2 l' U R' U' R2
Anyone know what to learn/practice after leaning full pll? I memorized all perms already, so I would like to know what next to learn to be faster. Better algorithms or f2l? Or full oll...
RB Koha It would be better if you practiced better F2L first. But that’s okay. I recommend doing better F2L first since your times would be alot faster. After you could learn full OLL since it is the hardest to memorize.
Thanks, this is a great video, I currently know the two-look PLL and I've mastered it, but I want to get faster, this helped me understand where I need to start. I just need some algorithms to get into these cases so I can spend time practicing on them one at a time.
Thanks for explaining. I did figure it had something to do with rotating it on the axis but I didn't know what notation says to rotate where or how. It's clear now, thanks.
6:30 (E permutation) the corners are opposite headlights, meaning red-orange and green-blue corners matched on one side. its a decent recognition tip. Like so others can see? Maybe?
@fisherconnell I learned it from a website, will I learned as much as I know now "Full Fridrich" Means you know 78 algorithms, 57 for OLL and 21 for PLL - as well as how to solve every F2L case (42) It also helps to solve the cross on the bottom and practice recognizing PLL cases. I average 30 seconds right now, and I know all 21 PLLs and I know F2L. if you know beginner method only, then you should improve very rapidly once you learn Fridrich
i got a question.. on both u a and u b cases theres two algorithms that u do holding the side thats complete on the back. im looking for those. do youvkno em? actually they the same to one another just the complete opposite. a b is solved doing just the opposite algorithm.. if u know em plz let me know i dont seem to find that info anywhere.
hey tech im in need of some help. Whenevr i try PLL i get a case not demonstrated here. i get to adjacent edges and two solve top layers. the edges are the only out of place. please respond
I do the M slice variant of U Perm, and my cousin taught me H Perm when I JUST started, and I use a very easy and short E Perm. My E Perm is z, U2, R2, F, triple sexy move, F’, R2, U2. I’m also learning PLL before OLL.
so i have 2 corners in the same side, (ex top 2 from front face) that are in the right place and the other 2 need to switch places, witch case i should use?
What case do I have if I need to change an adjacent edge, but with an opposite edge? (For example I need to change a red that is in the white face but in the red face there is an orange edge) It's in a 4x4.

THANK U TECHTOPIA YOUR ALGS ARE SO SIMPLE THAAAAAANKKK YOOOOU
After 11 years I am coming here to re watch this video. Thanks man, these are the only PLL Algorithms which i am still using

I wonder why there is no S perm...
there is

Thank you for making this video, after 8 months I am finally understanding the basics of PLL.

Great job dude. In only 2 weeks I've memorized all of the 1 look pll except the gd, gc, and the four corner swap. Amazing channel by the way. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD
please upload the full look oll PLEASE!!!!!! :)
You are the most helpful person especially when you mention 2-look pll
are these the fastest algorithms for speed cubing?
No
+techtopia do you consider yourself a cuber
+Shahzeb Ahmed there are somany algarithums and it is a opinon
+mandn3253 the cuber thanks
+Ignite Official no but one of the fastest coming in around 3rd place
I took me only 1 month to memorize all of them. Thank you for the helpful vid techtopia!

He does say the algorithms and put them in the descriptions in the Begginer's video.
Jagger Paine True. I was suggesting that it would be easier though. So you dont have to keep looking at the description.
I had to go back to this just to say thank you for the video. It really helped me.
How long did you guys memorize them? This is hard tho

You know, R2' is the same thing as R2. It really annoys me when I see that in algorithms.
Some people prefer some counter-clockwise rotation than clockwise rotation (vise versa) :D
Well yeah, but that's up to them if they want to use counter- clockwise or clockwise rotations. It shouldn't be in algorithms.
Kevin Shaik Its actually for speed uses
Yeah, but it's up to the cuber if they want to do R2' or R2. I always use R2.

learn 2 look OLL and full PLL before full OLL
Thank you sooooooooooo much ! I have added you to my favourites . Now I can do it in only 14.57 seconds !!! Thank you .
Don't use the JA Perm in this video, its too awkward and you can't do finger tricks with it.
This is a much better alternative JA Perm:
F2 L' U' r U2 l' U R' U' R2
L' U' L F L' U' L U L F' L2 U L U
very gut alg.! ist really easy to remember
What does I mean?
Lots o Sheeps Its a lowercase L, it means you turn two layers instead of one
***** It's finger trickable, I've been using it for quite a while rather quickly.
Thank you so much for making this awesome video! The PLLs are so easy to understand and the diagrams now actually make sense to me!
Lol I was looking for a case I had and I couldn't find it and it was because I put the pieces in wrong

I finally did it and learnt them! Thank you so much Techtopia!
When u are doing the algorithms, you are too fast (F perm).i can't learn at all
That's why the algorithim is on the screen >_>
Step One: Find the Perm you need.
Step Two: Pause
Step Three: Practice
Step Four: Rinse and Repeat
What alg do i use when i have to cycle four edges clockwise and swap the 2 corners facing me?

thank you man you brought from 2o's to sub 15!!!!!!!!
for UA perm if you put the middle unsolved edge facing you then execute:
F2 U M U2 M' U' F2
and if you have the UB perm, orient the cube the same way and execute:
F2 U' M U2 M' U F2
and its Ub perm
Oh, I got confused, anyway I'm pretty sure anyone watching this video can understand even if I did the algorithms the wrong way round
That Na perm. is convoluted. I don't know why you didn't mirror the Nb for the Na esp. as it appears in other PLL lists.
@VVilcord My bad, x is to rotate it away from you while x' is to rotate it towards you.
@AnotherBrickGuy Brackets are used to make the algorithms into smaller pieces and that should make it easier to memorize.
X means to turn the cube on the x axis. x is to turn the cube towards you. x' away from you (relative to L face).

what is t prime can you make a video on that
Very good u taught me clearly,thank u
4:32 when i do it it always becomes a h perm
Try from a different direction idk how to explain it
y do you need the x at the end of the e perm?
how do you get the camera to be like that in the middle?
@alex graham thats parity you have to take out the two pieces cause there is no algorithm for it
Where did you get the diagrams
