hello valve. i just wanna tell you thank you for making tf2 and it acctually got me into games, i remember playing 6 or more hours a day on a payload maps (always on defence playing all classes and having fun) , it is pretty much one of your largest games, but......when i saw how pourly u treated your best selling games........that wasnt fine by me, i started making server and plugins trying to make a part of a big update the community wants but its very hard without the devs helping their own game...please valve , please help you and your community make one of the best and greatest games ever.🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Hey Sharpie how about actually pulling your head out of your ass please lol, would the average consumer really want them to waste time on patching SFM (a niche tool, built on an old engine) or on making new games with their now finished source2 engine? i'd suggest you use compatibility mode or something and wait for these new games that will likely ship with a new SFM

To everyone complaining about the lack of Team Fortress 2 updates, just remember that the game is 13 years old at this point, meaning that current developers of the game have probably moved on to develop more ambitious projects or just left the company. Yes, it's hard to see a game we all love to be in such a bad state at the moment but sometimes you just need to let things go and move on to other games (much like the developers).
I've been playing TF2 for some time now, about 2 to 3 years now. I wish I could have been here earlier to experience everything the game had to offer, I'm a little late to the party, but at least I can say I was there. I still play TF2 and will continue to do so. I don't mind if there is no update, it may not be perfect, but if it was. It wouldn't be TF2.
fuck updates nobody wants updates they have to fix bugs and exploits the game is still filled with bots and it's only getting worse they can just tell someone with codding knowledge to write a filter for that and tf2.

We aren’t asking for a TF3, we want an update, for as much as I also want Portal 3, the state of Portal and TF2 as a whole are a lot different, online games require updates constantly, we have had 3 updates that did nothing but oppress F2Ps and haven’t seen a major update in 1005 Days

@jpc1918 have you worked with SFM? Animation takes times and the animation of Engineer picking up one of his building and carrying it to its destination could take like one or two hours, that's including problems that might occur during the animation (like the program crashing, little bugs and over all cleaning the animations) . Plus the whole program is outdated and needs an update. If your phones is broken when you buy it, you don't slap yourself in the face and say it's your fault. No, you go and pay somebody to repair it.
