For a band that is generally labeled numetal, they definitely held down the punk thing more than most other bands
A lot of 90s/2000s Nu Metal was kinda still punk sounding as is a lot of 90s/2000s Black Metal and before that Thrash. Definetely some 2000s Metal still sounded morelike old punk still than others.

Dude two things, first off time is shown like "2:10" not "2.10" second, I wouldn't have even caught it if you hadn't pointed it out. There's way better stick out bass notes or just stick out hold notes in general than that. Two just off the top of my head would be Mudvayne Dig, the third high note in the opening that played repeatedly. Next, After the Burial at 3:07 in the song "Lost In The Static" is way better and hits much more predominantly. Don't believe me? Go look it up and watch it, you can thank me later

This album is so much nostalgia, I keep forgetting how much this album actually influenced me. It's utter perfection, total synthesis of the best of 90s hard rock, funk rock, rap metal and alt metal etc

I thought they were nu metal at first and some songs do have a nu metal bass feel. But other songs like this one have a punk feel if this was considered nu metal I'd say this band and primer 55 were the best ones imo
