Great review. Fully agree, this is a perfect starting point to get brushless systems cheaper soon. Furitek will have to consider their prize system….
just remember at 59 that doesnt include a receiver but the furitek does at 90usd, and remember the furitek has built in on/off switch, plus removeable wires and smaller.
@@malcolmlester4585 Fully agree but competition has just started and that will help us customers… And for me, living in Switzerland, Furitek Systems are more expensive to purchase than Injora from China (customs, shipping etc.). So the prize difference for me is bigger.

17:29 True, got 4 fusion se 2 1200s 2 1800 plan to get 2300 next. As far as minis go after 3 mb100 time for this brushless combo for the ascent18. Thanks for another cool review.
Yep! I run the se in most everything! Unless it’s a comp style crawler with very limited space I’m going fusion every time!

Micro 2 in 1 motror/ESC? Finally!!! Hobbywing couldve done this already if they were paying attention, just shrink down the Fusion with the sensored 1626 combo to build off of.

Dont think so. Furitek has the app with is wayyy better and not many wires.

I wish I knew this was available. Recently put a Furitek esc and motor in my Ascent 18. Love the Furitek. But would have like to save some cash. I’ll try an Injora on my next mini crawler.

I'd venture a guess that they dropped the stock Traxxas connector because they recommend 3s for this combo and the stock battery is only 2s. Or you got one that wasn't packed properly. Or they packed one specifically for you and knew you don't want the Traxxas adapter.

@2FM RC have you tried out or heard anything about the 1.0 JConcept Fling Kings? It's been my dream to build a mini/micro mud truck since the first SCX24 came out, but as the years pass and more rigs and products get released my plans for the dream build keep changing haha. I originally was turning my FCX24 Max Smasher into a mud truck, but now with more of the 1/18 scale options coming out I've wanted to go with something 1/18 scale. I like the 4-link FMS does, but definitely a much bigger fan of Hobbyplus's portal axles over FMS's. And of course there's the speed issue since that's most of the fun when it comes to mudding is ripping through and flinging it everywhere, but also keep the build as much of a "budget build" as possible. What would you do or what is your advice for this project?

it is a good system and yeah its 59$ but you need to add a receiver that the furitek comes with at $90 and that power switch is way to big really . yeah the motor might be better than the furitek but i have had no problems with my furitek motors...touch wood lol.i am a huge injora fan as have loads of there stuff but they just need to refine it a bit and make the wires removable as well as removable switch, plus you get the awesome furitek app which allows updates etc, and will the injora esc fit on the side? as i know the furitek esc will.
What receiver do you typically like to use with the GT5 transmitter?
Not the best but definitely a budget upgrade. Furitek owns this segment with the torpedo setup

Not sure but I think it’ll need a different motor because of the way the transmission sits on that. Don’t think the diameter will clear.

Hey Matt, totally unrelated but did you get a mojave grom? You turned me onto them and I am thinking that may be my next rc purchase.
I actually went against what I told myself with horizon and gave them another chance on it. I preordered one as soon as they were announced. Paid extra shipping to get it in one day so I’d get it quick and then I seen several others getting them and mine still hadn’t shipped so I canceled my preorder. I’ll get one once amain has them in stock lol. They have them listed now but still says it’s a preorder when you go to place the order. So I’ll wait a bit longer on it

What do u recommend for chassis if can’t afford they good ones like mofo or I’d like to try one of mazz designs but they way out of my price range for the scx24

Hey did I hear you right this will fit in an scx24?
It will definitely take some work. A different motor mount & pinion for sure. They are working on an scx24 version so I’d say that’s the best thing to do is wait for the kit. I could make it fit but it’ll be a lot for people to piece together. For most it’ll be easier when there is a kit available to make the swap!

Yes all stock except I used the pinion that comes with the motor.

Injora probably didn't want to get sued by Traxxass by including a connector that would've probably been not original Traxxass.
Injora is in China and there basically safe. The amount of things Injora has copied (tires, bodies, wheel designs etc). The mb100 comes with a Traxxas battery plug. Could just be a cost cut thing, or production issue. Or they figure nobody is really running the Traxxas stuff when going brushless.
