@@chloeandmatthewtravel That sounds great. There are not many travellers who want to spend months in Malaysia. The last time Malaysia have foreign tourists spent months, in fact more than a year was when some Utubers were stranded in Malaysia during pandemic and lockdown in 2020. Recently last year, there was a Swedish couple who spent 9 months in Malaysia, of course the visa allowed was 3 months for each visit, but still, not many foreign tourists would want to spend time at one city and one county alone as there are thousands of places to explore for new adventure. Look forward to having you guys again in Malaysia. 😀

MYR75 for those two at Petaling Street (Chinatown)? You just got robbed. That would usually cost less than MYR30.

In the early 1800s, settlers of ethnic Mandailing decent made the confluence of the rivers Klang River and Gombak River as their settlement and referred it as Muara Bustak. Later, the collonial British changed the name to Kuala Lumpur.

You miss the Bukit Bintang, Pavilion Mall vibe dude. Especially Jalan Alor Night Food Market and Jalan Changkat Lounge, Bar and Night Club where foreign tourists spend happy hour. Not as good as Pattaya Street but at least there is a place to hang out from midnight until morning.

Hello @chea1111. We researched this quite a bit before we came to KL as we wanted to be respectful of the dominant Muslim culture in Malaysia. We apologize if you felt offended, but we feel we remained respectful of the culture and societal norms for Kuala Lumpur. Thank you for watching and we would welcome your thoughts on how to be more respectful as we plan to return to Malaysia!
