I appreciate how Bob Orton doesn’t take the “interview bate”
When he’s asked about JYD’s personal issues some wrestlers understood that you protected the business and that you as best you can protect your peers

I feel Hannibal likes to asks many questions that he personally wants to know or questions that everyone knows the answers to.

JYD was really over in Louisiana. He had the look and the charisma. Bob Orton was a great in ring technician. He had a unique understanding of the business and ring psychology.

Good memories. The first live card I ever attended was around 1981 in Eunice Louisiana. Bob Orton Jr and JYD were both on the card that night. Peace to all. Thank you for posting

Mid-South/UWF was a terrific territory. They always had tons of talent. Exciting matches. I remember Bob in Mid-South around 82-83. He was always so smooth in the ring.

People talk about Bret having the excellence of execution. Ace was just as good, if not a touch better, in the ring. He was a mechanic.

Is Orton getting Watt's mixed up with Grizzly Smith? And was the accusations about Grizzly Smith ever Proven? I have heard that he was strict to work for, but from what I've heard most of his Wrestlers couldn't make it out here in the real world if being on time was considered that horrible and strict to them.
