Nice view, brings memories of my only trip to the states so far. Should've purchased a digital cam or a video camrecorder in late March 2001 landing from Shiphol in even more beautiful weather with crystal clear sky - and yes I got the perfect side and windows with most perfect view of Manhattan.
Though the landing at JFK (and not La Guardia as here) was just a stopover to Buffalo (returned a couple of weeks later to NYC just before Easter), I purchased as the first thing in JFK Airport a NYC cap with the skyline including WTC. A year later during a stopover in Zürich Airport my NYC Skyline cap was stolen, maybe due do increased value. Think the value of the cap would even have increased today.
That sucks about the theft. Did you visit the twins?
