Such majestic beauty of the mountains and thrown in water and you have a piece of heaven. Definitely on my travel list. I can see why you would have to stop often to take pictures. Thanks for the amazing job you do. Cheers
Tusen Takk for this video. My Great Grandfather was born in Balestrand, Norway. My fathers family roots are deep in Balestrand and the Fjearland Fjord. I'm very grateful for your work & experience.
Rain or no rain, it all is so BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Thank you for sharing your journey with those of us that will never have the opportunity or health to be able to do it. Safe travels and God Bless and protect you.
An impressive video for a stunning landscape, depicted in a vivid frame with brushstrokes of snow, mist streaked with green leaning against the mountain... Excellent...
We travelled to Geirangerfjord in 2018 and fortunately had beautiful weather, and this was in early September. The views from the viewpoint and just breathtaking, and how incredible it would be to do it on a bike compared to doing it in a car, but my bucket list still has riding in Norway on it, so fingers crossed.
@@Got2Go Even though I live in Rome, I spent at least a week in the Dolomiti just for riding hairpins all day 🤣and with a GS fully loaded sometime it's demanding 🤗
Hi guys outstanding vid that is some awesome scenery that mountain road looked like a bikers paradise even in the rain very interesting and enjoyable love your channel Lea thanks for taking us with you take care and be safe cheers see you in your next vid 🏍👍
I live close to Atlantic road, 15 min drive from home. I see fjords and mountains every day, Nice video and good filming. It takes about 2 hours to drive to Trollstigen and 3 hours to Geiranger. To be honest, this makes me see that we are so spoiled here that we take all this for granted.
The next video will be the Atlantic Ocean road - you will recognize all of it then I guess 😁. And yes, you are super spoiled, it’s so beautiful in Norway! 😍
Thank you Lea for the spectacular views of the fjords of Norway. Despite the rain and obvious cold temps , you seem to have a very enjoyable ride on the twisty roads. Looking forward to your next posting. Cheers. Dan
Breathtaking views! Norway just went on my post COVID bucket list. Bellisimo ! Thank you for taking all the incredible footage....drone shots, rear cam view, forward view, and spectacular color editing. Beautifully done. Thank you for taking the time to share this footage. Made my day. Kam
You are very welcome! Great that you joined the journey - and I think it doesn’t matter if it’s a Ride to north cape or Africa or just exploring around your hometown - important thing is to get out there! 😁
UA-cam put one of your videos in my suggested feed this morning and now I can't stop watching them 😊 I've only been riding 6 years now and have the touring bug. It's quite an inspiration how you managed to overcome the challenges of COVID and planned a trip that's probably just as exciting as Africa! You reminded me of my situation where I cancelled so many trips this year, including a much awaited trip from the UK to the Dolomites in Italy. I've been there before but now I have my dream bike and wanted to do it again. Instead my friends and I managed to plan a last minute trip to the South of France visiting the Cevennes, Ardeche, Vercors and returning via the Route de Grande Alps, 10 days and 6000km later. This was a much needed trip and I feel quite satisfied that I was able to do what I love despite the circumstances. You have an amazing talent in preserving and presenting your beautiful memories, making them very viewable and thoroughly enjoyable. I look forward to continuing the series and watching more of your content. Hopefully we may meet one day on our travels. Ride well, stay safe and live life to the max 😀 @PritVader
Beautiful place ! congratulation for the editing. I think it's one of the best video I have seen. Images, music, your simple but enthusiastic description! well done. Can't wait to see the next one!
Stunning beauty of nature shown in very very best possible manner.. great job keep it up.. it's a visual treat for the viewers... Love the content and way of presentation ❤️ love from Karnataka,India
Thank you for having us along for the ride! It looks beautiful riding alongside those fjord’s despite the weather. We went Geiranger on a ship in June a few years ago, it was cold and wet then too🌧. Thank you for another great episode Leah.
That Must have been quite an experience too! People told us that we were lucky though - because normal Years it can get quite crowded by all the huge boats on the fjord - so I guess our view was a bit more „quiet“ than it usually is. 😁
@@Got2Go I have a photo of the ship in the fjord and it looks out of place it’s so big. I’d post it here if I knew how! I guess it brings money to the local economy but the fjords look better with bikes than ships 😀.
The addition of a riding partner permits some very interesting camera angles which include you in the shot, both fore and aft. Had you ridden solo, you couldn't include them. A nice touch. And the drone footage is breathtaking.
Yes I like the ones best from the go pro backwards filming on his motorcycle. Only problem is that he can’t reach it - so we always have to stop so I can reach over to start or stop it manually. 😁
Geiranger is amazing, I was there on my bike in August. You may have been to early or to late on tour. Early or late summer should be the best, according to other riders I met.
We were in the high season for motorcyclists - but you can always get unlucky with the weather in Norway. We must have been there around 20th of July. July unfortunately was very rainy - the locals said that it was indeed the most rainy July in the last decades... 🤯
Another fantastic episode lea and as always the filming was amazing. Shame about all the rain but it didn't appear to stop you getting some stunning recordings 👍🇬🇧
No that day was actually okay - as long as the rain stops every now and then I was a happy camper. But then there were as well days when it didn’t... 😒😂
Just want to say again how much I enjoy watching your videos. Norway seems a little cold and wet, but the scenery is stunning. And your commentary is always interesting and informative. But what I'm really wondering is, how do you enjoy riding the BMW R 1200 GS? How does it compare to your Honda Africa Twin? And is there any chance you may be switching brands in the future? I think that would make for an interesting video. Maybe just a quick vignette. Anyway, please stay safe, healthy, AND WARM, lol, and keep the videos coming ✌😊👍
I am actually not driving a africa twin - that’s the bike of my travel partner. I am driving a Yamaha Ténéré. And I will for sure make some videos about that when we are at one point reunited again and I have it back from Africa! Meanwhile: the 1200 gsa is Perfect for European roads, but I would never take it to Africa. Too happy and too many things that can go wrong with this bike. But I really enjoy riding it on tarmac and easy off-road 😍😁
Les neuf minutes quarante trois les plus heureuses de ma journée. Merci pour cette magnifique bulle de rêve. En prime, les commentaires sont tellement tranquilles et clairs, il me permettemt d'apprendre et comprendre un peu l'anglais. Be carreful.
