For those who are wondering how to create more useful filenames, like filenames according to your sheet. Go watch my new tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/2Gmn3BPJhE4/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for the video. For the most part it works. I only wanted to know that how did you brought your first map picture of Australia which is probably "Pixelvariable1" in the first place. Because whenever I try to bring my picture it opens in the next project not in the same project as I can work with the texts. This is the only problem i am facing. Thank you
Thank you for taking pauses and speaking clearly, and posting time stamps in the description. The pace of this video is perfect. Most tutorials are 3 hours long or 10 minutes of micro machines talking.
I had an issue with the .csv file from excel for years and I had no idea it was everyone else too until this video. This was a great tutorial and really helped me solidify my understanding of this process. Also picked up the skill for pixel replacement while I was at it. Thank you so much.
Hey dude, here I am again. I just wanted to thank you A LOT for this tutorial and for doing that research to help me with some brazilian names. I actually managed to make all of the invitations for each guest to my wedding party. YOU helped me so much! Again, thank you VERY VERY MUCH! And sorry for any mistake in language :)
Your tutorial is fantastic. Thank you. I was struggling with the instructions on the CC website and I was able to follow along and finally complete my project!
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing. I have a question, is there any way to get images directly from website instead of my computer? I tried to paste url in excel and try to import it but it didn't work.
thank you so much for this video! This has been immensely helpful! I'd assume this won't be possible with say an image within a Smart Object? Is there ways for doing that that you might know?
Great tutorial, extremely helpful and super fast and concise! I am though having a bit trouble with some of my images not being the right size after importing the data set, some variable images work fine while others gets smaller everytime I import a new version of the data set ... anyone knows why this happens?
A year later but I’ll answer in case someone else is looking for this. To do that you have to tick the option when importing the data for the first column to define the name of the data set. Then, when you export them, you will be able to select dataset name as a variable in the name.
Great tutorial. Can we do this via CLI tool bash/bat some fully automated way ? So you have the csv file and call a command and photoshop automatically generates the jpegs
Great tutorial, thanks. Is there any way to import pixel data seta and rotate the layers before export? My design has image layers that are rotated, but the source files are at a straight angle.
Great video! It is possible to create invoices using similar method? I wasn't so sure how to add multiple data in invoice such as description, qty, price and etc...
Is there any way I can have the exported PSD files named variably. To elaborate, I create a lot of certificates and I need the PSD files to be named as per the certificate-winning candidate's name. I tried the export option where it says "data value" but the exported PSD files are just named "(file name) data set 1",2,3 or simply "(file name)-1",2,3. Please help
hi, found your tutorial to be very helpful. thank you so much! i tried it once and itworked, but now, when i export data sets as files and click ok, the saving process overwrites the file on the folder instead of saving it with numbers, can you help me with this? highly appreciate your reply.
Hey Stranger Thank You. You saved me a ton of time. I'll pray for your health. One small question: I'm getting following error when I try to export as jpeg "The command Feather is not currently available". How can I get rid of this error?
@@PrimoTutorials I searched on Google and found the solution of this error. Photoshop have many default "Actions". I just deleted action named "Feather" and error disappeared. Thanks again. You saved me ton of time.
Thanks for this tutorial. Quick question. At 6:52 you say we must select the same folder as where the PSD files are created. Does this mean we MUST create a PSD file? I have no requirement for the PSD files, can I just export the JPEG?
Great tutorial. One question. If you you have a text file of numbers, like 1000, however, you need them centered from the center, for example 1000 is in in the middle of a circle. So when number 1 is printed, its natural place should be the center, rather than to the right. I'm sure there's a simple way for this but I'm having a hard time finding it. Thank you for this tutorial!
Is it also possible to write out 1 image and colors to multiple different psd files? For example a design with then different products like a shirt and a jacket.
Hi and thanks for this video. I'm getting this error... Could not parse the file contents as a data set. Data set 2 was incomplete. Can you tell me what this means and how to fix? Thanks!
thank you for your instruction, i have a question : i successfully do it with JPG but the variable images does not work with .png transparent background image, is there any way to do this?
This is a great tutorial. Could you tell me how to stop hyphens form appearing in paragraph text? I have it unticked in the paragraph settings, but they still appear. 🙂

Try going back to the original file before importing a new version. Might be because it keeps the crop of the imported dataset as new maximum size.
thank you very much you saved me a lot of time, very clear great video!

Batch export as psd and batch convert to .jpg
Hi The video is very useful. Can I know if there is an option to export as png instead of jpg as I dont want any background. Thanks in advance
You can do the batch action with export as... and choose .png
How can i make the path copied in order?? it always mess up the image
You could try to use Dirlister
Is there a way to save a separate pdf file for each document? Please help

Ah... simple I think. Make sure to have text center aligned, rather than aligned to the the right or left.
The right answer to your own question haha
Hi, Great tutorial! How can i save the files as PNG? thanks
You can do that by using choosing
'export as > png' as action in stead of 'save as > pdf'
Hi @primo you did not show for Png file? please can you elaborate on that....Thanks
Record your action the same as in tutorial. Except for saving as .jpeg use export as .png
Is it also possible to write out 1 image and colors to multiple different psd files? For example a design with then different products like a shirt and a jacket.
I dont fully understand your question? Nederlands mag ook ;)
Thank you very Much.. Long live..
Thank you very much, sir.
This is really an eyeopener.
But I don't see "copy as path" when I select my images
keep shift pressed and right click again
Hi and thanks for this video.
I'm getting this error... Could not parse the file contents as a data set. Data set 2 was incomplete.
Can you tell me what this means and how to fix? Thanks!
That could be because of any blank cells in your spreadsheet. You can type " followed by a single space in your cell when it is supposed to be blank.
Thank you so much brother
You're welcome ♡
thank you for your instruction, i have a question : i successfully do it with JPG but the variable images does not work with .png transparent background image, is there any way to do this?
I actually released a video today where I build NFT’s out of .png files. You can check it out on my channel.
@@PrimoTutorials thank man !
This is a great tutorial. Could you tell me how to stop hyphens form appearing in paragraph text? I have it unticked in the paragraph settings, but they still appear. 🙂
There is a text tool tutorial on my channel that might cover your question! Good luck.
thank you very much
Goed bezig, dude! Thanks a lot!
