I’m having an issue with my game when I try to add mods in the folder it doesn’t show up in game ;-; idk if the directory changed since origin switched to the EA app but very frustrating!! I can see old mods from when I previously installed the sims but when I redownloaded the sims game back on my PC with the EA app and tried to download new mods it won’t load them up!
hmm that's weird, the directory is pretty much the same, document--> electronic arts-->the sims 3--> mods--> packages. i found this article on reddit: www.reddit.com/r/thesims/comments/i3tdep/sims_3_cc_not_showing_up_try_this/ maybe try this and see because i'm not 100% sure why your cc won't show up. ALSO make sure the files aren't .Sims3Pack files. 🤔

I ditched the sims 4 for this, I played sims 2, but never 3, then it was on sale so i said lets go and now im never ever going back having SO much fun

reshade makes my game crash upon launch each time :(( but the other lighting and environmental recs u showed are so pretty and satisfying
yeah reshade can be really hard on your game, but i’m glad you find the other visual mods beautiful! 😌
