Family member is irish. Based on these videos alone we are having a biking holiday there next year. Then all being well moving to Ireland permanently within the next 5 years What a place
My family is from Galway, my mother wanted to name me Donegal. I ride out of Northern NJ...planning a trip within the next 2 years to take a motorcycle tour through Ireland, I've never been and think it would be the best way to visit the island. Thank you for this fellow soul rider...
Please keep up the great work The people and the irish country side are beautiful and that's coming from a Scotsman living in Australia must get back There is a saying how do you recognise an Irishman in heaven the answer is He is the only one who is Homesick enjoy the ride Thanks for taking us along Johnny gadget Melbourne Australia
Hi Dave, I really enjoyed that, the ambiance and pace were just perfect. Liked your choice of music too. It seemed like a chilly day, but no rain (or snow) but a nice way to explore without the traffic. Top quality production and interesting chat as always. Thanks.
Glorious scenery, Dave. Very much the type of riding that I also love to do on my old BMW Boxer, up in the Peninnes, over moorland tops, where you rarely meet any traffic, although not as wild and remote as Ireland. Glorious in summer, but can get quite bracing when the weather is rough with a strong wind blowing. It's what makes one feel alive. 👍
Once again I'm glad TMF mentioned you as I really enjoy you and your videos. Being in the States and retired I have plenty of time to travel from my recliner. Lol. Your country is truly beautiful and the solitude of that ride was epic. Thanks for the adventure. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
Dave, that was a brilliant start to the touring series 👏 thanks! Sure going to think about getting on a ferry this summer and doing a few days bike touring on the green island. Thanks again, ride safe 👍
Another Great video Dave ! I've done that pass, spectacular scenery as you say and show so well. If you fancy another spin to Donegal, you should do the Mamore Gap, which when I came across it first got the adrenaline going :) Best approached from the South East side, in my opinion, for a view of a very straight road that climbs up to the sky ! When you get to the top, there is a "Magic road" bit , which makes vehicles appear to be rolling uphill. Worth a visit and a future video hopefully. Regards, Colm
Such beautiful mountains! I ride in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina…it’s my favorite place to be in those twistys. Great video! I hope to visit some day…
Great subject for a video series Dave. My wife and I will be in Donegal next week. We are going back to Malin Head and following the wild Atlantic way south. We were in Malin Head in 2018 however we drove straight to Sligo and missed a lot of the passes and coastline. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Donegal is a lovely part of the country Dave with some great roads to spend hours on the bike exploring. Unfortunately the last time I was around there was over 3 years ago in the lorry going to Killybegs for 25tons of frozen Fish lol
Feck off, I'm already wishing I could get out on the bike more. BTW, I saw a small lego kit in the shop that used to be Heatons in Cavan. A golden motorbike and the rider had a camera on a selfie stick. Would probably look good on your desk 🤣
Hi there Dave me and the mrs just started watching your stuff , the work your doing it brilliant lovely relaxing videos done with a charm . Keep up the good work 👍👍
Perfect soundtrack to some beautiful scenery Dave. Ireland is definitely bucket list material but until I get there I’ll keep looking forward to future instalments. I really enjoy your presenting style matey keep it up.
Extremely well pulled together Dave, the still photos and drone footage along with the live footage really makes for a entertaining watch. Love your work and enjoy seeing your videos pop up.
Oh My Lord Dave what a stunning place you live in i really need to talk my wife int0 hoppin on a plane renting a bike and venturing to your part of the world , keep the vids coming Cheers Glenn.
That was terrific Dave...what an epic pass! I completely understand your feelings with regards to savouring the solitude and the beauty of a ride like this...I enjoy the company of riding with a friend occasionally, or going to a bike meet, but my truly happy place is riding and exploring these type of roads on my own ,lost in thought and lapping up the wonderful scenery! Hopefully back in the West of Ireland 🇮🇪 in a couple of weeks 🙏. Cheers Steve
We should get you on RevUp Dave, we used the Glengesh pass in our 2017 run & each year we try to bring people down the roads less travelled in Ireland 👍
Thanks Dave - looking forward to the rest of the series 👌 Spectacular scenery, like you I quite like the solitude of riding on your own - although riding in a group sometimes has its attraction 🤔, it gives you the opportunity to stop & go where you like (like Mr Vida says - take the road less travelled 🙂) Right, Off on the bike now !!🏍🏍👍👍
Brilliant Dave, great idea for a series, we are hopefully doing the pass at the end of the month, what direction did you go, N to S or S to N? Looking forward to the next installment.
Hey Dave, you said you moved to Ireland. By your accent I thought you were from Ireland. Then I listened a bit more and I think I detect a northern England accent every so often. Am I correct? Great video again really relaxing to watch.

Cheers Glenn. North to South in the vid but it’s short enough to do it a few times to take it all in. It’s worth it.👍
Hey Dave, you said you moved to Ireland. By your accent I thought you were from Ireland. Then I listened a bit more and I think I detect a northern England accent every so often. Am I correct? Great video again really relaxing to watch.
Yeah Jim you can take the man out of Newcastle but you can’t take Newcastle out of the man.…. 😉
@@WheelieGoodTV same here. I’m from birtley. I live in Plymouth Devon now but I’ve never lost my accent. 😂
How about a peice to camera saying Where the pass starts and finishes.
Good point.👍
