Great video! Oscar winners John Toll and Vilmos Zsigmond are very deserving for videos in the future!
Indeed! Vilmos is one of my favorite cinematographers.
Can you make a video about the Cinematography Style of Dan Mindel. I am always very fascinated by the way he uses the camera to create dynamic action and combine a lot of different frames in one shot.
This was nice! didn't know about until now! Thanks
Amazing video like always! I would love a video about Jarin Blashcke
Always a nice surprise to see the people behind something you've watched already - Loki looked so cool!
i was so hoping you'd cover this fantastic cinematographer! Another great episode.
I love your information! Thank you for making these videos! I like her work for sure but I am torn as a Black Panther fan and camera nerd LOL. I love her framing/composition/lighting in the films from a camera nerd perspective but as a viewer, I found some of the visuals a little distracting at times. The swirly busy bokeh and bowing/straightening lines (especially during panning) kept me from enjoying some scenes. Mainly because I watch films for enjoyment first, then to study and learn. I did really enjoy BOTH Loki seasons and the higher degree of consistency in the visual language made it very enjoyable for both my camera nerd and enjoying the series as a viewer. Thanks!
Please do a video on Claire Mathon!
Thanks for posting! I've become a fan of Autumn after her work on "Wakanda Forever." Would love to work with her someday!
Thank you for a great video! I've never seen a single one of the movies she's worked on. Seeing these shots however, makes me wonder about whether it's due to her or her directors that most of the shots are pretty poorly framed. Again and again they're flat and uninteresting. The shot from Mainstream at 09:09 stood out to me as something that would've had potential had the blocking and/or angle been a little bit more inspired. Sorry for sounding like an old man here, but Billy Wilder just never would've let something like that slide :)
Great episode 🔥
Could you make a video about cinematographer Henry Braham, please.
Great video.
Check out Warwick Thornton’s work - recent winner of ASC Spotlight award. Would be great to see a video on him as a triple threat writer/director/cinematographer. Love your vids!
I’d love to see a Robert Richardson video
Shane Hurlbut is a pioneer, you should 100% do one on him. Also another dop that has a great philosophy on cinematography: Chayse Irvin.
Not enough people are talking about the female cinematography talent in the industries right now, props for doing so.
Yeah there is a lot of Stellar female talent out there. It’s great to see a breakdown of her work
Well can you talk about some female cinematographer?
@@jangdi.Jessica Lee Gagné is my current favourite, her compositions and lens choice are very good
This channel does quite frequently.
Sorry to sound like a newb/novice but could you please do a Filmmaking terminology so that I can understand them at a basic level. Thank you.
Shehnad Jalal
Madhu Neelakandan
Roman Vasyanov, please

Honestly she's using the 2.2*1 aspect ratio wrong. Thats for like Laurence of Arabia stuff, and she's using it for closeup singles.
All the scenes in this video are horribly shot, this is a terrible cinematographer
Enjoyed this slice of BTS geeking. Panavision T Series are my all time favourite lenses. That is all.🤍
