Hi Dara & Bill. I just got my first bottle of WT Rare Breed due to your suggestion Dara. The closest I have in my collection is Russel's 10 year which is delicious. This Rare Breed is very good. Nothing but good coming out of it. It's a total thumbs up and glad I got it. I've only had George Dickel 13 year and also find it very good. Nothing bad comes out of it either. Wow you sure did make this one sound tasty. Thanks for the fun review!
First question: Does it have Dickel in it? I wasn't sure from the review, lol. 😉 Second: I liked Bill being in on the review. You two have become a featured Whiskey Duo, after all.
Orphan Barrel does Scotch so "it's all Dickel" is one weird comment. Bulleit, after it was bought by Seagrams before they sold it to Diageo, moved their production to Lawrenceburg KY. Note that it's the town in KY, not the town in IN. The town in KY is the location of Four Roses, which is what has traditionally been the distillation of Bulleit. Yes, that's the Bulleit mashbill despite being distilled by MGP.
If it was $120 id bite. At $225 thats far more than im willing to go, especially at 90 proof. Not opposed to 90 proof but if i would spend that id be taking a magnus cigar blend instead
Great review and I couldn’t agree more. This Orphan Barrel is a must have.
thank you for this review and I picked up two bottles of it at Costco at a very decent price. Loved the review.
came up a great name for a show like yours.... the eavning booze..
Saw it at my local Costco yesterday. Never heard of it b4 that. $200 price tag.
Glad someone else is recognizing it's not dickel. People are mis-reading the label. How do you compare this to elijah craig 18?
Bevy's has a pick from Peach Street Bourbon (Palisade, CO) that is just Good! 92°
Love the video! Never paying 200 for a 90 proof anything. Too much water
Good, more for me, lol

Nice
I like the double review! Definitely separate scores though. 🙂
I have many of the Orphan Barrel releases and they are all 80/90% full to this day. It's off my Tater list for good. Just not my jam!

Put some pink highlights in your hair style
I would probably love it, but the price tag is a bit much for my palate.
My local store has all the Orphan Barrel’s and the Indigo’s Hour is $199. I have not bought any of them. 🥃

Reviews are better with just Dara. I like Bill but the review videos are better with just you.

18 year old Kentucky Tavern? That tastes like Cream Soda to me. Cheers 🥃
She was not feeling the notes you were putting down Bill
Sounds like you get some Dickel frustration, but a little different than most, lol.
Way over priced 🫣
