Bear’s Den songs are always so serene and sentimental. It puts you on such emotional mode and gives you peace of mind, that there’s hope and everything’s gonna be alright. ❤️

I'm the same. I've been a Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst fan since 2002 and he has a line in one of his songs where he says "the sound of loneliness, makes me happier". I'm not a depressed person and haven't been for 15 years, but there is something about this kind of music that I'll always love.

I don't think I've ever thought of their music as depressing. Sometimes he sounds like a cynical romantic. And I like his lyrics because they're a little challenging. Which is a good thing.
