Bear's Den have got me through some insanely bad spells of anxiety, I used to be in a touring band and now i can't even bring myself to look at a stage never mind get on it. Those bad nights, headphones in, Bear's Den and everything is good again.
The feels this song gives, I swear so otherworldly but hits you exactly where it supposed to.. Another gem which will keep me crying and laugh at same time for weeks... You guys are the only ones who bring calmness in this chaotic lives of people like us.. Thank you so much..........
If people know one thing about me it's that you guys are my favorite band since I heard Agape my sophomore year of highschool, I'm now a junior in college falling deeper in love with every song. Lost my shit y'all I didn't think we would get more so soon. You guys are amazing
I sing this to my dog when we go on our long walks up the Campsies, by the Auld Wives Lifts and off round Mugdoch Country Park. I also know your uncle who lives in the Mill House in Baldernock. Lived just down the road all my life. I really dig this track guys, its my absolute favourite.
Something about the sound on this, it feels more pure than previously, could you run with this for future albums? Love your music as always and will buy what you make no matter what. Thank you!
There's so much to unpack in this song. lt's beautiful, obviously very personal, but so relatable. Also, his voice is so warm and comforting. I feel privileged to have been a fan of these guys for a lot of years now.
Almost cried hearing this on Greys Anatomy... fantastic to finally hear you on mainstream tv...amazing artists...can't wait to see you live again...doubt it'll be back at Liverpool O2 academy though! 😍
I listen to your songs at sea. You guys still make quality music, and have been for a while now. You are one of my favorite artists, and will be for a long while.
Let's go! Totally a day-maker when I stumbled across this single. I've seen y'all live twice now. All three albums are wonderful in their own ways because of the way you tell stories. Whatever kind of sound and style you guys go for or experiment with, I'm here for it. Keep up the amazing work! Thankful for your dedication to your craft, and I know many others are thankful for your music too. Cheers.
I have just found out that you guys were making music as far back as 2013 and I just found out about Bear's Den last year (2018). I'm really glad you're still making new music. More power to you guys! ❤✊
Holy fuck. Hell to the yes. Looks like I got my month planned out. I'll have this memorized in a week or so. Then listen to it endlessly. It will become part of my soul. Just like the rest if them. :) Nothing like listening to a new Bear's Den song for the first time. Only happens once. ahhhhhh
Lyrics I went home And I stood in the garden looking on At where my dog used to reside Oh, and I started thinking about your eyes Deep water And I'll walk in And I'll cook with my mother once more And she'll peel the onion And she'll ask me why I never call Why my pride only arrives before I fall Oh, the man that I was And the boy that I have become I wanna run Just like the times before And the times before I wanna run Down that ancient corridor And you'll say "Where do you go wandering? Where do you go? Where do you go wandering?" Well I, I am the only son Of the falling snow When I get home I'll throw my arms around my sister And let her know That "I'm sorry I missed your birthday" And I know that you raised me and all But we both watched that wine glass fall Oh, the man that I was And the boy that I have become I wanna run Just like the times before And the times before I wanna run Down that ancient corridor And you'll say "Where do you go wandering? Where do you go? Where do you go wandering?" Well I, I am the only son Of the falling snow Yes I, I am the only son Of the falling snow
You guys are still criminally underrated.
Leave it that way, I don't want to be popular, that is where the magic is all for ourselves ❤️
Artists and bands are better when they're obscure

Good advice I had, “no one cares as much as you.” Even if you flop, you can learn haha. One life, use it. Hope you’re well
I heard this song on a funeral for the first time, 2 months ago. Thank you for this great song!
The more I listen to this band the more I want to .....

Seymone Me too, me too.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ Agape is also the first song I heard.
I‘m getting back the Islands album feeling
Agreed. Less synth is very welcome.
@@wilfbiffherb I thought the synth was pretty nice. It's one of those synth songs that got me to listen to Bear's Den :o
@@hughmungus2551 same, but as I've got to listen to them more I am starting to enjoy the older ones much more..
I wanna cry, just like the times before and the times before...

This sounds like an open fire, Christmas and a glass of dark rum.
Lloyd Elliott and spookily an autumn day, a harvest moon lit night and a glass of cider.
This song is a holiday.
@@thartwigbut it's about death and loss.....
and i wont forget my loved ones who have passed, especially during the holidays when i would have seen them@@HockeyJock
Brilliant band watched them in Cardiff last week.
Can’t believe they are not a bigger band .

Lyrics
I went home
And I stood in the garden looking on
At where my dog used to reside
Oh, and I started thinking about your eyes
Deep water
And I'll walk in
And I'll cook with my mother once more
And she'll peel the onion
And she'll ask me why I never call
Why my pride only arrives before I fall
Oh, the man that I was
And the boy that I have become
I wanna run
Just like the times before
And the times before
I wanna run
Down that ancient corridor
And you'll say
"Where do you go wandering?
Where do you go?
Where do you go wandering?"
Well I, I am the only son
Of the falling snow
When I get home
I'll throw my arms around my sister
And let her know
That "I'm sorry I missed your birthday"
And I know that you raised me and all
But we both watched that wine glass fall
Oh, the man that I was
And the boy that I have become
I wanna run
Just like the times before
And the times before
I wanna run
Down that ancient corridor
And you'll say
"Where do you go wandering?
Where do you go?
Where do you go wandering?"
Well I, I am the only son
Of the falling snow
Yes I, I am the only son
Of the falling snow
