If you’re suffering from sleep paralysis and it’s a new thing to you, it’s scary af, for sure. But if it’s a chronic thing for you it becomes nothing relatively fast.
I’ve had sleep paralysis for the entire 41 years I’ve been alive and I rarely miss a single night without an episode. But at this point I’m used to it, it doesn’t bother me.
This is prob uncommon but I even look forward to it. I’m very into horror movies so maybe that’s why but I love catching that jump scare when I awake and can’t move so I scan around w my eyes and boom, there he is greeting me w a small but noticeable dose of adrenaline. It’s my own personal, real life scary movie jump scare.
If this is a new thing for you, don’t worry about it. It’ll either go away or you’ll get used to it and it won’t be a burden anymore.

From the paranormal tv shows I’ve seen, ghosts usually tend to want people to notice them without hurting them. A living human intruder on the other hand wants to remain unseen right up to the moment they don’t, and then it’s too late💀

I'm gonna be a contrarian and say that paranormal stories scare me more _in theory_ because assuming some of the stories are true, they are more frightening because of the unknown forces that are dealt with. We can know about humans and arrest them, but we cannot understand these forces.

That story with the knock seriously made me jump. I have had a few paranormal experiences in my life. They don't scare me too bad because ghosts can't hurt you, they are just annoying. But a room I used to live in I had a few nights where I would hear a knocking on my bathroom door that was inside my room with me. I was the only one who lived there so there should be no way that someone should be knocking. Every time it would freak me out until one night I was sick and in a bad mood and I cursed and sweared at the 'ghost' that was doing it and it never happened again. The knocks sounded just like that in your video.

The second apartment i lived in was apparently haunted. I always felt like i wasnt alone and an uneasy feeling, multiple people i had over said the same thing. One day, my girlfriend, who is now my wife, was taking a shower while i was in the kitchen. Suddenly she yelled out to me in an annoyed tone. I came in to find out what was going on and she was accusing me of pushing against the shower curtain and at one point she saw my hand reach inside the shower. I told her i was in the kitchen. Took a minute to convince her of the truth but eventually it dawned on her what happened. I personally never had an encounter though which is why i stayed there for awhile longer before leaving when we got married

I get auditory hallucinations on occasion, usually caused by stress I think. Biggest offender is thinking my phone is ringing from the other room, only to check it and see there were no calls. I think this was caused when I was anxious about getting called into work on a day off. Last year while I was working at a grocery store, on two separate occasions and in two different parts of the store, I heard a very very loud train whistle when there were no tracks anywhere near the place, and once heard a very loud phantom dog bark.

I can confirm as well. Back in 2002 my grandma bought a house she knew had a really dark back story. She got a great deal on it. Things didn't start getting wild until my grandfather and cousin went up in the attic and rummaged through the old owners belongings. It started as voices, progressed to physical violence towards me (I was an adult) and then manifested into a physical presence. My grandfather and cousin heard the voices at night. I didn't live there and my grandma worked 3rd shift..I felt the physical presence, I was actually pushed across the living room into the dining room. I was there with my infant son and grandma was asleep, no one else was home. My grandma saw the entity during one of her nights off from work. Most people who work 3rds stay up even on their off nights. Once she saw it she put the house up for sale. She owned the home exactly 12 months. After she moved out it turned into a rental, no one stayed long and it eventually burned down. The family's back story is so tragic it's almost unbelievable. The only reason we know it to be fact is my grandma was a crossing guard at the elementary school across the street and witnessed when a teacher ran over and killed the old lady homeowner. Her sons both died tragically, my grandfather's niece and nephews were friends with them and used to party. They grew up in that neighborhood together. One brother owed a drug dealer a significant amount of money (for heroin). They shot his veins full of battery acid and dumped him back at home dead. The other brother took a bunch of drugs, tied a grocery sack over his head and died..the mother found him when she came home from church. Shit was crazy. That house was evil AF. The brother's bedroom had red pentagrams painted on the ceiling..just wild AF.

@@artwithcaticornyt Too many to write about here in detail but in short, I once lived in a haunted house that my father bought at a very good price due to the death that occurred prior to us living in it… the other times had to do with the location and furniture, they weren’t scary, they just showed themselves and that was about it. Then another time, I went and played with an ouija board and wished I hadn’t.. all I’ll say about that is.. they are very real with the right people & I’ll never touch one again. The ouija board was long after the other incidents. I am sensitive to the paranormal so the ones prior to that came looking for me, not the other way around.

Regarding the "Hallucination" story: Some sleep disorders can appear or worsen when you're exhausted, and hallucinations when you are coming in/going in of sleep are quite common. As in, so common that sleep doctors often ask about them in routine screening questions. They're not an indication of psychosis, they're just your body going into "dream" mode too early. The guy shouldn't be ashamed of this experience or associate it with drug use or psychosis.

I have a little scary story
I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and everything was fine, my dad was home taking a shower while my mom was working and my brother was in his room playing his game..
Now we do have cameras in our house but as I'm cooking dinner, I hear my name
Clear as day..now as I said we have cameras so when I heard my name being called, I stopped and looked around with a confused expression on my face..I looked at the camera and basically spoke to it
(The camera that we have in the kitchen has the ability to let you speak into it) so at first I called out to my mom thinking she called me through the camera..but I didn't get a response so I figured it wasn't her because she was working..and the voice didn't sound like my mom, it was a female voice..so therefore it wasn't my dad or my brother..so I'm looking around trying to figure out where that voice came from
Now idk if it was paranormal or it was in my head because I hear voices all the time so I could be losing my mind
Afterwards I didn't hear anything else so I just went back to cooking dinner
Idk if it was in my head or it was paranormal related..

I’ve seen someone or something standing on the kitchen when I was like 9 years old. It wasn’t my parents or my younger sister because they were sleeping already and my younger brother was also asleep. And my oldest brother was out late with friends. It was probably the most traumatizing thing ever.
