    Underrated running back for sure. When he 1st came into the league he was Cat Quick, slasher type runner, but as he got older he adjusted his running style to that of a power back, and that was impressive. 2nd best "O.J." running back that ever ran the rock in the NFL.

      Christopher , I’ve often said the exact same thing about his style adjustment. And he was great and effective with both styles …..an amazing slasher as OJ Anderson and a more patient power back as Ottis Anderson

    Thank you for uploading this great highlight reel of OJ Anderson's runs! I also really like the accompanying music. I'm so glad that OJ won the Super Bowl MVP late in his career--well deserved!

    I remember watching him as a kid great running back playing for those lousy St. Louis cardinal teams, but he finally got his due when he went to the New York Giants and won a Super Bowl

    Big Powerful And Fast 6-2 230 9.45 100 yd dash.Imagine him with The Giants in his early years.

      He had good speed for his size, but not that fast dude. 9.45 would make him significantly faster than Tony Dorsett who had the Superstars record with a time of 9.57.

      Where in the hell did you get that he ran and 9.45. You have said some pretty crazy shit, but this has to take the cake. You are just wrong. You are incredibly stupid wrong. Newsflash zippy, Roy Green, couldn’t run a 9.45. He was significantly faster than OJ

    My 5th favorite Tailback of all-time right behind Eddie George. Majorly underrated. I'm glad for as great as he was for all those years on a losing team, he finally got his ring 💍..he's also one of the absolute best players in Tecmo Superbowl 🏈

    Awesome highlights! What a talent. He reminds me of Franco Harris with better vision and elusiveness. This OJ had juice, too!

    It was one of the most shocking things i had ever seen watching a football game. When Anderson was with the Giants, they were playing the Jets. A Jets offensive ball carrier went out of bounds on the Giants sideline and he went down. Anderson and two other Giants were stomping a new asshole for him. They were kicking and stomping on him. There were a few Jets players by the sideline but they just turned and walked away. They didn't run in to pick him up like most offensive players do for a ball carrier if they get tackled. They knew this dude was there but they turned around and left. I thought i was going to see a melee.
    The announcers even were talking about Anderson kicking and stomping that dude along with the other two Giants. There were no injuries from that from what I recall either. The whole series of events blew my mind as to how it all played out. I don't think Anderson got into any trouble about it either.

      In a 1986 preseason game the Cardinals were playing the Bears. A Bears player went out of bounds on the Cardinals sideline, the entire Cardinals team kicked him on the ground for like a minute straight. The Bears were coming off a Super Bowl and the Cardinals wanted to prove how tough they were, after every play 3 Cardinal players would dive in for a late hit on the ball carrier.

    Frank Gore, Edgerrin James, and OJ Anderson are the best three running backs that ever came out of the University of Miami, Florida.

      Seriously. It’s football. Nothing dirty about yanking a dude down by his shoulder pads.

    How Did the Cardinals Trade This Cat to A Team in Its Same Division?

    • @MeIn321
      @MeIn321 Рік тому +2

      Because he had a lot of mileage and no offensive line. The Cards were abysmal at this point. He didn't have to carry the load for the Giants.
