New workshop with new toys!

- After all the great interest and orders we received for our instruments, we decided to dedicate a part of our old workshop just for making them. Hopefully this part of our business will continue to grow and expand. Area where I used to sand blast and was used as storage for our briquettes was repurposed. One wall was turned into spray booth with filters to level up the finishing. We also decided to invest in tools and machines we needed for the job and also in a new precise cnc . Robots are great for what we usually do, wooden structures, tables etc. but for extremely precise work, we had to step it up a little..

Usually I do not care for the music chosen by UA-camrs. You, on the other hand, have great taste and provide a very eclectic, mix which I always enjoy.
I do hope there will be robot videos in the future. Especially the ones with chainsaws.

Glad you like it! I thought about making one every so often.. We always listen to music in the workshop so copyright is an issue for such videos, but working in silence is not bad every now and then..

The Rupes polisher is a wise choice, not so much the Dremel with their cheap nasty "spindle lock" button, new toys are always welcome, and deserved of course.

Pure drama watching the CNC just getting through that opening! And think of the bodies you can make. Awesome! I like the classical to the housebuilding and stuff, but this was ok too.

What brand is the planer? Looked a little different from all the ones I'm use to seeing.
Yes we waited for it to arrive for half a year and it is finally here.. So far it is great:) The planer is Metabo.
Wish I had the money to buy toys like that.

It took a while until the decision was final and now there is no turning back. We have a lot of inquiries even when I haven't posted a guitar video for a almost a year now so I think we are on right direction. Thank you very much for your offer! I would love it and I'm sure it will find it's place in one of our guitar projects. I'm sure it would look great with a precious wood like that.

I don't know, I'm thinking about retiring one of them which made much more work and buying a newer one. Hope the other one wont be sad;) About the music, don't worry, videos with it will always be a majority:)

Nice to have some normal size tools in the shop! I like the little sander. The CNC is ginormous! I am sure you will put them all to some fine use! This type of video is perfect as well! Little trivia...did you know that lignum is Latin for wood? I am sure you do.
I might have known;) We waited for it for half a year to arrive, and it is working with full force already. We love it. Glad you like this kind of video also, but Mozart will still be my favorite;)

I do like the lack of the normal soundtrack and the sound of what you are doing. Thanks for the subtitle narration too. Your "robots" are going to be jealous of that nice CNC with the ATC.
Thank you for your input:) They sure will get jellous. Although majority of work will still be done on them, actually almost all the background buzzing in the video is them working! But that ATC is a wonder, I can't believe we managed without it so far..
@@lignumchannel That's the thing..."right tool for the job". For the guitars and other smaller projects the new CNC is the perfect tool. For all the "big work" you seem to do, those robots are truly excellent. Thanks so much for sharing your endeavors, both for the business and for your home build.

What was the trade off with Mrs Lignum? Although, your house build is stunning so I guess she is happy with the " business " expenses foing up a bit .😄😄😄 BTW. personally I like the music as your videos don't need talking, you have a great gift to explain everything in the vision so the music all that is needed. No music is ok sometimes but personally I like your format with music better. It gives more depth vs simple editing.

Be very careful with the buffing machine, it is the most dangerous machine in the shop.
Ask an oldtimer if he can instruct you about safty. At this size it,s a killer.
