Idk who you are or even how did this video appeared in my feed but let me tell you that your advices cheered me up, I've been struggling for a few months, i wasn't even enjoying doing sketches and all this by putting too much pressure on myself expecting all to be perfect and seeking approval instead of letting it flow and enjoying the ride. Thx my guy.
ps: English isn't my first language so i apologize for the typos
That's awesome to hear that you got some motivation from it. I struggled with The same thing a while ago too. Im glad I could help a little (:
Great video man! I think I'll finally draw something for the first time in months now lmao. The idea of just drawing something and looking it up as you go is something I'm definitely going to start doing. There's this limiting belief that I've recently been aware of that I have to know how to draw every aspect of a painting before getting started. Again, really awesome video! I hope it helps others too.
Thank you for watching, im glad I could help a bit with The video. I totally understand your struggled. Thats why I kinda wanted to share what I have learned (: have a Nice day!
Coming across this video filled me with determination. Thank you! Let's improve together
Awesome to hear! Yeah, always trying to improve is important!
Really needed to hear the "Believe in yourself"
Thx for kicking my imposter syndrome's a.s.s. with that
I'm glad it helped! Sometimes all you need is to hear someone say it (;
Thank you, I feel like your advices are so much useful than many other artists telling you to study all the time :D
That is very Nice to hear. I feel like studying is good but it can take away all The fun in art if you so it too much (: keep painting and have a Nice day!
Thank you for watching, hope you have a great day!
If you have any video ideas for the future leave a comment!
Your art this time, seem like a Riven (league of legends) to me. Your video this time, reminds me of my super hero girl (joke) " Elizabeth Holmes " :
first they think you're crazy then they fight you and then all of a sudden you change the world. (cause the level of confident).
I would put it this way: first your mind think you're just doing drugs/crazy, then it fight your ideas, then all of the sudden you became an artist.
Damn thats a lot haha, but thank you! It is Ciri from The witcher but it does look a bit like riven now when you say it haha (:
this is the realest advice ive heard that i needed, thank you
That's great to hear, I wish you the best of luck with your art journey!
Hey man just come across you and got a little bit interested. I tell you what, I was satisfied with what you have to offer. Subscribed!
Thank you very much! I appreciate it
@@Sisoou Don't mention it man, ur advice really is helpful for folks like me when getting burned out by drawing. It's like what they always say, a complex problem often times have the simplest solutions. Hearing ur opinion about drawing is a good wake up call for me to actually put on the work more than studying the theories often.
@@savvysod8995 Im happy to be able to help a little! 😊
OK. Life is like a game, maybe like darksouls or cod anything. But in those games there is a goal, a goal to finish the game and GET GUD. Maybe apply that energy on drawing. I'm actually trying find a way to stop procrastinating cus I want to Get Gud at drawing to just have fun.
Is see it as dark souls, life is hard Haha. It is Kinda good to see it as a game as you are saying, I like using that technique sometimes too
@@Sisoou Yeah. The grind is real
I have simple table but it won't stop me from drawing, doesn't hurt to waste at least 1hr for practice right?
Also drawing while listening to a sabaoto music. Rock gives me some energy to just go forward.
I have a laptop and a phone. One for keeping me company by music or episodes, and the other for references
@@H1dront390 that sounds Great, you really dont need that much to do art. I also usually listen to stuff while drawing. It can give some inspiration!
@@Sisoou I don't need to do much. But it's Saturday so nothing to do. I even made a checklist
Morning 1hr of drawing
Afternoon is shapes, shadows, and perspective.
And at night weather bad or not, make a finished art.
Thanks for the reply though it gave me a slight motive enough to get back up and say " F*ck this, gotta practice now".
@@H1dront390 Awesome to hear! Go get those art GAINZ!
0:16 nice wlop impression kind of
Thank you, yeah it was a style study of Wlop (:
i believe its mostly the Mindset that matters when taking on anything.
Yeah, that is true. A good mindset goes a long way!
I think what you're saying is true but you won't see much progress if you just draw what you want. The best way to go about it (i find) is that whenever you paint a piece ypu should stop at the sketch and see what elements there are in the sketch that you don't know the technique of yet. Lets say you never thriwd that lighting technique, or that you have never painted a draping material. And those things are what you hope to have in the finished painting. So you take a new paper, or canvas and practice the things you want in the painting but arent skilled at yet (or think you haven't mastered yet). Because you practice for the painting you want to make it's easy not to lose motivation if you practice this way. And in the end you're still practicing, just a more focused way of practicing.
Hope this makes sense, i just find that doing this helps me keep motivation amd practice at the same time. And i have seen a lot of improvement while doing this.
Yes, this is true, I just thi k that for People getting into art it's easy to get stuck in The "study" mindset and burn out really fast. That's why I suggest painting what you want and if you dont know something you search it up. Once you progress a bit you can of course go more i depth in The studies as you suggest. This is just one of many ways of doing it. Its really up to The person I guess. But you are 100% correct (: have a Nice day!
@@Sisoou yeah you're right! Getting into art can be demotivating. And you also wont create your own stule if you focus too much on the practicing part. I guess just having a good balance of both to start is best.
Didn't say this before, but great video! You really know what to say to get everything across
@@Derpital thank you! That means a lot. Thank you for The comment, really Nice seeing other perspectives on this topic. I think motivation and that type of stuff is really interesting to learn more about (:

I... I UwU don't know anyone who draws furrys for 3 months straight
Hmm I'm sniffing something sus here haha (;
Thanks for the advice my man
No problems (;
are you planning on doing Tutorials ? Like yeah theres plenty of loomis heads tutorials, but for some reason the ones in your other vid seemed much clearer to me than the ones i found on YT.
Yeah I could do that, for sure! Which ones are you talking about? Just so I know what it is you want to see (:
Basic heads, body structures, i really like the way you shade and do overall skin . All the different layers of shade and light. Her eyes look really good.
@@igotjinxed2994 thank you. I'll see what I can do, they Might have to be 2 different videos to cover that much stuff. Thank you for The suggestion!
enjoyed
Glad to hear that!
Thanks for kicking me in the pants there, neighborino.
No problem. Everyone needs a push at some point haha (; Glad I could help a little
How did you learn so fast?
I don't have 30-50 mins a day that way i Draw 5-6 hours a day
Much needed video
glad you liked it (:
What was the name of the three professional artists you mentioned? I can't type it just from hearing it
Wlop, Kan Liu and Guweiz. They are all amazing artists (:
@@Sisoou Thank you so much. They are!
2:48 Oh dear god do I need say the thing.. *iS tHaT aN uNdeRtAle rEfeReNce*
I'm gonna be honest here, I've never played undertale so it must have been an accidental reference haha (:
@@Sisoou Yeah also the reference was determination cuz in every save point its like something something and then determination and its everywhere in the game
aah, I've heard the game is good so I might have to give it a shot. And they ain't wrong, determination is key!
@@Sisoou Its honestly one of my favourite games because
1: The music is amazing (even though thats subjective)
2: The story
3: The characters
And even if this doesn’t count the community has pretty nice art and animations (dont watch any comic dubs or ship videos cuz those ones are sus)
And that is my review that totally didn’t take a minute to make
@@NoSkill_fr haha, I see u like it. I like The music, I've lidtened to it while drawing. The internet has some weird art 😅 you've made me wanna check The game out (:
The voice killed me
My voice?
@@Sisoou it’s very fun to hear
@@Sisoou it makes it more entertaining
@@BuffOrpington5 ah, I've never heard that I have a fun voice, but I take that as a W haha. I never like hearing my own voice tho
@@Sisoou trust me, no one likes their own voice.
