The best canned plums I ever had were on the South Island of NZ. Thank you for this recipe! I'm sure I won't recreate what I had but I can dream!

Hi thanks for the video☺️ though I am new learner I would like to know can we use these canned sugar plums for baking a cake...??

Yes you can! They are quite wet once canned or cooked, so you may need to reduce the other liquids in the recipe unless it specifically calls for canned or stewed plums :-)

How do you cold pack? Do I need to cook my plums or can I halve them, take the pit out, cover them in sugar, let then sit to create the syrup and then can them?

COld packing is canning code for putting them in the jar raw. What you describe should work perfectly!
