Had a customer on the fourth floor of an apartment always ordering five to six boxes of candles that weighed minimum 50ibs. Started leaving them at the office.

Fed ex really is a hit or miss job, all depends if you have a good contractor. Boy did mine suck glad I left 😂 love the videos tho

@@Acenis It is. I worked at Amazon until the DSP went under. I then went to FedEx HD and realized I'd be getting less money for my hourly labor than Amazon. I was told I'd be delivering out of a Penske truck for a while. I left after 2 weeks and went back to Amazon making 19 an hour driving their big step vans.
Plus you can't go wrong with the 3 day weekends with Amazon.

In general independent jobs are always a hit or miss lol used to work for Flowers baking and being independent contractors can be hard to work with sometimes so i moved over to bimbo and same job just better pay and benefits as well

Make sure you wear that seatbelt man. My car was totalled in a shopping center parking lot, I've also heard horror stories of delivery drivers getting thrown from vehicles in accidents.

Where I deliver in the uk if I left my van open packages would be disappearing at every stop even if I was gone for 10 seconds. Looks like a nice route thanks for the vid

Bro as a amazon driver the amount of time I am looking for packages is wild I would prolly get done so much sooner with them all orginzed well like that, they basically just give them to use in big totes saying welp sort it yourself or find it as it comes, I try to lay out 5-10 stops ahead but at the beginning of the day that SuckSSS to do with so little space

Short sleeve if above 70 degrees, 50-70 degrees long sleeve, and hoodie and thermal top and bottom for 30-50 degrees
Do drivers get off work when all there deliveries are done or do you all work a set schedule?
Off when ur done, could be asked to help another driver tho. Would all depend on contractor
Once the truck is empty, I dip. My new contractor has no scheduled pickups

I delivered in Montana and now utah. Most stops ever I had 354 stops 423 packages durning peak. Was in 10 hrs sheeeesh.

I typically do rural routes so I only have about 50-80 stops everyday in a p500 step truck. You might think thats easy but my roads and the places I go to are super rough! Im talking HERMITS and people who live out in the woods in the middle of no where lol. I get in at 8:00 everyday and home by 4:30. 6:00 when I get bad luck and have terrible addresses. Winter time is the worst for me, I get my truck (Big Dirty Betty) stuck A LOT lol. My truck is so old the belt is worn out so I can only get up to 55 mph but hey "shes" good to me I guess! xD

FedEx driver here. You learn your route by doing it every day. If its a complex you've never been to, you guess and hope its right. Lol

Nice! The key to maximizing income in FedEx ground is finding a contractor that pays a good rate along with a route that does big numbers. All contractors pay differently. Some are shady and some are great. Good luck!

Once you learn the route it turns to memory and you use less and less of gps!
If you have a set route, with time you learn the route and wont need gps
