Fantastic video!!! Many thanks Bruce. I am in the process of clearing out my loft for the building of a model railway and your video has given me some great ideas on lighting. Really appreciate the help you have given. Very kind regards. John
I know this video is many years old but can you tell me where I can buy the red gel to change the colour of the light like on your fireplace please. Many thanks
I have heard someone say that you can take the fiber optic and melting the end so that forms a buld or a bubble. Have you tried this in the past and does it tend to work?
THANK YOU, i have been looking how to make lightning for a diorama

This was a great help, thanks for all the information
Thanks for the video i learned alot
Great video very informative,,, well worth using by the looks of that, one bulb could be used to light half a dozen rooms/ windows
Why not make neon lights as well?
Yes that is possible but neon lights often have sharp bends and that could be a problem with fibre optic cable. But try it anyway.
Yeah I’d say the tiny bends you’d have to do at that scale would kill the effectiveness of the fibers.
great vid really helped thanks
