    They used the 2.5lt V6 from the mazda 626 and destroked it back to a 2.0 using the KF series crank, Then cosworth did up some heads for it. Google KLZE for info on the 198hp 2.5 V6. Beautiful engines.

    You are right! My bad. Yes the super-tourers were amazing, let's hope the Super 2000 regs can return the BTCC to something like its former glory.

    Cleland was very hard to pass...a good racer..just like rouse...

    pretty sure that mondeo belongs to Alvin Powell in the LMA serias, although a run in with a clio at pembrey left is pretty damaged on the driver side. Still goes like stink.

    That mondeo Is a shade quicker than the cav, brands hatch is narrow so not easy to get past!

      @@feydespiel. your right, Cleland was a hard racer, I just wish touring cars were as exciting these days, it all went dull when the downforce started to come in
