They used the 2.5lt V6 from the mazda 626 and destroked it back to a 2.0 using the KF series crank, Then cosworth did up some heads for it. Google KLZE for info on the 198hp 2.5 V6. Beautiful engines.
pretty sure that mondeo belongs to Alvin Powell in the LMA serias, although a run in with a clio at pembrey left is pretty damaged on the driver side. Still goes like stink. rich

That mondeo Is a shade quicker than the cav, brands hatch is narrow so not easy to get past!
