Märklin 3015 CCS 800 Crocodile and maiden voyage on the new historic layout also 314 Esso

- I bought a "new" reptile, the 3015 crocodile... Here it is unpacked, the difference to the CCS 800 is shown a little and then there is the maiden voyage on my layout with a few cast iron wagons.

Es war wieder Klasse, dabei zu sein! Herrlich, auch und besonders das Krokodil! Das verschiebt auch mal locker das EFH! 😅 cool! Tolle Idee mit dem Gepäckkarrenfahrer!😊 einfach nur eine wunderschöne Vintage Anlage!
Vielen Dank, Thomas…. Ja, die Kraft des Krokodils ist einfach unglaublich,… Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt!!! Zum Glück war das RS Spitaler EFH ohne Keller gebaut worden…. Wer weiß, wie das sonst ausgegangen wäre ;-)

Super Teile hast Du da bekommen. Das Krokodil natürlich erstklassig. Der 314 ist auch in super Zustand und der 310er immerhin einer mit den beiden großen Lüftern, also ein ganz frühes Modell. Den kriegst Du schon wieder hin. Viel Spaß mit den Sachen! Viele Grüße, Andreas
Danke danke Andreas, und ja, der 310er hat die großen Lüfter und die 4.2 Kupplungen,... der wird schon werden mit ein bisschen schrubben und Öl wird das schon. Auch der 314er ist in einem echt guten Zustand und ich freue mich sehr darüber... Und das Krokodil schwimmt nun im Teich und verteidigt sein Revier.... ;-)

the Electrotren tank wagons from this period were also similar except they had the unpainted stainless steel buffers like Fleischmann did and were of a tinplate construction, also Elcetroten's start sets all came with Marklin M-track they also started off as 3 rail before going to 2 rail DC.
By crikey the ccs800 / 3015 is a beauty. I've recently acquired one and they really are a marvel of engineering, and the way it snakes around your layout is just wunderbar.
I've been meaning to say I really like your little stucco buildings, all in all, just a good, honest model railway layout.
I've got a few Swiss items: 3015, RET800 and an RMS800, all excellent, but I'm not a fan of the early 3 position reverser I'm afraid!
On a different tone: its not hard to see why marklin never proceeded with the ccs700. It would've been an expensive loco to make (and sell), but really didn't fit in with the spur 00 super model range like the hr800, sk800, or even the hs800 shorty. It hearkened back to its 0 and 1 cousins, not forward to the new 00 supermodels. (Could you imagine a ccs700 with the well detailed near scale 300 series wagons?)
Märklin did the right thing as opposed to poor bing with the table railway (which I feel is really the pioneer of the model railway as a complete system, with its ballast track and clip on accessories, with plug and play wiring) which was marketed as a small toy alternative, as opposed to marklins 00 as being an engineering and technical marvel in miniaturisation. Something contemporary trix had to get heads around sharply if they wanted to be in the game.
Brilliant croc, brilliant videos, and I want that station (bahnhof): that is an absolute beauty.

Wow…. i am still flashed about your comment,… Indeeed, the crocodile is really a beauty,… the power, the strength, the elegance how it moves across the layout,… these kind of things hopefully will last forever,..
Next to the 3015 I also own the RET 800, the RES 800 and the RE 800,… and hopefully soon, I can let them run on my layout,… but there are so many,… the TM, RM, SE, SET, SEF, SEH, G, GN, DL, DT, ST,…
I am so happy to have this little Gauge 00 layout so I can show all these trains ,… and hopefully the younger generations will see, what made in Germany once ment,… quality, that lasts forever,… and as you see,… after 70 years the trains still work….

ein Traum 👍👍👍 die 3015 natürlich SUPER klasse. Immer wieder schön wie die durch die engen Kurven und Weichen fährt - selbst Häuser und Drähte sind da kein Problem 😂.

Vielen Dank 👍 und ja, Ein Krokodil ist natürlich immer klasse. Hat unglaublich Kraft und ist sehr wendig, und selbst Häuser und Kabel schiebt sie davon,... lach... bei mir zur Zeit, aber es wird auch noch Ordnung auf die Anlage kommen... wird schon,... aber Modelleisenbahnen brauchen nun einfach Zeit, Liebe und Leidenschaft. Vielen Dank, ist ja leider nur eine sehr kleine Anlage mit 2,60m x 0,77 m,... also nicht wirklich groß genug, um auch eine Bergstrecke mit einzubauen - da hätten schon 10 cm in der Tiefe geholfen... Aber nun ja, man kann ja leider nicht alles haben ;-) Viele Grüße
