    Great addition, thanks. I'm wondering, is it possible to control what direction the model becomes thicker? By that I mean can thickness be made to increase either just projecting in the model, or or projecting just outwards form the model? Hope that makes sense.

      I believe that would be achieved by changing the elevation to a positive 100. Can't remember for sure winch one but one of the params needs to inverted for a different direction of extraction

    Hey mate! thanks for the tutorials!
    Can you help me? I need to smooth the inner shell of the model without quality loss and outer model distortion. I make heads for BJD dolls and can't find a method to thickness inner shells without breaking the outer shell of the model.
    many thanks for your help!

    when i go to customize UI, the actual button does not exist. when i go to use macro under the macro tab, it fills in my model completely. I am uzing the zbrush 2020 on PC. Any ideas?

      Maybe you are using ZBrush Core or Core Mini? These options might not be available if that is the case.

    I'm a novice Zbrush user. I am just trying to follow the very start of your video, using the z modeler brush. I tried to follow your instructions, but when I pulled on a poly, nothing happened. It didn't get thicker. There must be something more to it. Is it just LMB, or is there another key you have to add?

    • @MadPonyInteractive
      @MadPonyInteractive  2 роки тому

      Not really, in order for it to work your mesh needs to have the same polygroup all around, (same color when yo display polygroups by pressing Shift+F) and QMesh needs to be selected. Hope that helps. Also if you are a novice to sculpting, consider using Blender as it is free and easier to learn.

      @@MadPonyInteractive I’m enrolled in a class that uses Z brush and Maya. After the class is over, I need to get into Blender. I did finally get the Z modeler thing to work by putting the piece that I wanted to bend on a separate subtool layer. Thanks for your help

      sorry for the late reply, have you placed the files in the macros folder in the ZBrush 2020 install location?

    • @MadPonyInteractive
      @MadPonyInteractive  4 роки тому

      That is strange, did you changed the original shortcuts? The coma key is usually the Lightbox shortcut. Are you on windows or mac?
