Hi, I'm a programming enthusiast who loves to learn and teach new technologies as well as create tools for the creative.
I started Mad Pony Interactive to provide means and tools for creative people to be more efficient at what they do best.
My aim is to shorten the learning curves that so often put people off learning certain technologies.
I'm a Jack of All Trades, have done web development in the past, game dev, music, software development, etc.

Could you cover painting with high DPI support? That's really throwing me for a loop, especially getting something that looks good/consistent at 1x AND 2x.

How to Install? I bought it, unzipped "fullversion" and when I installed "CurveShapes_V_3_0_3" nothing happened and then i installed "MPI_AddCurveShape_V_2_3_1" nothing happened also
It seems like when i try to install CurveShapes_V_3_0_3 on Blender 4.0 it doesnt show up. But when i try CurveShapes_V_3_0_2 It does show but throws in error after enabling the addon :(
Hi, you don't need to unzip it. Please refer to the installation instructions for Blender 4.1 and below in the documentation madponyinteractive.github.io/CurveShapes/v.3.0/2-instalation.html
@@MadPonyInteractive I made it work, but I had to use older version it seems. But it is kinda broken, when i make specific shape like a "crown" it generates weird result. Can i send you somewhere screenshots?

Question: (Still using 4.27, but I do have 5.4)...I have a clothing problem. I put a cape on my character, and at first, it was working well, physics and all. However, now the cape (as the character flies) gets stuck in a weird position, and it won't release. I've changed no settings on the clothe. Is there something in-world (or in any blueprint) that causes this? A solution?? Note: I have slo-mo attached to my character...the cape works well in slow motion, but not at regular speed. I did delete the slo-mo feature and compiled, but it still does it.)
@@Entolyfik you might need to have a separate physics asset for when the character is flying.

@@amrelkamash3673 Yes, a Subclass will have all the properties and methods of it's Superclass, while a child can simply be a all together separate object.
I respect that you created something that didnt exist before, but I am honestly dissapointed. I was hyped for this addon but looks like its not very responsive. It needs way too much time to register which direction the cursor goes. As blender user you probably know how in comparison pies in addons like machin3tools work. Its instant reaction. There is also this addon pme(pie menu editor) which lets you to customize everything with pies but not only, it also works instantly and super smooth. So what is causing this in zbrush? Any chance the responsiveness could be improved?
Thank you for the kind words. I am also a Blender user and understand what you mean. You can use the "Feedback" option to improve the responsiveness of the menu. It wont be like Blender but with the right setting and a bit of getting used to it, it will work quite well. Hope that helps and thank you for acquiring Pie Menus.
You don't know how much I needed this T.T I tried every way to create a script to do something similar to your nudgedrive and nothing worked for me, but I found this beautiful tool, thank you very much and good job. 👍👍👍👍
Your script looks really interesting! I consider buying it. But for those who are only interested in transfering polygroups I have a tip in basic zbrush: 1. change polygroups into polypaint 2. store morth target for your new object 3. project all (it will project polypaint and geometry if you'll have brush icon on in subtools) 4. Switch morph target to get back your new model's geometry

how does it work when it displays the button in top left? you have not set geometry or a layout. i cannot get it to show a button at that stage.
I am unable to get 3.0 or 3.01 to install in Blender 4.1 its gives error
Are you installing as an addon? Or are you dropping the zip file into blender? Only Blender 4.2 supports drag and drop installation for extensions. To install in Blender 4.1 you need to do this: 1- Open Blender 2- Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons 3- Click on Install and select the downloaded file 4- Press the checkbox to activate the extension.
I have been able to replicate the error on my end and am now working on it, thank you for reporting it.

ok so now there is a real problem, is that once active it works but the smooth normals on will freeze all menus, and sometimes cannot be deactivated
That's normal behaviour, you need to either place it in a panel or assign a shortcut key to it.
@@MadPonyInteractive no but even with a hotkey the screen gets stuck, I press some random keys and it gets unstuck, if you can help me maybe change some keys in the code, some key combination must cause the screen to stuck
@@semprepi6503 This macro, is either on or off. The shortcut key you assign to it will toggle it on/off. When the macro is on it will lock the menus, it is only meant to be used to check the normals, you can orbit the viewport with it is on but you should turn it off once you're done checking your model.
I bought but not working in 24' zbrush
Hi, have you tried to assign a shortcut with (Ctrl+Shift+Click) on the macro and press a key, then use that key to turn on/off the macro? That is the only way to get it to work.
@@semprepi6503 Ok so "." doesnt work as a shortcut in ZBrush. It does display a message stating that in the top status bar. You need to use another shortcut. Also its Alt+Ctrl+Click to create shortcuts. Another way you can use it is by placing it in a panel like I did as you seen in the video and just press it.

@@semprepi6503 I doesnt show up in the macros? Have you placed it in C:\Program Files\Maxon ZBrush 2024\ZStartup\Macros\Misc ? Have you pressed macros and then on the drop down pressed macros again to expand the macros?
@@MadPonyInteractive Press "Reload All Macros" in your macros folder or restart ZBrush And a "Toggle All" button should appear under the Misc sub palette. '' I don't see any macro button
