Jamo is a true weapon, hopefully with a full camp and a better comfort and understanding of his place within the offense, he will have a bust out season.... we need a few new players to step up this year... Jamo, Campbell, Arnold, Reader and someone off the edge!!!!
I'll take Jamo on Offense and Cap'n Jack on Defense. Josh Reynolds was a key guy for us and what he did needs to be replaced. As for Cap'n Jack, he needs to be our D leader and a tackling and diagnosing machine.
Brad is waiting for Goff’s “Unofficial minicamp” report. Every offseason Goff invites the receivers to California and they work on routes, timing and the playbook. Goff will let Brad know based on those workouts whether they need another WR or not. So everything else is just speculation without data. We don’t know how much or how little Green and DPJ have advanced this off season. And as Meko touched on, St Brown, LaPorta, JaMo, Gibbs, Leaf, and Montgomery can only catch so many passes. We do after all have one of the Best Running attacks in the NFL, behind the top O-line in the NFL.
You guys are actually having a conversation about whether Jameson Williams is a deep threat? What does it matter Goff is great at intermediate and short stuff but he can't throw a long ball to save his life, they look more like punts!
Aaron Glenn is the only one who needs to improve. Aren't all Lions fans praying for a mediocre defense this year? Even settle for a bend don't break like Jared had in LA under Wade Phillips? AG is still the Lions weakest link. Yes he has a great personality & will make a great HC elsewhere.
Glenn. He needs to be able to stop big plays. He can’t defend mobile QBs and let Nick Mullens throw for 400 against us. I’m also going to say Goff. When things aren’t going his way or his front line ain’t in, things get ugly.

Even the threat of Jamo running by the defense opens things up even more in the intermediate areas.
You're ignoring the problem Jamo has in adjusting to the ball. None of the other receivers are having this problem. It's his #1 weakness.
