17 days trekking to Everest Base Camp & Gokyo Lakes in 4 MINUTES (why you need to travel to Nepal)

- Back in October 2019, I spent 17 days trekking to and from Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp in Nepal. It was the experience of a lifetime and hands down the best thing I've ever done.
Our group met in Kathmandu, Nepal, where we took a mini bus and then a small plane to Lukla. Landing at Lukla airport, one of the most dangerous airports in the world was a huge adrenaline rush to begin the trip. Our hike then began from Lukla, up to Namche Bazaar and on to Gokyo Lakes.
Gokyo Lakes were absolutely insane. The colour of the water was so beautiful and we could see the lake from our tea house in which we stayed. We also hiked up to the Ngozumpa Glacier which was incredible to see.
We then continued on to Gorak Shep and Everest Base Camp. This was by far the coldest day of the trek with temperatures reaching -15 degrees celsius. It was hard to hike at such a high altitude but we made it all the way to EBC.

Am already researching EBC & Goyko Lakes & Cholo pass....allowing 21 days in total from Kathmandu & back...still deciding best time nxt yr..Mar to May or Oct/Nov...but not sure when u want to do this epic trek..??
