Saying I’m sorry after a blindside like that so late in the game is such a great move, it makes the jury recognise it was you whilst being polite to the new jury member
An absolutely amazing move by Maryanne. This is the first time the extra vote actually resulted in someone getting eliminated by it.
This is the first time is was properly used. It was used correctly in 41 to elimate Naseer and Liana but they would have gone home regardless of the extra vote. So its pretty girlboss of her to use it properly
Sarah from Game Changers played her extra vote resulted in Michaela's elimination

I love how Omar didn't really react until he heard "one vote left". Before it was a 2-2-2 tie with 6 people and Omar easily could have seen himself as the minority target. Then there was One Vote Left and he realized "wait, I'm screwed 😅"
yesss and he knew that it was an extra vote, which is why he knew is was maryanne!! loved both of them
Reasons why Omar lost: 1. He took out too many threats, leaving him as the big threat. 2. He became too overconfident, especially when your ally has an idol that is expiring.
He also took out Rocksroy, Drea and Hai who all wanted to work with him. He left himself with people who wanted him out and that led to his demise. He is an amazing strategic player but he took out the wrong people

I disagree. Their are still big threats in the game. I think it just came down to Maryanne had to make a move that someone else couldn't steal credit for which left only mike and omar as options
it would’ve been so cool to see drea & lindsey use their amulet to blindside mike at 7 when omar took his idol
The best part is no one knows about Maryann'es second idol. So I can't wait to see how Maryanne plays that out.
And that's why if you don't have to tell people about your advantages, you don't. Now she has lots of room to maneuver and she knows no matter what she's in the final four.

The friendliest tribals in this shows history. Everyone leaves smiling and not feeling upset or bitter. They realize that it’s just a game. I love it!

@@johnbrown9654 there's no ponderosa videos this season for whatever reason but there are articles and interviews that describe what happened there. apparently hai and drea were bitter against omar and gave him a hard time when he arrived

I LOVE this. Omar and the jury thinking the vote was a tie before hearing "one vote left" and knowing Maryanne played her extra one was SO GOOD.
Lindsay made the biggest mistake by not playing her idol for Omar! She was worried about it coming back into play next week, but it would have been the best thing for her for the idol to come back into play because she could have been the one to find it!

Also, it would have came back into the game anyways because it expired at final 6, so she should have just played it. She got out Hai and Drea, to make her amulet into a idol that expires at final 6, only to not play it at all. I'm confused.
And then they show her in the next preview running around looking for an idol. It’s just not a good play at all by her.

i've listened to omer's exit interview, he said that it was not only about the idol coming back to the game that concerned lindsay. she also did not want to give out the impression of the two of them being very close to each other that why lindsay didn't play the idol for him.
This cast is the best so gracious with every elimination.

This was one of the greatest single moves of all time imo (as far as increasing her chances of winning). She never told anyone about the advantage until she needed to, she can't be voted out cuz of idol, and she got all the credit and made everyone else look stupid. So basically all she has to do is either win immunity or firemaking and she has such a good chance of winning

If Maryanne wins, THIS is why. Winners of Survivor are ones who are patient, and they wait for the perfect time to strike. With Mike and Jonathan voting for Romeo, Maryanne is sitting pretty because she can go to Romeo and Lindsay if she wants, or stick with Mike and Jonathan. And she's bulletproof because of her idol, even if Lindsay tried to go after her with Mike and Jonathan.
It’s between Mike and Mary Anne for the win IMO. Both are safe next tribal meaning one would have to go from fire. It’s been a while since we’ve had a tight race in the final 3. We could have a close final vote.

@@plaqued9526 No, Mike and Jonathan wanted to play it safe and vote out Romeo, and then have a 3-2 advantage in the final five, which, isn't a bad move. For Maryanne, though, it wouldn't have given her anything to put on her resume in the end.

@@antoineharris2176 they wanted to play it safe because it was them as the target. Maryanne was playing from a safe position, so there was no downside for her if it didnt work. If romeo for whatever reason votes jonathan, literally doesnt matter for her at all for her.

Maryanne just made the best move possible simply because even though she made that move, she’s still not the biggest target when you have Jonathan & Lindsey in the game plus her hidden immunity idol. She’s good by a long shot and my winner pick. Her final 3 idea should be her, Mike, & Romeo.

I did find it odd that Omar wasn't more irked by Drea's dig. He needed to do damage control. Drea set up the ball and Maryanne spiked it.

Maryanne played this so smart, Lindsay was so focus on Johnathan she miss her chance by not playing the idol. Pretty sure the 4 will be gunning for Lindsay, seeing she has won 3 challenges, that kept her safe. It wouldn`t surprise me if it was Mike, Maryanne and Romeo at the end.

Personally I think if Maryanne is sitting next to Jonathan and Romeo at the end, she has a shot of winning! Jonathan might get just Mike’s and Rocksroy’s vote and the rest will be bagged by her. If she is up against Lindsay or Mike, it’ll be tight. This is such a great season!!
I would predicted the same final three and Jonathan would steal it if Mary Anne and Romeo cannot plead their case convincingly.

Why do people still believe Mike has a shot? If the final 3 are Romeo,Mike and Maryanne who do you think will vote for Mike? Chanelle clearly dislikes him,Rocksroy probably doesn't vote for him as well,Hai is 60/40 on not voting for him and I don't even know if we have ever seen a shot of him and Tori speaking to each other so she isn't voting for him either. Besides Jonathan the only people that could vote for him are Mike and Lindsay,but I think they would appreciate Maryanne's moves and her being in the bottom for the entire game and suddenly sitting there. Plus Mike hasn't really done anything worth-voting for. He plays with his emotions instead of his brain and that could cost him at least 3 jury votes (Chanelle,Rocksroy,Hai) and nobody will vote for Romeo so everyone could easily vote for Maryanne. I can see her winning with a 7-1-0 vote
Ngl Maryanne could beat anyone in the game at the moment. Her jury management skills have been great in past episodes and in this episode she pulled a great blindside.

I don't see how people think Jonathan will or should win tbh. The three best players were Omar, Maryanne and Lindsay. Literally the only way Jonathan should even have a chance is if the final 3 is him, Mike and Romeo - yes, that might happen. but even then I feel like Mike might win just on account of being a more social and liked person. Beyond his physical performance, Jonathan hasn't really done much. If he pulls out some amazing gameplay in the finale, okay, kudos to him, but idk, I'm not seeing it atm.
The two biggest contenders are Mike and Maryanne at the moment
I'm impressed with how well he's keeping his composure while starving to death
Most likely final three is Jon, Mary Anne and Romeo. Jon probably win the last two immunity and gave up immunity to fire making challenge to kick Mike out.
MaryAnne is smart but the most important thing is do the juries respect her gameplay. Jon survived tribal after tribal, and survived sometimes without immunity despite being the challenge beast cannot be underestimated.
Mike, Rocks, Tori, Lindsay, and Hai most likely will vote for Jonathan. Hai is very smart, i am not sure how he rated Mary Anne game because she was out of the voting loop several times, but Jon is a constant threat starting from merge.
Drea, Chanel, and Omar likely to vote MaryAnne.
Up till now I still don't understand why Lindsey wants to get rid of him badly because from the way I see it, he's a perfect candidate to take to the end 😂😂😂

If giving up immunity and making fire is the sole reason they give him their vote..... then I'd be seriously disappointed. And I also don't see why Tori would give the win to Jonathan.

As incredible of a blindside this is, I’m certain Omar would have gone home even without the extra vote. Both Mike and Jonathan opted to take Omar out, but used Romeo as a safe vote in case Lindsay used her amulet on Omar to mitigate their votes, which didn’t happen. Omar still goes home in the case of a revote as only two votes are needed against him to be eliminated.
Lindsay should have played the idol on Omar. What a shame. :(

Playing the idol for omar here by lindsey would be a good move because omar would still be her shield and no one would want her out over omar at final 5 so she would have a chance at firemaking or immunity and definitely in final 3

@@green5studios47 I am referring to Lindsay's idol. Her idol is special as it was derived from an advantage found in episode 1. It is good upto the final six, unlike the regular hidden immunity idols

@@green5studios47 assuming that Mike and Maryanne do not have hidden immunity idols, then yes it would be recirculated regardless. But if Mike and Maryanne have an hidden immunity idol each, Lindsay's idol get recirculated (maybe Lindsay found it) and someone else wins the regular immunity, the vulnerable person will be out without needing to vote. He or she can't play shot in the dark.
My point is, is it really true that Lindsay's idol will be recirculated given that Mike and Maryanne each have hidden immunity idol? If it gets recirculated, all the more Lindsay should go find it. That's where her statement doesn't make sense to me
What omar shouldve known from the previous votes was that the whole tribe unanimously voted out strategic threats hai and drea (with the exception of romeo bcoz this idiot doesnt have awareness)
It should've made him a bit paranoid knowing hes now the biggest strategic threat left in the game.... especially after the open move he made saving Mike's idol...i thought he would know "oh shit they see me as the biggest threat now" yet he doesnt let lindsey play her idol on him which was going to expire that tribal anyway is the biggest blunder of the season

And I think this episode was the end for Lindsey. People associated her with Omar. And as soon as Omar was seen to be a snake, Lindsey was seen as one too. And Jonathan is onto Lindsey. And Jonathan is tight with Mike. So…. It’s too bad. Love seeing Lindsey compete. It’s also unfair people are upset that they didn’t know about her idol when it literally JUST became one lol. But yeah… her chances are up.
If Maryanne gets to final 3, she will win. She’s feisty and we love to see it!!

A great move by Maryanne and a dumb move by Lindsay. Like what did you expect to happen? You have an idol and you aren't gonna play it out of fear of somebody else finding it? Screw that as long as you protect yourself and increase your chances to go further in the game,the idol coming back should be the last thing you care about
It wasn’t really fear & more so them being survivor confident on Jonathan going home so there was no reason for them to use if & risk someone finding an idol right after.. which was dumb

I think she just overthought it, but there were already two idols in circulation so there wouldn’t be one hidden. I think she thought Mike would play his and she would play hers leaving only one idol left. And due to recent seasons, they have hidden an idol at 5

No they didn't. Their plan is that Maryanne use her extra vote for Jonathan. But she use it on Omar instead and sending him to jury. 😁

If you haven’t read the exit press for this vote, please do. It adds so much more context and explains Lindsay, Omar, and Maryanne’s moves tonight a lot better than the episode did.
TLDR for the articles: Omar had an idol nullifier that was going to be used at final 5. All of Taku knew and Lindsay didn’t want to be seen as a pair with Omar. Also Jury may have been bitter to Omar so despite how much we thought he was going to win, it wasn’t likely. That is why Jonathon was target 1 because he could win immunity and why no one was worried about (which I didn’t understand watching the episode)
That makes a lot of sense, wish more people would know about this.

Jonathan will win immunity next, Mike and Mary Anne will be immune. Romeo is an easy person to bring with. Leaving Lindsay as easy vote.
Final challenge will see Jonathan win again but he will give it up to beat Mike in the fire making challenge.
My expected final three will be Jonathan, Romeo and Mary Anne. If Jonathan explained himself well, owing that by self controlling and not be too aggressive able him to survive tribal council without the necklace, something amazing for a giant challenge beast.

I thought Jonathan wanted to take Mike to the end after the moment they both bonded of being the two biggest threats in this game.

Fun fact about Lindsay’s idol!!:
On the paper explaining the vote, it says that the idol is *non transferable*, which means even if Lindsay wanted to play the idol for Omar, she couldn’t due to the rules of the advantage :))

Welp Maryanne has my vote. She took the game into her own hands. And it takes GUTS to do that. ESPECIALLY when you don’t have support, save for the underwhelming scapegoat that is Romeo. And she couldn’t have picked a better time. Absolute fire.

I'm kind of perplexed as to how everyone's saying that Omar played such a great game. Every move he made was just for the sake of making them. And the fact that he threw over someone who wanted to go to the F3 with him (Drea) for _Mike_ says a lot about him, and none of it good.
Besides, when Drea outed him, she pretty much blew up his game right there. If he'd stayed working in the shadows, then yes, he'd have been playing a good game. When _everyone_ knows what you've been up to, you ain't playing a good game anymore, honey.
Add in how arrogant he and Lindsay were in failing to realize that a blindside was possible, and he was NOT playing well at all.
Frankly, I've been been done with Omar for weeks now. I thought his comeuppance was long overdue, but quite welcome. And beautiful. Kudos to Maryanne for bringing it about.

@@mikehunt6179 I think it was because Lindsay thought that the idol which is the (amulet) would reappear if she played it and someone would find it. And she thought Omar was safe anyways, I’m pretty sure that’s why she was shocked.
@@ZymirMB it was only good down to 6 players so that one shouldn't reappear. I'm happy with Omar being gone but he deserves too be in the final five way more than do nothing Romeo.
