Unironically, this season would feel completely empty without Andy. Truly the crutch that 47 needed and he NEEDS to be the pick from 47 on survivor 50.
@@nomercy4186 You don't know that. There would be someone else to replace him, is what I mean. He's entertaining though, and played a very entertaining game, so I do know where you're coming from. I'm glad he was on.
I feel so honored for never hating this man for a panic attack he couldn't control and he ended up becoming my favourite player just because of how well he played under his circumstances and how much he grew as a person in a tough island.
And the operation Italy legit save the season from a boredfest of "women" alliance who'll just gonna betray Rachel eventually with Caroline's in charge
This was a very wholesome video interview. Rob clearly very proud of Andy and Andy pleased to have played a great game Rob appreciates. Episode 12 one for the history books 🇮🇹 well played Andy!
I 10000% Agree. Rachel would've went home.. but if Rachel wasn't there in final 6. Then maybe Genevieve wins again, and I would assume Sam would be out. Then in the final 4.. Andy would have to win in fire. So yeah. He probably does win.... well it depends. Because in the final 6, there's a possibility Sue votes for Andy instead of Same, or sam wins immunity, and maybe they keep Gen over Andy. Idk.. but yeah i agree if Rachel didn't find the idol there's a huge chance he wins
One of my players ever - so much love for you Andy, I identify with you personally in many ways, and it was amazing meeting you in person. You were so great out there and you clearly had a blast living your dream. So happy for you!
Sad to lose Andy and Genevieve in the same ep. In my opinion, they were some of the most interesting players of the new era. Baby Andy was eliminated, but at least he orchestrated one of the greatest moves ever seen on Survivor. I hope they bring him back for season 50.
As a Big Brother fan, it seems Andy was going for a Kevin Jacobs strategy where he plays into the perception of being a weak player that is getting dragged along only to flip that perception to win at the end. Big difference is that Kevin had a more gradual transition, which made the arc more believable to his opponents while Andy was banking on Operation: Italy being the big inflection point to where he could start making massive shifts in perception. This strategy is great because, if you play it right, you get access to so much information. You can amass significant swing vote power if you create your own bloc to influence things in directions that suit your interests. The drawback is that you can hide your game so well that the jury simply doesn’t see it and you’re locked out of winning. Kevin was able to turn that into an auto-win if he made it to the end from the F4 whereas Andy struggled. All in all, I would say he played a good game. Sure he may have had an uphill battle in a jury vote, but I appreciated that he knew that and was trying to course correct. I’m big on awareness and adaptability. Andy was able to realize his mistakes then craft a plan that maximized his strengths and minimized his weaknesses. Good game to watch. Also kudos to Rachel being straight gansta with that threat. I wish I could have seen it 🤣 EDIT: He literally cited Kevin Jacobs. I had the right read 😁
I am so glad Andy was on Survivor. Survivor has been my favorite show as long as I can remember, but watching the season 47 premiere felt like it was going to be a chore and I wasn’t excited about it. That all changed when I fell “in love” with Andy on episode one. I have enjoyed this season so much and cannot recall the last time I enjoyed watching a player so much as I do Andy. It makes my life better knowing Andy’s out there in the world.
Andy should be proud of the game he played! He was self interested but never cruel, created so many iconic moments, and showed true vulnerability. Rooting for an Andy return for season 50!
My favourite player this season!!!! Sad that he’s out. Hope he’s back for 50 and brings that A game through the whole season. Thanks Andy for a great game!
100%. Most of the time, that "dont do this or i'll never vote for you" always has the opposite effect for the action and/or the person making that proclamation. If you conform to their demand they definitely wont vote for you, so you might as well just lie more cos at least get the game respect on the jury.
Andy did awesome. He had a panic attack at the beginning and I can see why, I can’t imagine the stress of the scramble! But he learned and adapted and if he had made it to the final three, he would have had a hell of an argument to win. I hope he goes on an all star season!
i was rooting for you so hard but it was to bad to see you go you where one of the strongest players i thought you better be the pick for survivor 50 and i think you have a good shot
This dude made the show worth watching, nobody left in the final 4 has actually deserved to win and the past two boots were actually deserving in a sense. Just so deflating
A bit crazy to say Rachel doesn’t deserve it at this point. She’s basically a more well rounded version of Genevieve lol. I wouldn’t sleep on Sam either though
Andy is an idiot just thinking Rachel was already on our way out and he gave her all the ammo about his game and smartly She took that and voted his ass out when in reality Sam would’ve went home.
Aaaandy, nooooo! Whyyy, why did you tell Rachel she was going home? You never tell someone they are going home. After you went home instead I was so sad the whole rest of the episode. Now I see your perspective for why you did what you did one that round, and it makes sense. But from our perspective where we see all the players... it hurt so baaaad, you were fiiine, dude! All in all, congratulations! Epic ride, epic season.
I love Baby Andy!! He was awesome and I was truly rooting for him the whole way, UNTIL I wasn't 😅 He definitely overplayed his hand and got got by Rachel lol it was quite the moment. ALSO loved the look on his face at tribal in the 2nd hour last night when he realized that SUE had an idol 😂lol
Right now if Rachel does make it to the end she deserves to win she has played the best game currently she has won the most immunity challenges she got an idol block a vote she blind sided Andy which was kind of his fault for going to her and letting her know that he is a bigger threat than what people thought he was he should have kept making the moves he was making in hopes that the jury saw that even though he kept flipping it worked in his advantage he was able to convince people who to vote out he came up with operation Italy he was smarter than what people gave him credit for
This is the best season in a long time. At first I thought Andy was psycho and as the game went on, I thought he's really playing the game. I was sad to see him voted off.
unfortunately it doesn't. If he flipped to vote with Rachel, that would be seen as Rachel's move and if Sam went home with the idol play instead of him, Rachel gets another scalp and simply put, who is beating Rachel at challenges to stop her from steam rolling the rest of the game?
@@omarholder9036 valid points. But when sam goes to jury he gives perspective to andy's game that no other person can give since hes been with him from the beginning. Its rachels move, but andys game gets explained by sam. Which is actually equally/more potent
andy i love you so much but the edit made it look like you “villian monologued” rachel and told her your master plan because you thought she was going to die 😂
Andy did cost himself by going up to Rachel and trying I guess to get her vote if she got voted out he should have kept laying low and making moves like he's been doing
I will stand by what I said previously. Andy played a major role in on Lovett, leaving the game way too early. I agree with others who have said that Andy should have been voted off way before Part 1 of this season's finale. Sol, Kyle, & Jon Lovett for Season 50 👏🏿
If Andy hadn't threatened Rachel that it is she going to be voted out next, Andy would have still been playing the game. He couldn't help being cocky and thought that being bold enough , he could have his way with Rachel. On the other hand Sam would have beleived his cocky conversation but Rachel was too smart for him. He just went overboard with his mouth. Hence the downfall and Sam is still there although he didn't do anything to be there..
She already knew she was getting his vote. Where he went wrong was explaining his game to her, which made her realize that he was actually a bigger threat than Sam. It was a calculated risk, because if she did end up on the jury than he at least has someone there who can vouch for his strategy.
He had to get Rachel in on some of his game if she was in the Jury. He figured it was her or Sam and he knew that Sam saw a good chunk of his game. He apparently did that too well or misjudged how much of a threat that Rachel saw Sam as. I think if anything, the move came from the opposite of being cocky, in that he thought the view of his game compared to Sam's was so low that anything he told her would still make Sam her main target.
He deserved to lose when he did (actually sooner) from my perspective. Agents of chaos are terrible at game play. They think they're these grand strategists (and on occasion Andy did have a scintilla of strategy,) but in actuality they just like causing confusion so no one knows who's being truthful about anything (i.e. if Genevieve's idol was real or not.) That's not entertaining to watch. I prefer players like Yul who are cerebral and thoughtful. That's what Andy kept thinking/saying he was, but he isn't that naturally. He just comes off as immature, unfocussed and panicked in every one of his supposed big moves. I mean, Operation Italy? Come on. Grow up. We aren't in primary school on the playground. I'm sure he appeals to a younger audience, but to me it was just like watching a kid vying for their parents' attention. Aww no one clapped when I cracked a coconut. 🙄
Ya no it’s more impressive to have success as a chaotic players than ones who aren’t, the results even show it as these players rarely win, hate to say it but without these types of players Survivor is nothing
I agree. He kept claiming all the big moves but for most he was inconsequential. The moves would have played out the same way whether he was involved or not. I really don’t get all the hype for him unless maybe it’s pity?
He completely turned his game around. He should be super proud!
Unironically, this season would feel completely empty without Andy. Truly the crutch that 47 needed and he NEEDS to be the pick from 47 on survivor 50.
Agree. Andy = a fan proxy. His journey illustrates our worst fears and highest aspirations of how we would play.

I love Andy, I’m a certified Andy fan
Was a little iffy on Andy at the start but man he brought me around. Hell of a fun player to watch.
Andy made it to final 6 without ever having a #1. Impressive!
He had a number one in the first episode... and then everyone knew better.
Andy. Most epic player this season. ❤
His quotes were the names for the last 7 episodes - showing his quoteability- great performance Andy . Not the winner but the mos entertaining by far
Him and Genevieve, are perfect casting choices👌
They need to both come back for S50
Honestly if Rachel never got the idol clue in her fries, I seriously think there’s a world where we are talking about Andy, winner of survivor 47.
