- The BMW E64 has a great soft-top except it goes wrong all the time - usually easily fixed, but not this time. This time the canvas is actually tearing. I will show you how to fix the problem using cheap and easily available tools to provide a permanent fix

This folding ares are known to wear out. This solution will be better than factory durability. I know very low milage E64 have this worn too. Is not big deal. Have fun to open the top and cruzing.

My one started this last year.
Im thinking of dying mine the same as my soft top.
It is closer to the right colour in real life - but it will all get re-coloured with the top later this year
$4200 v/s 20 and an hour in the sun, sounds like a deal.
I tend to stab myself at least once sewing heavy fabric or leather so good on you for not drawing blood! :D
