These are all kinda a big thing in how someone expressed their faith. And for there to be unity what would be the core doctrines someone should abide by? I love this topic haha.

Schooled in Nigeria my whole life. When i was in junior school ie Year 7 to year 9 we had social studies as a subject and civic education as a subject. Social studies is the study of man and his relation to the environment Civic education has to do with thr right, duties and obligations of a citizen to his country. In Nigeria at least in my own knowledge when u get to senior school ie Year 10 to 12, you have to decide what profession you want to do it may fall under science, art or commercial. I went for science so to that effect I didn't do government. Government is deeper, Civic education is just what you need to do as a citizen there's a few current affairs here and there but it's not deeper insight. So in senior school, all the department did civic education because it was compulsory. Social studies is very different. There are a few similarities but it's different. Culture is taught in social studies but it is not a civic duty whether you decide to be part of it or not it doesn't matter

Civic education wasn't the same with social studies in my school growing up. Social studies was more family and society. Civic education was more government and citizen actions-patriotism, participation, apathy
In my own secondary school in Abuja, Social studies and civic education are two different subjects...we did both of them as two different subjects in junior secondary school 😀... I enjoyed this video 😊🙌
Social studies is the same as civic education/studies. Just like how Language Arts is the same as English. Different schools call it different things. Arithmetic is the same as Math. Even in uni, CMMB is also known as microbial biology. Different names but the same concept
