Who else has as long a career with such a great catalogue. Anyway dope as always. Respect p.s Jude needs to hear some new freshness
Just here to show my appreciation to Pac's music dude keeps on blasting our ears from the grave! that's just simply amazing. Seems like he never took any rest while he was alive to record those songs. But everybody's own opinion wins this one 😂
You should do a breakdown of the underground movement of the mid 90s to the early 2000s. Going in depth on rawkus and def jux should make for a very interesting video with a lot history and influence on what the movement has turned into today
I got Face or Pac. Jay should be up for consideration. Nas has highs and lows, even though I appreciate some of what people consider a "low" album. E-40 made his own slang, a sub-culture was born from his style but I feel like his stuff hits harder on the West than it does elsewhere. Wish BIG had more than 2 albums. Cube, well if you're going to include the whole catalogue, I think he got to a certain point where he should have stopped - times have changed and your style didn't adapt to the times, but he fathered that rawness that many rappers make part of their style. So that leaves us with Pac and Face. Pac, I'm not gonna lie, I have tons of bias. Born in LA, all the older heads in my fam bumped Pac and it just became second nature. As I got older, I digested the content and it was relative for the most part. 20 years later, i can still bump a Pac album and it still hits because shit hasn't changed and it still portrays how I feel about a myriad of topics. Face, I got put on Face from cousins that came from Virginia and were about Geto Boys and all that. What I love about Face is he is so consistent. The Face you get in 2017 is the Face you get decades back AND IT STILL KICKS. Not everything was relative, but comprehending his work as a metaphor for this or that, I could make it relative. And even when it wasn't, shit was hard. I'm not gonna pick between the two because in the end, it's all just chatter but those are the two I got it narrowed down to.
It’s Scarface hands down catalog shitting on all they shit Mr.scarface is back,The World is Yours,The Diary,The Untouchables,The Last of a Dying Breed,The Fix,Balls my Word,Made,Emeritus,Deeply Rooted, The my Homies albums one and two The Geto Boys albums and everything in between c’mon ain’t nobody shit touching that.
Great catalogs I’d shout-out are Black Thought, Andre 3000, Guru, Kendrick, Kanye, Jay-Z, MF Doom, Scarface, Pac, Ghostface Killah, Pusha T, Common, Billy Woods, El-P, Freddie Gibbs and mad others that tends to be how I rate artistry is consistently good albums. An artist with one 10/10 album and a bunch of mediocre ones can’t be a goat cause that one album. Nas, Biggie, Em, 50, Ice Cube are all inconsistent or didn’t get to follow through.
1. Pac 2. Nas 3. Rakim 4. Em 5. Big 6. Scar face 7. Andre 3k 8. Kendrick 9. Ghost 10. Kane 11. Ice Cube 12. Kanye 13. KRS 14. Jay Z 15. J. Cole This is just my list. It can change from time to time...
I’m not even the biggest ice cube fan but you gotta give it to him nwa, death certificate, amerikkkas most wanted...etc he ran for way longer than 5 years NWA catalogue along alone is legendary...

Best catalog hands down goes to Scarface who’s the best ghetto storyteller of all time and the most influential rap artist. 11 solo albums and 7 albums with the Geto Boys and not a bad album in the bunch.
Scarface catalog #1 period only thing that set him from Biggie, Jay was uptempo beats shit you play in the clubs for exposure.
salih taylor Face don't need them club bangas. He made that shit that rocks the mind
salih taylor agree with that Scarface is goat e40 baddass too
Hold up, how did Jay-Z not get mentioned? Reasonable Doubt, In my Lifetime Vol. 1, Vol 2 Hard Knock Life, The Blueprint, The Blueprint 2 (underrated), The Black Album, American Gangster, Watch the Throne...
bp2 is wack, don't make excuses, 4 Jay. His catalogue is great no question about it but when you make excuses for him you start trying too hard
OMG VOLUME 3 IS SOO SLEPT ON IT REALLY MAKES ME ANGRY..DYNASTY AS WELL
Wasn't mentioned because his whole career he bit other artists rhymes
@NIKO SAMUELS okay stop screaming
This is facts Hova catalogue is unreal
Gotta be Pac!
Unfortunately, Tech N9ne does not connect to the masses. most people still kind of ignore him in general
Wonder why they call you bitch is a phenomenal song. I'll be putting my daughter on that when she gets older. Picture me Rolling! I still ride to that shit HARD!
Ghost Face KIlah has the most classic hip hop albums in his cat, His debut Ironman, Supreme Clientele, Fishcale thats 3 solo albums within the greatest hip hop collective of all time Wu, Ghost contributed towards another 5 classics , 36 chambers, Wu Forever , Raekwon Cubin Linx 1 and 2 and ODB's debut album Brooklyn Zoo. Lyrically i dont need to say much MCs know why his called GhostFaceKillah
Marco Williams i was thinking the same thing. he has a few albums that fell just short of classics too. over all his catalog is as strong as anyones
Yeah, Ghost has a mean ass collection. Probably the best out of the Wu for sho.
Not everyone is into all that kung fu crap tho
Man he's bugging 2pac double album was dope every song buggn. 2PAC THE BEST EVER
Heh up lads.Great show. Where to start.Biggie is my favourite ever.I know Justin prefers Life after Death.Ill never forget the 1st time of hearing the Intro and Somebody Gotta Die. Goosebumps .Rakim and Krs had 3 great L.Ps.Scarface gets better with age.Last years Deeply Rooted was almost as good as the fix.One guy who has an emense cat is Ghostface.Ironman,Supreme Clientele, Pretty Tony ,Fishscale (on your wall),plus The Wu Tang lps ,plus his heavy involvement in Raekwons Only Built For Cuban Linx 1&2,+Colabos with Doom & Adrian Younge (especially 12 Reasons To Die 1 which is dope ) not forgetting another 4 solo lps which all though not top Ghost quality are still excellent. Who else has as long a career with such a great catalogue. Anyway dope as always. Respect p.s Jude needs to hear some new freshness
Face you have to include these geto boyz classics as well my guy mean.
face got it!!! Hands down.
Busta Rhymes...underrated GOAT with a huge underrated catalog
Just here to show my appreciation to Pac's music dude keeps on blasting our ears from the grave! that's just simply amazing. Seems like he never took any rest while he was alive to record those songs. But everybody's own opinion wins this one 😂
The second disc on all eyez on me , was unreal lmao!
Jude’s laugh after that one caller mentions Meek Mill😂😂😂”what d’ya say?”😂😂😂
Keep going Justin!!!!! Videos are getting better with every upload and very interesting topic choices; especially with Jude! !!!
CUBE-AMERIKASS MOST WANTED KILL AT WILL DEATH CERTIFICATE AND PREDATOR THOSE ALBUMS ARE HARD TO TOP
Ghostface Killah has yet to release a sub par album. They're all 4/5 or better, he even has 3 5/5 albums.
Ice cube hands down
You should do a breakdown of the underground movement of the mid 90s to the early 2000s. Going in depth on rawkus and def jux should make for a very interesting video with a lot history and influence on what the movement has turned into today
All Eyez on me is fucking gold
Agreed on the caller shouting out E40, his catalogue is incredible.
Pac hit all ranges
Jay-Z has more emotional depth then Biggie
Gotta say 2pac for versatility of songs
Too Short is the only rapper with hits in 4 decades!
Fact's Indeed!!🎙️
2pac, Scarface, Ice Cube, E40, Biggie
That Jazzmataz reference from Jude was gold......
I'm not gonna pick between the two because in the end, it's all just chatter but those are the two I got it narrowed down to.
well said
I agree, good write up
eunjiSlays Good points
Scarface or Pac toss up.... I'm from TEXAS so I say face lol
I dont understand when they say pac wasn't lyrical. That tells me they didn't listen to him.
1. Pac
2. Nas
3. Rakim
4. Em
5. Big
6. Scar face
7. Andre 3k
8. Kendrick
9. Ghost
10. Kane
11. Ice Cube
12. Kanye
13. KRS
14. Jay Z
15. J. Cole
This is just my list. It can change from time to time...
I'm definitely with you with damn near skipping on A.E.O.M. (desk 2), but we gotta remember it is actually 2 different albums.
I’m not even the biggest ice cube fan but you gotta give it to him nwa, death certificate, amerikkkas most wanted...etc he ran for way longer than 5 years NWA catalogue along alone is legendary...
