It's bullsh1t. I created the shop, for the 1st time, brand new and LESS than 5 minutes later, I got a violation. This has happened 2x in 2 days. I didn't have a chance to do ANYTHING with the account. Within 5 minutes of OPENING the shop, they gave me a violation. Thank you for explaining this, because they SERIOUSLY messed up. Who will want to deal with them now? They should have screened for the product(s) they were having an issue with, not arbitrarily shut shops down within minutes of them being opened. I've been in IT over 30 years and whoever did that algorithm does NOT know what they're doing and should be fired.
EXACTLY!!! I say with the check marked area that I am a single seller and they want my warehouse address, etc, etc. WTF....just started watching. Guess I best watch. Praying this is the answer. Future me???
@@JustAndromeda I'm going to try an affiliate account and forget the seller. I might try the seller in a couple in a couple of months again, but not with this BS going on. You won't get past the bots. I uploaded the documents, even tho I signed up as an individual - they said I was 'missing documentation' which is false. I closed both shops, but because of the 'violation' its pending for 30 days.

this happened to me as well i continued thru the verification process and was approved praying and it was definitely frustration. i can tell you what all i had to do if that helps and the emails from them were very delayed

A lot of people (I’m in a group with repurpose content who I was learning from) and I quit doing that just so I didn’t get anymore after watching her last video
No one else in my group who have tons of videos they have repurposed have had any issues so why mine is …I don’t know if it’s my niche? So I have been making my own and still getting it 😢

@@ArabellaPrayersu have to talk to support its not that u didnt hav 5k followers. My acct got deactivated as well but not because of not having 5k. Their verification process is just super strict. Just show the documents of who u are and have a ticket opened up for help
Things to consider when doing the work around..
1) ppl are getting shut down within minutes to hours of being accepted. Even a legit seller might not have enough time to get a video up so that theory’s flawed.
2) ppl are getting banned from ever having a shop after doing this. Not worth it.
3) ppl are reporting having actually talked to TT reps who are saying they are shutting down shops that opened because they did the work around.
It’s so bad out there that ppl are demanding that those that are promoting this work around need to delete their videos and/or make videos exposing how this is not working and is creating havoc.
Having said all this I will say I created a new account, did the work around, never posted a single video and after 3 days unlinked and deleted before TT found me. I’ll just work on getting 5K followers and do it the right way.

Why on earth would they ban majority of people that are making them money lol, no, they arent, they are just being strict ab it now because it was getting spammy. If you had an account before, you are likely to not get banned.
This happened to me right after I got my shop set up. I woke up in the morning to a notice that my shop was permanently suspended. I got on the live chat, and they didn't know why it happened. My shop was reinstated immediately.

Tik Tok with all this is not worth it, holding your funds, that is not good. Too much going on with Tik Tok behind the scenes just a big headache.
i also was approved after hours at it and the back and forth with verifications and delayed emails from tiktok. whew it was definitely challenging but i cant give up.

My editing feature has been acting up and I posted a story talking about it, trying to see if other creators were experiencing the same thing. I didn't add a sound, it was just me talking. A few mins after posting, the sound was *removed* and I wasn't able to get an explanation. The next two videos I posted COMPLETELY flopped. Any thoughts on this? Is tiktok punishing me for pointing out their flaws? 😂

This happened to me. Following your other videos. I signed up, got approved within minutes then later on got a violation notice...I haven't even done anything after coming up with a name for my shop. nothing set up so I'm confused.

When I go to add a product to my showcase it doesn’t appear in my TikTok shop. Is anyone else having this issue? I’m in absolute tears. I keep seeing life just pass me by. so if you have a sellers account that is linked to a tiktok with less than 5000 your showcase will not be visible to others until you hit 5000 which is fine you can still link the products in your showcase in your videos

@@ByCrystalWilliams it seemed to work. I tested it by logging into a separate TikTok account to view my video but all I see is a paid commission content disclaimer. No link to any product that I linked in the video. I think this might be over for us under 5k. I just have to accept that. Thank your for all that you do ❤️
I did the work around before seeing this video. I'm going to go for it! I also noticed that one of the 3 videos I posted, so far, appeared in my fyp with a promote ad. It was a shopable video with a disclaimer that was only visible to me. It told me that this is what my video would look like if I paid to promote it. I thought it was pretty clever for TT to promote their "promote" feature while I was promoting a product as an affiliate.

Have you heard of someone forgetting their password and click forgot password and never receive a verification code by email? I'm having that issue for several days I have been talking with TikTok trying to resolve it and not any farther now than when I started. I used my email to sign up and thought the password was saved in my password manager but apparently not.

The question is, what do you do if you just made your tiktok account with the tiktok shop verification, all of that. And you get a suspension before you even make your first video?
Also in the tickets, is there a limit to have many times i have to do it? As i am aware there will be robots holding most of these tickets.
I literally applied as a business then hit appeal and said I literally just opened this. They corrected it in like 1 minute.
I did that too and they kept sending the same message with the vague reason for violation.
I have done this as well, Gave my driver license information front and back, passport, EIN original document from IRS, Secretary of State filing Articles of Organization, and three bank statements with name and address, but message states Invalid Supporting Material. Very sure adding birth certificate will not help...

I’m soooo excited for this video Crystal!!!! I got approved for TikTok shop and I connected the shop to my personal page not realizing it’s better to start from zero and have a separate page. So I created a separate page but before I unlink my shop to my personal page I wanted to know if that’s doable. Unlink my shop and link it to the page with zero followers. Your help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I would say keep it linked because TikTok shop is acting up right now with accounts setting up with 0 followers

Don’t know if this will help. In less than five hours of receiving the notice, I attempted to appeal it, but unfortunately, it wasn't approved. Determined to resolve the issue, I delved deeper into the process. Turning my attention to the business section of the form, I selected 'individual' and diligently filled out a W9 form. It proved to be the key to restoring my account status to good standing.
Do you have to have an LLC? Or any type of business account to do this?

tik tok can be scary there is a lot of scammers opening accounts on your name and email.

Two quick questions. Number one you said that you’re going to go live at noon tomorrow but what time zone? Question number two is I have a regular TikTok account with over 280,000 followers and obviously this is very different content of what I normally make. My shop was banned because it was “inactive” I didn’t even know it had to be active 🥺 I wish I can get my shop reinstated but unfortunately the decision can’t be appealed.
My TikTok shop received a violation (with a 30-day funds freeze) literally the minute it was approved. I tried going the ticket route, buy TikTok support kept telling me to file an appeal despite my repeatedly telling them that I'm an individual and providing my DL and passport. They finally closed out the support ticket and told me I had to file an appeal. So I filed the appeal and included the handwritten note with the date and the name of my shop with pictures of the front and back of my DL and a statement that I am an individual, not a business and therefore do not have the warehouse documents, tax documents, etc. They denied my appeal because I didn't supply them with documents that don't exist. The whole thing is maddening and I give up. So the funds freeze remains in effect. TikTok support sucks!

We basically never should’ve created an account with less than 5 k followers. It’s sad that a lot of people are going to create accounts with less than 5 k followers and run into this problem.

no my two shops are still up but remember the one i started with 0 followers made it to 7k so they shut down my sellers account but could not shut down my tiktok shop that was attached because i actually qualified now

Hi Crystal, the shop was not deactivated but I received a violation "Settlement and withdrawal of shop earnings is suspended" I received an email a few days ago that the shop was finally approved but the violation withrawal of funds is still being enforced. I did appeal and uploaded documents it as denied. Not sure what to do and the shop button was not there. I did submit a ticket but they redirected me to this same violation and the shop button not appearing. Not sure how to correct this no live person at tik tok kinda sucks too.

so a sellers account is an account that someone sets up to sell their own products on tiktok shop setting this account up also give you access to be an affiliate and sell other sellers products even if you have less than 5000 but now tiktok wants the sellers to actually sell their own products because a lot of us have set up seller accounts just to get access to e an affiliate to sell other sellers products and not our own. let me know if this was helpful

I set my account up as an individual and I told them that I signed up as an individual so there’s no business info to send. They closed my ticket.

It did not happen but they slowed down any traffic to that page. I had already hit 7k followers so they could not ban me since I met the qualifications but they stopped all traffic to that page. I use my main page

Some people are buying accounts as well with 5000 followers already gained. Just be careful of scammers. Some are actually legitimately good and safe. Discord is full of scams be careful if you take this route. I’m sorry you guys are affected by this. It’s not over don’t give up. Breathe, reset and keep going!!! ❤❤❤

I paid for pro version and I did it first without watermark it started going viral lots of likes and comments …then all the sudden I got the notification so I deleted thinking maybe we can’t without CapCut watermark and reposted it but tried a different sound from Tik tok I always use their music and that one is still left up but not getting any views barely

Well if this is true just add a product that noone will buy LOL . I connected my shop to printify and posted a sweatshirt noone will prob buy. And in case someone does its connected to printify so they’ll handle it. Problem solved
I was just on the Printify site checking to see if they had a TikTok integration. Not only that, but they give directions on how to connect the two. I have already used Printify a little bit, so I am familiar with it. I just wasn't sure about a TikTok integration. I left the Printify site to look at the comments on this video to see how people were doing, and I saw your comment. You hit the nail on the head! (For people who understand how to do print on demand, that is. It can be a little complicated, but it can be learned.)
Update to my comment above: I've been reading comments on UA-cam about integrating Printify with TikTok and several people have said that their TT accounts were suspended when they did this. One UA-cam even made a short video about this same thing happening to him six days ago. It sounds like you didn't have any problems connecting Printify with TT, is that right?
@@KickBackwithEnglishVocab i mean yea no problems at all so far. I mean if my shop gets banned then its whatever at least i tried. 🤷🏽♀️ im pretty sure EVERYONE might get banned one way or another at anytime because its ran by bots.

@@KickBackwithEnglishVocabso my shop just got deactivated but its not because i dont hav 5k followers. I just had to show proof of address so i am waiting now. I am not sure why people are saying that they are cracking down people with less than 5k followers. Ive asked around and NOBODY has been able to show proof of their violation stating that. It doesnt make sense to get a violation or store shut down for having less than 5 k followers when its allowed to be an affiliate automatically when signed up as a seller.

Same here! After watching this video, I'm afraid that this is the first clue that I'm going to lose my account. I have checked my TikTok account health and there are no violations. It's green. I have checked my Seller Center account and there are no signs of a problem. However, I can't withdraw my funds. I made my first withdrawal Sunday night without any problems, but now, like you, when I click on Earnings it says that I have no Internet connection. I just sold four items today, so that seems to be working. But what's happening with the Earnings? I don't have 5,000 followers. I used the Shop setup to be able to be an affiliate.

yikes, I had just opened a tt seller account and a new TT account and linked it to be able to do influencer affiliate videos, I am an Amazon influencer with about 1900 product videos. I have uploaded a few non product videos and a few product videos so far. I think I already got a sale as well. Hope they don't close me. I only have 67 followers right now

I got through this finslly, got my video on there, but my video keeps getting banned with no real description as to why. The generic description of "violates community guidelines" is so bizarre.
This is so aggravating. I don't know what 5 pixels of wrongness their bots are picking up.
