It is a lovely place to live! I grew up in the Midwest and sometimes miss the four seasons, but I've gotten super used to the Southern California weather - not sure I could go back!
2 hours from the beach? do you mean on public transportation? With average traffic-driving on my automobile, it takes me about 50 minutes to get to Venice, no traffic it's about 30 minutes.
Agreed,it. Doesn't take nearly that long to get to oc beaches like Newport,Huntington,Laguna... Or getting to la beaches like Venice,Santa Monica, docweiler. 2 hours is more like San Diego but I think she was just making a joke and playing off a tv show quote.
My husband loved West Covina so much, he rented a room in a private home in order to live in West Covina instead of staying home with me and the children.
Thanks Raymond! I do enjoy living here. And one thing I didn't mention is I love walking through my neighborhood after the sun has set - it's nice no matter what time of year it is!
Well-explained video. Good to see a video providing plenty of useful and helpful insights to an area where anyone is considering buying or renting a property.
That map at the intro was so helpful to me! I have watched your videos and see so many great things about this area, but I always want to know how close am I to amenities like museums, the beach, arts, great food, etc. This was great!
Fantastic - glad it was helpful! I plan on doing a lot more locally-focused videos this year, so hopefully many more interesting things will be revealed!
