Great review!!! I ended up going with these on my 2022 Ram 3500 Cummins at the beginning of summer. I also put them on our Black Series HQ17 camper. I've put about 1,000 miles on them, is all this year. But they really are very quiet for as aggressive as they look. We have been places with rocks sticking out of the ground that would have cut the original camper tires sidewall. We went camping with a big group on our last trip this year and others in our group said they were breaking traction up the last hill to get to this amazing camp site. I had zero spin towing our camper up it. We even had to stop halfway up the hill due to my cousin slipping on the hill since he walked down to show us the rest of the way due to poor cell service. I'm really glad we went with this tire so far. So far it has been a great all around tire.

I cannot believe how well Wildpeaks ride, yet have great off-road and snow capability.

Tried various tires, found my tire 3 years ago, Maxxis RAZR MT's, have taken those tires through everything imaginable in the CA, AZ deserts rain, rock, mud, little snow, rivers, ect. Surprised how quite these MT's are. Will be purchasing another set.

Got the ole girl shined right up! Great review, looks like there holding up well and work really good. You mentioned extreme rock crawling, I feel like you guys are on the extreme end of “over landing” you actually wheel and put the chinook through the paces off-road compared to others, which is one of the reasons I really enjoy your content.

This was an awesome review, thank you. I found these tires researching for an aggresive and light weight AT tire for my Wrangler and specifically I want something with less than 10ply sidwalls. These in 35x11.5x18 are 11.5lbs lighter than my 33x12.5.x18 Toyo Open Country MT, per tire. It seems sooo many of the good offroad tires have super thick sidewalls intended for vehicles much heavier than my Wrangler and as such they don't flex as much as they should imo, because they are so stiff. For what I do I'd benefit more from a sidewall with more give and 6ply is going to be perfect I think.

R/T tires are a prayer answered for many over landers. A/T tires seemed fine, until they didn't... usually caked with mud and becoming as slippery as slicks (BFG A/T, I am looking at you). KO2s were a step in the right direction, but these Falken seem to be closer to delivering the promise of a quasi AT tire that can do well enough in mud (to get you there). Looking forward to trying them next (currently on Maxxis Trepador on an 86 Landcrusher). Chinook is looking sweeter every day, you seem in good spirits and your progress is noted, aventureros! Felices Trochas!

I’ve tried a number of tires too, and also just landed on a set of coopers I’m really loving. Maybe I’ll try falkens next time! Who knows, I just know the AT3 Toyos a bought were wearing out way to fast on my new to me truck. They worked brilliantly on everything else I owned though. I also tend to lean towards a skinnier tire, but yeah, with all that weight your carrying, I understand the need for something wider

What PSI do (did) you run these at.. I run these at 285/75r17 on my Tacoma at 35 psi and they aren't really that quiet. I got about 5k miles on them, and while they aren't as loud as a Super swamper, they aren't as quiet as a K02. Other than that I have been really happy with them. Traction all around is great.
