My thoughts on loneliness - As an introvert, I purposely choose to be alone sometimes to recharge and it’s much needed (I’m happy I live by myself to have this). Although, being alone isn’t always easy as sometimes I wish I had someone who could be there but let me do my own thing while they do theirs. It would give me the time I need but without that feeling of loneliness.
The times we are living in has taught me an important lessons about echo chambers and social environments. The people that we surround ourselves with negates the realities we live by. As I found out more about yourself, I ask, “What is my controllable aspects in life?” and, “What (in my relationships) makes me feel seen and connected?” It turns out, I didn’t really want to be seen and connected because; that usually led to abusiveness from a majoritively toxic social environment. My response was a subconscious emotional detachment from everyone and that made me feel alone in crowds and in general. This made me realize that I had to step back and take inventory of the positives and negatives (which is very lonely). The great thing you have is this community who cares about you and wants you to be well. That’s a great start! 🙂

Going through a similar situation. Maybe one day I'll find a way to have a respectable mental health profile WHILE not being so lonely ha.
