My three favorite new games this year were earth, forest shuffle, and Santas workshop. I have played and lost forest shuffle three times, and nobody used the wolf and deer that I had heard so much shade about. One person was able to manipulate the bears with ridiculous expertise, and all of them were getting lots of points from their trees. I would like to try the white castle and the fox experiment sometime. At Gridcon in November, somebody brought some giant Heat maps they had printed, and they taught me enough to come in fifth instead of sixth the last two times I played.
Playing through Fox Experiment for the first time today with my 8 yo. We take a couple days to get through bigger games but I’m loving it so far! Nice video Reggie! I always like your updates 😁
Forest Shuffle is a great game. I love the nature theme and until now I couldn't see that it's unbalanced.🤔 Oh, and Pan Am ❤ I bought it 3 years ago because I was so in love with the Retro Style and than I recognized that it is also a fantastic game.😮 And the best, my husband, a non-gamer, likes it because of the theme 😅😅
My grandkids love Sushi Go. Love PWH games (Archeology, Barenpark, Silver and Gold). Love Heat. So much in the box. The finish is always unexpected. Good solo play. Yes to classic games that don’t suck. 🤣 And is “the Queen” your partner? Nice. Maybe I’ll start calling my partner “the King”, as long as he doesn’t let it go to his head. Ha ha. Thanks for the game suggestions. I need to find some Button Shy games.
Thank you for watching Alison! I haven't tried Archeology by PWH but Silver & Gold and Barenpark are two of my faves. The Qween is my wife yes - many folks assume I am calling myself the King but I am really a peasant in her realm LOL. Classic Games vid is officially in the works.
Clue is one of my favorite classic games and I agree that it's still fun! I actually like it better than Awkward Guests because I feel like Clue has more deduction 😅 And yes to the classic games that don't suck!

I keep hearing lovely things about Santa's Workshop! I played White Castle solo last night and lost by a mile hha. Thanks for watching/commenting :)
Good idea to do a video on classic board games that don't suck!
Thank you Mara! Just needed one person to motivate me hahah
Praise Be!

It just looks so fun and beautiful. Let me know how it goes fully with an 8 year old:) thanks for watching as always
You have fantastic recommendations on nature themed games. Maybe a dedicated video?
Definitely one of my fave themes. It's on the list!

I just picked up The White Castle recently too. Can't wait to get that to the table!
Played the solo twice, it's crazy hard and from forums a little unbalanced lol but STILL I can tell the game is so special and satisfying to play.
Shout out Papa Phillipe!
Our Father Who Art The Philliest.

Seems like a good idea for a guest to join the pod ;) thank you for watching!
So jelly! I need to pick up The Fox Experiment!!
I have promised myself to get it to the table by the end of the month :) thank you for watching and commenting
I tried out Forest Shuffle at my LGS and really enjoyed it. Need to get to Fox Experiment soon.
Guess games with Foxes on the cover are automatically good ;)
Get HEAT right now! 😁 (Mik)
Maybe we can play it this weekend! 🐋
Co-sign. Heat is amazing. There is so much game in the box. Feels like it has an expansion in it. Plays great at any count, from solo to six.
And there is an expansion coming.
Torrential Rain!
you're in portland!?!?!?
Yes! Haha Beaverton to be more accurate. That’s why I always comment praise for anything PNW i.e. Cascadia
P.S. hope you were ok with me shouting out your Forest Shuffle rant XD as you can tell I agree
@@rolling.reggie oh of course! good to know i'm not alone!

Is CuBirds one of those games? Havent played it myself but looked kinda cool
Not in my collection! But, I have tried it on BGA it's cute and thinkier than you'd expect.
Have you got Cubirds and Songbirds?
I have tried Cubirds on BGA! Songbirds is on the list - a few folks have put it on my radar! Gotta get my hands on it.
