I had a 2001 Granby for several years. Loved it. Couple of things for those who may be considering a FWC. You can't use them off the truck unless the bottom is supported. So it's hard to use one of these as a base if you travel from your campsite frequently. They're very airy. When all the windows are open there is tons of airflow for hot temps. On the other hand, they cool off quickly especially on a winter night. Be prepared. As for the fridge, ditch the three way and get a compressor fridge. Leveling isn't a big deal then whereas the propane fridge is sensitive to being unlevel. And the compressor fridge is far more efficient. Just some thoughts.
Nice video! Great personality ! I’ve been considering going for a long road-trip for a year or two but not sure what tho of rv I would want as they all have there pros and cons. Thank you for this 😌
A video about y’all’s experience with the tundra vs the f-150 vs the ram would be awesome. They’re all so similar and would love some opinions that come from experienced overlanders I trust to be real ✌🏽
I had the Fleet Model mounted on my 4x4 jeep truck throughout most of the 1990's. Hands down the best little camper I've ever owned. Going to revisit 4 wheel pop-ups again once i kill my E350. Thanks for sharing!
Great review as usual Mak. Nice pop-up camper. Still prefer the Tundra any day over American trucks, just so much more reliable. When driving full size trucks mpg is just an necessary consequence of doing so. Will have to research this one further.
Lawrence, Our ExpeditionVehicle is extremely insulated with dual-pane windows. We always have three windows open, some a half-inch, some an inch. Escaping warm air carries humidity.

Nice rig! Some lights under the truck would be a nice add on for you.
Four wheel campers are just awesome ! Great walk through Mak 👍
In a van now with my family, but love seeing all the options these truck campers offer. Thanks for the tour!
Wonderful tour. Very well done.

Awesome review MAK...As nice as that camper is, I still like the setup you and Owen have! Thanks for sharing!
Great tour Mak !
Thank you!
Now that some time has passed how did you diesel perform? Did you notice a difference between your Toyota?

On a Jeep?! How cool!!
There look pretty sweet! But we have too many dogs to squeeze into such a small area. RV life for us with an overland setup on our Dodge 2500!
Ha! So you got a puppy posse huh?!
@@BoundForNowhere We do, 4 dogs! 3 big dogs and a little one lol.
Well done... Great review. 👍
Thank you!
with your option what was the price roughly out the door.
I love the outtakes at the end 👍😄
Love me some outtakes
Great vid as always!! Any plans of trying to make it up to Alaska this summer?
What happened to the tundra rig? That thing is sweet... definitely made better. Could add a supercharger to the i-force for more power.
She was waiting for us patiently to come back from this trip at the FWC headquarters
@@BoundForNowhere oh that's good to hear🤙keep up the great videos and overland. Safely
can you sleep inside with the pop top down?
Yes... on the dinette cushions.
We avoid raising the top in grizzly territory.
.
With the top down, the ceiling is against the mattress.
Was that Aluminess shovel holder installed at the factory? I’d be interested in getting one of those for my Fleet model camper.
It was! I believe it's an option
Nice video! Did Tight Loops sell the Vanagon?
Nope! They just came along for two weeks to test this rig with us!
Mak, you should be a model on the Price is Right! 😁 You still travelling with the same folks from your summer series or did you adopt a similar cat?
HAHAHAHHA OH man I would love that!

Us too but we are REAL biased ;)
4:17 you're all welcome 🤣
The only way I would buy one is m project, and build it for me.
Us too
What do you do about the bathroom situation? Is there a toilet in the camper ? Shower ? Thank you
So what is your next camper purchase?
Wuz dat a special jiggy? 😳
VIDEO BACANA DE VCS, DEUS ABENÇOE SEMPRE
Woah what's the other camper that let's the whole back open?
Four Wheel Campers Project M. They did a video on it last week I think
What is the shovel mount ?
How come nobody gets these campers with a cassette toilet ?
A,
Bagging a newspaper is simpler.
More Levi please
Don't worry! There is more coming!
Very good review. I'm curious, what do you and your husband do for work?
Search their channel they have some videos on that topic of "money."
Correct!
We are designers we have a whole video on it!
Working on your twerking I see you! Nice camper I agree with you about the stove, and sink.
that must be a gas guzzler. and you do realize it's the cats truck right? loll 😂
That Ram with a Cummins will get as good or better mpg as the Tundra
That's too much truck for that camper and I'm sure your diesel prices to keep that thing full is not cost efficient!
so the same thing only bigger with extras
Well it's a slide-in the other was a a bed cap
@@BoundForNowhere wow
lol 4:18 wth dance

They didn't see this video before it was released. They gave us the rigs and told us to do as we please... which we did and always do.
Any Condensation issues?
Nope! Just do a tiny crack in a roof vent and you can stop condensation
